Casa de San Pedro and owners Karl & Patrick are the best! The Spanish/Mexican hacienda styl is fitting to the location near the southern Az border. It’s quiet, no houses in sight. Only the lush San Pedro River forest where hummingbirds migrate and the songs of many other birds are heard. The breakfast are wonderful, as well as the homemade pies! The pool and jacuzzi are resort level and immaculate. Close to Bisbee & hiking in the Coronado’s. Our favorite B &B! Kim & Sheryl Ptak

Excellent! Quite possibly one of the best B&B's we've stayed at. We were there for birding in the area but could have spent the whole time at the B&B. The interior courtyard was lush with plants and filled with hummingbirds when we were there in August. The hosts were extremely helpful and attentive. Really first rate breakfasts, if anything there was too much food and we were tempted to linger instead of getting out in search of birds. Every kind of tea imaginable. Pies, and brownies available all day or night. Really nice pool but we were too busy to partake. For the birders, we even added a life species on the property, Lesser Nighthawks.

This place is very nice. Rooms were big and clean. There were washer-dryers available at no charge. Pool was long enough to swim laps and the water was cool even on the hot days. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The team was helpful. Nice location with good birding on the grounds.

This is the perfect spot to relax, retreat, regroup. The rooms are lovely, there are hundreds of birds attracted to the feeders and abundant foliage and the compound abuts public lands that include the San Pedro River. A delicious breakfast is served every morning--fresh baked goods, fruit salad, and then a main course! And the afternoon offers fresh pies and a huge selection of tea and coffee. The hosts, Patrick and Karl are kind, considerate and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with them.

This place is a wonderful retreat site whether your goal is birding (on-site and in the area) or just relaxing and enjoying nature. The atmosphere is welcoming and the courtyard is gorgeous. The hosts are amazing and so are their breakfasts and afternoon pies. I have been coming here every late Spring for almost ten years and hope to continue to do so for many more!

This was my second visit; such a lovely, peaceful place. Spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful hosts, lovely places to sit and watch the birds at the feeders, and delightful breakfasts. I look forward to my next visit! Access to open space for walks along with the San Pedro River added to the experience, also.

I have been birding in Sierra Vista countless times, but never knew about the hummingbird banding or even the fabulous hidden treasure that is the Casa de San Pedro. What a lovely place to stay, where you can get 10 life birds before breakfast just walking to the parking lot to get something out of your car. My sister and I went for mother's day; unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool or hot tub because we birded from sunup to sundown, but I will definitely be back. We only had time for breakfast one morning, but it was healthy and delicious. My favorite things about the room were the awesome showerhead, the Eddie Bauer bed linens, and sleeping with the window open, the sound of the fountain lulling me to sleep and the bird song waking me in the morning.

Oh my goodness this place is so beautiful and special! Hosts are gracious, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and lovely. The central courtyard, grounds, and surrounding property are gorgeous. Breakfasts are delicious. The organized Friday morning birding walk was spectacular! As was all the birding we did just walking from the property. And we had easy access to the nearby canyons of the Huachuca Mtns for outstanding birding. We only regret we didn't plan for a longer stay, and we didn't manage to sample the homemade pies.. We'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa de San Pedro and hope our travels take us back there again soon! Check-in was easy, and Patrick accommodated our late check-in after we ran into some issues at the airport that stalled our arrival. Our room was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Patrick also was kind enough to leave out a takeaway breakfast for my husband and I when we had to leave for early birding trips. We did manage to eat one sit-down breakfast as well as Mexican dinner, and both were delicious. And the best, most genius amenity of all was afternoon pie! A great treat post-birding. Lots of feeders to observe birds, convenient access to trails, relaxing places to sit and read. We really cannot say enough good things.
