Hikkaduwa Hotels with Bars

My favorite hotel in Sri Lanka, super sea view room, the view is super beautiful! It's very pleasant to walk on the beach in the morning and evening. The swimming pool is also great. There are many chipmunks on the lawn, and the children are so happy. Half board The breakfast and dinner buffets are also very good, and you can see that they are carefully prepared. The staff are very nice, and the elephants folded with towels are so cute 😍

The hotel, to put it mildly, is very tired, the elevator has not been working for a very long time, there is no cleaning in the room, you have to ask to change the towels, if you throw them on the floor this does not guarantee a replacement, they will pick you up, fold them and put them on the bed... During the season, breakfast is a buffet and they are not bad, but in the off-season the breakfasts are very meager... The coffee is simply disgusting, I have never encountered worse anywhere... But all the shortcomings of the hotel are offset by its location! The best beach, beautiful ocean! And you can simply close your eyes to all the shortcomings and enjoy your vacation! By the way, there are only 10 sun loungers in the hotel, keep in mind...

In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)

The hotel is on Hikkaduwa Beach, about 20 kilometers from the ancient city of Galle. The scenery is incomparable, the swimming pool is beautiful, the rooms on the second floor are almost facing the sea, and the first floor is facing the pool ... the gym equipment is a bit behind ... the breakfast is good, the local meals are mainly ... Dinner buffet at 2,000 rupees per person ... the staff are welcoming ... the surrounding facilities are convenient and the fishery is spectacular, a ten minute walk from the Hikkaduwa bus station train station ... it is very convenient to go to Galle and Colombo ... the most important thing is that the domestic uncles and aunts are very Less ... highly recommended!

This hotel was our first stop in Sri Lanka to get acclimated to the weather and the time difference and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. What stood out most was the size of the rooms, the cleanliness of the premises (thanks to Akalanka, Deep and Sugath), and the devotion of the employees, especially Ravidu and Surangi! Everyone was welcoming and extremely helpful. They didn’t hesitate to give good recommendations of what to do or where to go, like the nice receptionist and the kind manager. The food was another highlight of this hotel that everyone should experience! It was simply amazing and they were very accommodating of any special requests we had in this regard. We recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Sri Lanka and wants to experience Hikkaduwa.

We enjoyed a short stay at Riff Hikkaduwa - and loved every minute. Our room was clean and really comfortable with a fantastic view out to the beach and Indian Ocean. The hotel has a real chic feel about it - and the staff without exception are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We have to give a huge shout out to the hotel driver who picked us up and dropped us off at Colombo Airport - as well as taking us out for a day to Yala National Park where we had the good fortune to not only see elephants and mugger crocodiles but also a leopard. Breakfast was excellent and both restaurants have good food and varied menus. This was our first visit to Sri Lanka and the hotel was well placed to not only relax but to also see some of the country, the Old Fort in Galle being another great visit. And loved the ”towel elephant” left on our bed on our last night !!

We have been travelling around Sri Lanka for the last 14 days with 12 friends and decided, on the spur of the moment to book in to the Coral Rock by Bansei hotel for the last 5 nights of our stay. We were met at reception by a stunning young lady who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food is amazing, I had the best works beef burger, the beer is icy cold (we are Aussies and love cold beer) and the staff couldn't have done any more for us. The rooms are great, the whole Hotel is very well presented. We even had our towels made in to little love hearts. I am sitting on the pool deck enjoying the sun while watching the waves crash on the shore I would highly recommend this hotel. Cheers

We recently stayed 11 days at this hotel and it did not disappoint. All of the members of staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The decor of the hotel is lovely, full of character and immaculately clean. We had a ground floor suite which was stunning. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and all the meals that we had were excellent. After visiting other hotels in the area we definitely felt that we had made the right choice. Fantastic for a relaxing holiday for all of the family! Thank you to everyone at Suite Lanka for helping us make fabulous memories.

I honestly can’t say how much I loved staying at this hotel. We were a group of 21 and they did nothing but make us feel at home. Lovely bedrooms, amazing food, and the best staff you could ask for. Def would stay again in a heart beat. The club on a Friday night was an added bonus.

We were a group of friends going on our first post-covid vacation together. We were the first guests for the season & from the warmest welcome smile that we received, we knew that we were going to be treated well. The staff are absolutely amazing & was always at our service! The chef & team are ever ready to help us out. The chef had prepared some scrumptious mouth watering meals for us. They were also very concerned about the 2.5 year old with us & made sure that his food was prepared early. The villa itself was super gorgeous & breathtaking! The pool & the views were just amazing! There's plenty of lounging space for everyone. The place is well maintained and super clean & everything still looks brand new! We are eagerly looking forward to coming back!
