Overall the room was great and spacious. The location is well situated and easily accessible to shopping and dining options. Unfortunately the elevators had issues and needed to wait long times to come and go.

We visited the Westin Downtown Dallas for a conference at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. It was a very short walk and surrounded by cute restaurants and bars. We even had a colleague forget her phone in Arlington and the valet (Melvin) went all the way there to get it for her! The hotel is clean and beautiful but I would stay here ten times over the staff and the hospitality.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with good lighting. I enjoyed the comfortable furniture and the amenities in the room. The gym could have used a few more pieces of equipment (a number of attachments were missing from the cable machine), but all in all they did have plenty of equipment to get a solid workout in. Would definitely stay here again. Location great as well.

First, our experience with this hotel was absolutely horrible. The key system in our door failed multiple times, causing numerous trips to get help to get into our room. Second, the tail lights of our vehicle were stolen over night. The initial manager we worked with was complete unhelpful and refused to help accessing the cameras to give more information to our insurance. Please explain how this happened when they have overnight security that patrols the parking lot?? The manager was dismissive and had the audacity to offer us dinner despite the amount of time and money this ordeal will put us out on. Instead of offering any sort of help he offered dinner. Dinner is offensive in the lieu of actual help and care. Despite all of this, when we spoke with Quin she was amazing. She was understanding, polite, and helped us that best she could. It is ONLY because of our amazing interaction with Quin that this hotel is getting the review we are giving it. Thank you Quin!

When you walk into the lobby it is welcoming, modern and clean. Unfortunately none of those feelings go any further into the hotel than that. The rooms were a bit grubby and everything was worn - the cupboard the fridge was in didn’t close properly, the air conditioning was really loud, the bedding was worn (and no longer white), the towels threadbare and the shower badly repaired (I have posted a photo of this and the towels). When we used the shower the mirror misted up and you could see what a previous resident had written on the mirror (I have posted a picture of this) - suggesting no one is cleaning the mirrors, and if they are skipping them then what else are they skipping? As for the on site restaurant, what can I say? Do not eat here. When we tried to there was a big crowd at the bar, making a lot of noise, and we were seated in the small bar area. Despite having three couples dining they seated us all in the small, crowded bar area and didn’t open the restaurant seating. The menu is very small, not many options at all, and the drinks menu shows about a tenth of the drinks they actually have. Our waitress seemed confused easily, my wife asked if they had Sierra Mist to drink and received a blank look and a puzzled ‘Mist?’ as an answer. When our food arrived my wife’s salad had some unidentified black bits in it and I found a twisted ribbon of metal in between a slice of lukewarm sausage and the soggy fries. We called the waitress over to receive more blank looks to our complaints, no apologies or suggestions of alternatives. In the end we just got up and left, saying we weren’t going to pay for a meal that we hadn’t eaten because we didn’t fancy a trip to hospital. So, dangerous food, poor service and an unpleasant environment - do yourselves a favour and do what we did, go out and eat the great Mexican food at Uno Mas around the corner.

I've stayed at quite a few Hilton properties and was expecting great things from this stay but I have to say I was left extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre. For the amount of money I spent for 5 nights I definitely expected a lot better and should've went with my gut in picking another hotel. From it's location you can definitely tell it is more geared towards corporate travelers and convention groups. It's about 20mins away from DFW airport. I stayed in room 1524 and one of the most confusing things was trying to figure out why the bathroom was configured the way it was. The toilet is very low and faces the door and if you want to get into the shower, you have to close the bathroom door Also for the desk the chair doesn't even go with the desk, so it doesn't roll under the desk and is just in the way due to how big the desk is. Also, the outlets in the room were extremely loose, every time I plugged something in, the plug would fall out. Only in the bathroom did the appliances I plugged in stay in the outlet. My biggest complaint was the housekeeping service. I inquired if I had to request daily housekeeping and the front desk told me yes I had to. After instructing the front desk of the hotel that I wanted daily housekeeping, my room was only cleaned twice for a 5 night stay. This was after going down to the front desk three times to inquire about why my room had not been cleaned. I left at 12p on Friday and came back a lil after midnight and my room hadn't been cleaned. They said as long as I didn't have the privacy badge on the door it would be cleaned and I always removed it once I left the room, so I was very confused as to why my room never got cleaned and I had to continuously follow up. Very unacceptable. For a Hilton and the price I paid for this stay, I was left extremely disappointed and would choose another hotel for my next stay in Dallas.

This hotel was really cute, had such a great vibe. The front desk guy Jacob was so friendly and really made me feel welcomed, he had a big smile on his face explained parking and how the key works, even told me if I wanted to hold my luggage there with him in the morning that they would be happy to do it so the kids could swim, he also explained to me that the kitchen was open until 10:00 p.m. and we could either order downstairs or even on the rooftop. The rooftop was chill, nice music very laid back, we ended up ordering our food downstairs the bartender was great answered all my questions and very patient. The food was okay I ordered a burger just didn't have very much flavor to it needed a little more seasoning on the burger itself, salad was good and sweet potatos fries were decent. The room itself was super cute lots of space for the kids, love that they had a noise machine because I forgot to bring my fan. The pull out sofa was clean, The only thing I can really complain about was the sink it just did not drain well but overall was a wonderful stay I would definitely recommend.
We have stayed here in the past with no issues but this last stay 8/20-8/22 will be the last. We came into the hotel around 10pm after grabbing dinner and went to bed. Sometime during the night someone managed to pop our bed cover and tail gate open even though it was locked. They stole our tail lights and every tool we had in the bed of our truck. Total damage/stolen tools is around $10k. There’s security that drives around the parking lot but don't let that fool you, they’re not hotel security just someone the city asks to drive through the parking lot to deter thief’s. Obviously it doesn’t work considering we didn’t see anyone that night and no one came in to the hotel to report a break in when clearly you could see wires hanging where the tail lights should’ve been and the tailgate wide open. The front desk said the only thing they could do was have me fill out an incident report for the hotel and I had to call the cops. The cops refused to come out and said we had to file an auto burglary report online. Management said they have cameras but they only hold 15 days of footage so hopefully the detective comes to collect before then otherwise it’ll be gone. So a word to the wise, stay here at your own risk. Seems in the past 90 days they’ve had tons of theft issues in this area.

KKevin HWe booked this last minute through Expedia.com after our flight was delayed getting in to Dallas. The booking went very easy. We arrived about 10pm on a Friday night. The first thing we saw when entering was the blatant show of an armored security guard at the desk was a bit disconcerting. It portrayed fear for the safety of the guests instead of insuring it as he was quite imposing and intruded into personal space. Otherwise, check-in was very quick and the clerk directed us to our room. Upon looking around the property seemed to be in need of some TLC, but it was not in a poor state. We were tired, so we went on to our room. The room itself was on the 4th floor, right off the elevator. It was spartan, but appeared clean. There was a seating area with a tiny kitchenette-style area and a small LCD TV. The TV ”Guide” channel also did not display any data, so we had to resort to channel surfing. The batteries in the remote were very low, so it was difficult to change channels. Upon entering the bedroom, we encountered a king-sized bed which barely fit in the space. There was only one outlet next to the bed which worked, and one of the reading lights was non-functional. We inspected the linens and found them clean and the pillows did not immediately crush. Upon looking at the window, we had a great view of the side of an event center. And the lock on the window which was supposed to keep it secure had been broken off (part of it was laying in the window sill). Moving to the bathroom, we found a nice sized bathroom with a huge Jacuzzi tub. My girlfriend set about to fill it and take a bath. It took quite a long time to do so as the water pressure was not good. Also, the temperature of the water was either ice-cold or scalding hot. There seemed no way to get it to be even a bit ”warm”. The sink was cracked, but did not seem to leak. The exhaust fan ran, but did nothing to clear steam from the room. We slept well in spite of the sirens along the streets and then went down to try the breakfast. It was very typical of this chain and included the typical cereals, powdered eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, and pre-made biscuits with canned gravy. Nothing special, but about what I would expect. Checkout was easy, as we had paid via Expedia. Some things I learned the day after, though, were a bit alarming. So, some advice to the hotel: When checking in, it would be nice for the front-desk clerk to inform the guest that they will be automatically enrolled in the IGH rewards program. It would also be nice if they informed the guest that there will be an additional charge to their credit card ”as a deposit” before the charge occurs. While this was supposed to have been reversed at checkout, it has not yet been reversed at my bank. These two things indicate poor business practices. Overall, it was about average for what I have come to expect from a Holiday Inn Express anywhere in the country. So, 3 stars.

GGuest UserPretty sad to write this review. This room was filthy. Feet turned black. Curtains falling down. Toilet broken. I stay in hotels 15 nights per month and have a high tolerance for dirt, but this room was pathetic. Manager Louis said he would see curtains were repaired. Never repaired. He said they were short staffed. My thought is close off the rooms you can’t manage then. Had to request twice toilet be repaired. Returned that evening to find a note on toilet that said not repairable. Learned parts not available for toilet due to a art vender not being available according to front desk (run over to Home Depot!) Was offered another room but that was not an option for us due to small children and late. They didn’t bother to pick up phone and give us an earlier notice. We would have just gone home. Discussed with Louis, several days later) as no manager with any authority works weekends and he told me I shouldn’t have called the diamond desk to complain as he couldn’t do anything now but give some points. That was false, he refunded one of two nights. I’m preparing my letter to parent company, Texas Western, as they probably don’t see these reviews. This hotel has no business being part of the Hilton brand.

We were allowed to check in half an hour early which was nice. The rooms are large but are a bit dated. It looked like they tried to renovate at some point. There are foot and shoe prints on the floor that look like a permanent fixture. Our shower had decent pressure, but the toilet was a bit on the low flow side. Our air conditioning system did not work the greatest either. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. Orange juice not working, coffee machine not working, and no waffle batter for the machines. There seemed like there was security at night, we had some drunks knock on our door at 11pm...I'm not sure if I would stay here again, BUT this is a cheap no frills place to stay in the downtown Dallas area.
