"If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a lot of amenities this is not it. But if you want a comfortable, clean, nice room in a quirky neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff, at a good price, then I recommend Ode. the owner and her staff were very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed. The room was very nice and had character, spacious, with a nice bathroom."

The location is terrific and very convenient. The iconic landmarks are all within about half an hour's walk. Simple breakfast is provided daily. There are separate sections for working or socialising which are good. Only setback is that it can be quite disruptive if you are a light sleeper. Noises are inevitable given all pods are in the same space.

Front desk staff were very good. Room was okay, had a weird musty smell probably because of the carpet. Mattress on bed was horrible definitely needs to be replaced. Overall it was just okay. The location was perfect for my needs.

If you are looking for a clean comfortable bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen very close to everything at a reasonable price, this is the place to be. It's not the Ritz by any stretch of the imagination, but it does the job. The check-in staff was courteous and helpful. Next time I am in Toronto, I will definitely book at the Dragon Gate Inn.
