Outstanding
Loved this bed & breakfast!. Rooms were well designed with balconies overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was reserved when you arrived and in the morning it was ready when you arrived to the dining room. The staff was very lovely and helpful. This B&B is perfect place to stay for a visit to Sintra and the surrounding areas. It is located in a small town with a great restaurant by the sea. It can get quite windy with winds coming from the sea in the morning and evenings - bring a jacket! Keep in mind that the chalet does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. It is a lovely upscale B&B. I highly recommend it.
GGuest UserWhat a beautifully curated interior this hotel has! A very special ambiance has been created by Vitorino through a delightful mixing of classical and modern design influences, suffused with a sense of calm well-being. We had a most comfortable stay here. Vitorino's attention to detail did not stop at the furnishings - daily freshly prepared breakfast treats were another stand-out feature. Vila Vitorino got our vote for best Portuguese custard tart of the holiday too. Thank you very much for looking after us so well! Our dinner recommendations from this hotel are Otto's (across the road) where we had tasty freshly cooked pizza, pasta and some regional dishes and Colheita 71 (about a 15 minute walk away). This latter proved to be one of the best dining experiences of our week-long stay in the region, with wonderful regional dishes and a particularly kind hostess who was able to help with some dietary requirements under fairly short notice.
Quiet and super comfortable bed & room with a Scandi touch. Lovely abundant breakfast and great care for every detail, including dietary requirements. The honesty basket with wine and treats is very cute - they close reception at 10pm at the moment. Great for a proper solo/couple switch off and rest from travels & the big city! Loved the fact there’s no TV anywhere and the WIFi is fast. I’d chose it again for remote working in the winter sun with the ocean right there. The cliff walks are abundant, great value in the local restaurants (I’ve been to Água e Sal three days in a row!!) and of course fascinating Sintra nearby. If you’re looking for scenic drives by the ocean and exploring the region, yes it’s best to have a car, but for a proper switch off, it’s fine with bus and train also - the staff knows it all. Well worth it! 😊
NninasantlerThe room was nice and tidy, the staff was very lovely and helpful, breakfast was good and the sourroundings very beatiful (i had been to sintra and the cost). I was there by car and found it usefull, i don't know how good the bus connections are...
