Uhhhhh..... We stayed in this hotel because our flight got in late and we needed a place close to the airport to crash for one night. This hotel fits that purpose well. That said, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for any other situation other than the one I just described. They were pumping sewage right outside of our door the morning we woke up. Also, our room key didn't work the morning we were checking out. The only other positive of this hotel is that it is within walking distance of THE BEST little food place we came across on our whole trip: Joe's Grill Express. We cannot wait to come back so we can visit Joe's again.

For someone wanting to experience Waikiki on a budget it’s a great price! Perfect location right across the street from the ocean and the beach! It’s only 2 min walk to the zoo and the Waikiki trolly bus stop is less then a block away and it’s only $5 a day to take. This hotel is perfect for convenience and location!! The bed isn’t the most comfortable and there are nicer and cleaner hotels but your going to pay a-lot more for that. This was perfect for a short few day trip I took! I’ll definitely book there again! Also their parking lot is not very big so if your getting a rental car I would call them first to confirm they have a spot available for your car to be parked if they do it’s only $30 a night which is also a great price! But that was sold out the whole time I was there. I didn’t need it because I didn’t have a rental car. But I could see that being an issue if you have a rental car.

Good location. Short walk to waikiki beach. Less than 1 mile away from a good grocery store and you get a discount at iHop next door. Friendly staff, cozy place.

The so-called publicity is difficult to adjust. Less than satisfactory, the room is less soundproof, the room is smaller, the air conditioning is old and hidden under long curtains. In any case, the biggest advantage is that you can walk near the beach for about ten minutes. The price/performance ratio is relatively high. Will come later.

The Pagoda is a laid back hotel with huge rooms, nice balconies looking out into a courtyard pool, and all the bare necessities/ amenities you need. It’s not too loud in my opinion and my room was very clean. Coffee every morning and a kitchenette to make food (in a neighborhood where going out to eat is pricey). Great AC. GREAT GREAT WIFI (a necessity for me). For surfers, it’s a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach. It’s easy to dry your suits on the balcony. And easy to wash off the sand in the bathroom by the door without tracking it into the room. I recommend the Moku surf shop. Recommend you bring earplugs just in case you wanna nap during the day. Ask the hotel staff for cutlery!

Located in the middle of downtown Waikiki, international marketplace Waikiki Beach was also close and very convenient! The cool guy at the reception is also friendly. Smile even if you don't speak English very well I'm glad you responded. The only drawback is that the nightclub is inside the building. From 10pm to 3am and 4am The explosion echoes throughout the room and throughout the hotel. I was tired from sightseeing and was able to sleep despite the loud noise. It was a great decision to bring a hair dryer! The bed and sofa are extremely fluffy. It was very easy to sleep and comfortable. Overall, the loud noise is fine.
