Hotel Bellinzona Daylesford

Service was very good.

We booked Hotel Bellinzona during a weekend up in Hepburn Springs/Daylesford. We ended up booking Bellinzona because most establishments had a two night minimum, but Hotel Bellinzona didn't. We were surprisingly upgraded, and enjoyed the unique room design/style. The pool and spa were fine, and the lobby had a bit of a buzz to it. Recommended if you are looking for a night away up in the Hepburn Springs area.

Appalling manners from the Restaurant manager at breakfast also the day before. I went into the restaurant room to look at the menu. He came from nowhere rudely slammed the door and said the restaurant was out of bounds. My answer: Close the door or place a sign there.. Breakfast was worse: Told me here would not allow me to sit at any table due to me moving twice. I had an extremely loud large family sitting behind me: Appalling manners also aggressive. The dinner is way overpriced for small servings. Breakfast was awful. Food was served cold and slammed down in front of me. I honestly couldn’t believe the manners. I’m a senior so I was raised where staff respected the paying client. I also travel widely so I’m not used to this kind of rudeness. Lack of service and lack of manners is totally unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The room was really cold and the wall heater blew out warm air, that was it. I had bought an extra blanket myself to keep warm. The staff was not helpful nor friendly in any way. Yes the present situation is difficult, I know and I understand this. However that gives paid staff no excuse for atrocious manners to a senior lady requesting a quiet table. Definitely won’t be returning, nor recommending this place to anyone. Maybe it’s more suited to families with children, not quiet people wanting a break in lovely Hepburn Springs. Atmosphere overall was cold and sterile:

Hmm. Felt like it over promised, and under delivered. Something just not quite working, for us at least. Bit tricky for suitcases and no lift. Nice bar area, with LOTS of leather chairs. Rooms are clean, big, comfortable. Again, hard to put my figure on it, but didn't quite meet expectations.

Went for mini conference to this delightful spa area. Been to this place decades ago and g]=has no had $millions spent on renovations - good job! Rooms were warm and comfortable with nice en-suite bathrooms. Meeting room was best I've seen in years , with excellent facilities and beautiful views. Great location, backing on to the Springs reserve. A special surprise for me was the great food. Well done Lancemore (operators).

We recently had a weekend stay at Bellinzona celebrating our friends 40th wedding anniversary Darren and Abbi at the front desk were absolutely amazing so warm and friendly the customer service was second to none. They made us stay so special. The rooms were absolutely lovely and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic customer service! Hosted an event here in February 2023 and pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. Such a beautiful place, just wish I’d been told the diner shuts at 8pm and so do local restaurants. Otherwise everything was wonderful and will definitely come back again.

Little gem in hepburn springs with beautiful gardens to enjoy a drink outside. Our stay was wonderful. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially abhi the front desk manager who made us feel so special. I can’t speak highly enough about. We can’t wait to come back!
