New York Hotels with Hot Tub

The first thing I will mention is that the hotel is 5 star and is expectedly, very expensive, being in the heart of Times Square. I took this into account when writing my review. If I am paying that much, my expectations would be higher than normal. I stayed for 12 nights over the Christmas and NY period so I obtained a very comprehensive view of the hotel and everything about it. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the staff were always there to attend to any requests and issues. The moment I got out of my transfer car, there was a lovely young gentleman waiting to get all my bags and transport me upstairs to the reception. The check-in was reasonably flawless but there was a bit of confusion around the payment because of resort fees the hotel charges daily. I prepaid my booking and there was confusion over whether it included or excluded the resort fee. The reception area is immaculately presented and the bar and restaurant are both located here. I intended to use the gym during my stay, but didn't have time to even take a peek. Nor did I visit the bar or restaurant. There's way too many options outside to do that. The very polite and courteous young gentleman then took me up to my room. He showed me everything and away he went. I got a bit of a room upgrade which I highly appreciated and had a beautiful view of Times Square. I was on the 2nd highest floor, floor 39. The room is not big. It was adequate for one person but nothing more. I don't think I would be able to stay here if I was with another person. It would be too uncomfortable and I had to find space for my 2 suitcases and carry-on. The bathroom is open plan, with a door for the shower and toilet. A big problem I had in my room was that if it was windy you will hear a loud whistle coming through the bottom of the front door. It really annoyed me. I had to take the cover off the bed and make a snake shape to block the gap underneath the door to stop the noise. Even a bath towel didn't work. They need to fix this. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very beautifully equipped, presented and maintained. I was pleased to see that most of the things I requested before I arrived (some extra bath mats, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, mini fridge, bathroom scale) were mostly there upon arrival. I quantified the number of towels I needed as I was not getting any housekeeping during my 12 night stay but I did not get the quantity requested. I expected a bit more attention to detail for a 5 star hotel. Before I arrived I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion and Guest Services pushed up my expectations as I was celebrating a special occassion and they said something nice, I assume maybe a cake or some alcohol would be waiting for me in the room. When I arrived there was nothing. And there was never going to be anything throughout my stay. I didn't mind and only remembered towards the end of the stay. Room was clean but water machine and went working and the blinds on windows were broken as the handle to close them was missing. Also the amenities changed and they’re not as good as previously no razor or toothbrush in room unlike the Conrad in London

The room has a good view and compared to the same price, I personally think it is not up to standard, but it is very comfortable. It is understandable in this area of ​​​​NYC. If you want a good view, you can’t go wrong by booking this hotel. You must book the Skyline. The highest floor that the elevator can reach is 36 Skyline. The line is at 35. It’s really beautiful at night. If you are looking for comfortable accommodation, there are better hotels at the same price. Although there are always patrols in the busier streets of Manhattan, there are still some homeless and secluded small hotels nearby when you go out at night. Try not to walk on the alley. I hope everyone goes out together at night and pays attention to safety.

Great location for a person seeking the heart of Times Square. There are various levels of rooms so don’t be offended if you don’t book a city view and then get a window with a view of a building. The entrance was decent, yet for a W hotel, I never saw a doorman on site. We never had staff assist us with our bags either. The initial impression after the primary door is decent. They turned it into an sort of underwater experience. With this being said the four nights we stayed there I also never once saw a security guard as you first enter leaving a bit of safety concerns up for grabs. From there you have to catch an elevator up to the main lobby which is nicely decorated. Upon checking in don’t expect to be greeted with a smile (even if you have rank as a bonvoy member). Just get your key and go. As for the room the overall appearance is dependent upon the level of room you choose, so to be impartial I won’t give my opinion on the rooms. I will though, continue to comment on the lackluster service as that aspect should be stellar across the board. Upon asking for recommendations for the city we were handed a crumbled, partially torn paper with a generous number of locations, no additional information was provided by the staff. The night before checking out I found myself in need of a razor. I called guest services and they advised they’d be able to provide one. 40 minutes had passed and still no razor. After burning much time just waiting, I decided it would probably be faster for me to walk to CVS buy one and come back (which it was). Again, I mention the location is prime Times Square making every item the hotel forgets to bring you, easily found and easily accessible by foot. The cocktails at the “Living Room” bar are horrible. They range from $20-25 per cocktail and if you light a cigarette near it, you’ll probably catch on fire from the amount of unshaken liquor in the glass. A heavy pour isn’t always a good pour especially when you’re looking to actually be able to walk the city. We have the living room bar 3 tries before deciding to just have our first set of cocktails outside of the establishment. A benefit is that the W gives you $25 to spend at the bar daily with your $25 resort fee. For the first time in my life free wasn’t actually better. I really would love a call from someone at the establishment as I am certain the experiences my wife and I dealt with are not the “norm”. Overall, do not recommend. I would recommend The NY Marriott Marquis.

The room is a little small but I think it’s alright. I really loved how they managed to let us check in early after we let them know the estimated time of arrival. The service was overall alright. One sad thing was that they were not able to provide bottles of water but at least they had a bottle refill station. The location was the star of this hotel everywhere was pretty much walking distance. I really loved it.

Located very short distance from JFK airport. Hotel privides complimentary shuttle bus picks up and send off to JFK airport terminals. Upon arrival into JFK, i took Air train to Federal Circle and follow sign board to reach hotel shuttle bus picks up point. Driver Ivan is friendly and polite, transported us safely to and fro airport. Receptionist is friendly and quick in getting check in done within minutes. Room is clean and spacious. I had a very long flight arriving late evening into JFK and though hotel only provided basic needs, a comfortable bed and clean room with good hot water supply in shower was really what i needed most. Very simple morning breakfast served from 6am to 10am. Great coffee and orange juice, i had 2 slices of toast and a few pork sausages. Overall a very good experience and highly recommend for travelers who wish to stay near airport or for transit flight.

This is a well appointed hotel, 1 minute walk from Time Square. Great location for local attractions, but also for getting to see the main attractions of Manhattan. As we were staying for 7 nights we upgraded our room and had plenty of space on the 43rd floor. Beds were very comfortable and the whole room clean and pretty well appointed. Hotel also has one of the highest roof-top bars in New York!!

The best hotel I ever stayed at. They were extremely nice (cheerful and funny) staff and they were very accommodating. Especially Jessica and Annalie. They went above and beyond. I received a gift bag of goodies for my birthday and I was super touched and happy. No hotel has ever done that for me, and I’ve been to many hotels across the country. The room was quiet and large and very comfortable. Love the bed. The amenities were great and the sushi restaurant next door was awesome.

The hotel is very old. The rooms are tiny. The view is ok but you cannot enjoy it because of very dirty Windows. The stuff is nice and helpful. Breakfasts are so so - not a lot of variety.

We just completed a quick one-night stay for a concert at Pier 17's rooftop stage (Blondie - Deborah Harry can still rock the house at age 77!). We arrived via ferry from the Highlands in NJ (excellent way to travel, the views are amazing.) The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from the terminal. Using the chat feature on the Bonvoy app, I requested an upgrade to a riverview room from the standard room on points I booked and an earlier check-in (1:30 PM). They immediately updated my room type on the app and there were no issues checking in early. We had a nice view of the East River. The room was your typical small NYC size, but very functional. Everything was spotless, with plenty of towels, etc. in the bathroom. There were 4 small bottles of water in the mini fridge, which was a nice touch. We took the $20 food and beverage credit as my Titanum welcome gift, in lieu of the 500 points, thinking we would have breakfast at the hotel. That was the only miss-step we had - the breakfast was overpriced at $25 per person. There was a small buffet (oatmeal, scones, croissants, meats and cheeses, bread, fruit, and glasses half-filled with vogurt - with most of it practically empty) and you could get one egg dish cooked to order. The eggs came with nothing else on the plate. They discounted the buffet to $20 each for my status and then we got the additional $20 off - so the bill was $20. If we stay there again, I'll probably use the $20 in the market and eat breakfast elsewhere. All in all, we found it highly convenient for what we were in town to do. I would definitely stay there again if going to a show at Pier 17 and/or arriving by ferry.
