Irkutsk Hostels

I arrived in Irkutsk that evening by Trans-Siberian Railway, and it was raining heavily. This small hotel was conveniently located on the second floor of the train station. The room was rather basic, but the white sheets were fairly clean. There was a shared shower area, and the receptionist was very welcoming. It would be a good place for a short stay.

We stayed overnight twice, in family rooms 6 and 8. Everything was clean, everything we needed was there, including excellent new bedding, towels, and disposable slippers. Near the airport, in a nice area.

There was a room with its shower and toilet. On 1-2 night is a good option. The clean room small bed is good. The window in the ceiling is unfortunately not closed but at night there is not much light from it. There is a refrigerator but it is noisy if not needed it can and can not be turned on. There is always a staff member on the recipe. The only minus very thin walls I heard snorting who behind the wall as if he was lying next to it. And the noise from the street is also heard. The shower in a bad condition water hot-hot stress is good. Towel tooth brush gel shampoo all eat.

The hotel has excellent facilities, but the downside is there's no elevator and the room is a bit small. However, the environment is good, and it offers great value for money. Harat's inn Hotel is located above Harat's pub, which is a Russian chain bar. Our check-in was handled at the pub's front desk. The pub has an Irish theme, a great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. There are restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, and a bus stop is just a short walk away, making it very convenient overall.

The experience was great, because I had to take the commuter train the next day, so I chose to be in the suburbs. The old lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. If I had the opportunity, I would stay.

The woman who answers the phone is incredibly strange (to put it mildly). She answers calls while simultaneously distracted by her own affairs, speaking rudely. It's scary to imagine foreign tourists checking in here; she barely even speaks Russian. The location is good, but the downside is that it's incredibly loud. Every day, by 5 a.m., they start making noise and clearly don't care that other guests are still sleeping. On Saturday, two drunk women rented the room next door, and everyone's conversations were audible. If you want a good night's sleep, this is definitely not the place. Looking for adequate accommodations, too.
