Top Couple Friendly Hotels in Hong Kong

Our experience at Hyatt Centric is unforgettable! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary in HK and we booked this place for our last night in the city. During our stay, we ended up wishing that we booked more nights! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and the location was super convenient since the shops, MTR, and bus stops were just a walk away. We opted for in-room dining since we were too tired to go out for dinner and I must say, the food was great! It was a bit pricey but I understand it's not just the food we're paying for, but the experience as well. The view from our room was great and the complimentary cake warmed our hearts. We hope to come back again someday. Thank you, Hyatt Centric!

One of the most affordable 4 star hotel in HK! Nice place to live in although far from the heart of HK. Good shuttle bus service from 0700-2300h from MTR station but it's about 4.5km walk outside these hours. Glad they upgraded my room because the view is amazing! Although a bit disappointed that the pool, sky garden and jacuzzi is closed for maintenance.

Excellent service and thanks for the front desk upgraded the room with full sea view for celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. Great thanks for the birthday card (nice drawing) and cake. Very good mattress and no disturbance and noise made even if getting on and off the bed at night. Free snacks and drinks. 👍🏻 The only point is a little bit slippery in the bathroom and I accidentally fell and got a little hurt. So we checked out a bit late.

Excellent stay for family with toddlers. 2 minutes walk to supermarket and epicland. Great fun for kids. Great appreciate if the frequency of hotel shuttle bus can be increased.

Our hotel stay at the Arca was quite satisfactory. The room was quite big and there were three comfortable beds. The toilet is also very spacious and large, and allows for two shower rooms inside. The design of the room was quite smart, all in all. The location was okay, easily visible from the nearest station. The service was also very good, they even offered us a complimentary cake for my wife’s birthday as well as three complimentary drinks as an apology for the slightly delayed check-in. All in all, great hotel!

I recently stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel on 31/12/2024 and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay had several challenges that impacted my overall satisfaction. Since there were no available double bed rooms on the non-smoking floor, I was assigned to a smoking room on 9/F. As a non-smoker, I expected a slight cigarette smell, but the odor in the room was quite heavy. I informed housekeeping to spray air freshener while I was out for dinner, but the smell persisted, and even after checking out, I could still smell it on my clothes. Additionally, the room itself felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and it is in urgent need of upgrades and maintenance. The decor and furnishings could definitely benefit from a refresh to enhance the guest experience. Another downside was the Wi-Fi connectivity. The signal in my room was poor, making it impossible to download games to my Switch. I found myself having to stand in the corridor just to complete the download, which was quite inconvenient. On a positive note, the staff were polite and attentive, which made a difference in my stay. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which provided some comfort despite the other issues. In summary, while the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel has potential with its friendly staff and spacious accommodations, significant improvements are needed in terms of room conditions, maintenance, and amenities.

Perfect for short stays in HK! Very central and cost efficient. I always stay here when visiting HK for a day or two. Stanford Hillview never disappoints!

It was a bumpy trip since my son got fever as side effect of the vaccine and I needed to extend our stay. As soon as I informed the hotel, they sent us a free thermometer and upgraded our room to harbor view which is closer to the lift. Extremely grateful to Rene Tsang for the smooth transition and care. Also, thanks to Marina at the breakfast restaurant for assisting me take out some porridge and juice for my son. I am very impressed by W’s exceptional service and definitely will come back again.

Pretty spacious for Hong Kong standards. Staff were nice and friendly. However our room was constantly humid and the blackout curtains got stuck down. The gym is not to my standards as there wasn’t a single dumbbell in it and it was kinda small but had a bathroom. Fire alarm went off every night and woke up the whole hotel haha, most likely because of smokers, can’t blame the hotel for it.

This is our fourth or fifth time staying at WM. We’ve always loved the location, service, and the environment here. The restaurants are great too. This time we stayed at the 2/F with no balcony but still got a big bathtub. - there’s a noise problem, very serious noise problem. There was a group of people, I believe who stayed right below us - have been chatting very loudly on their balcony even after midnight. I called the front desk to talk about this but it still took quite a while to get them quiet. Didn’t really get a good sleep. But other things are great.
