The location is excellent—everything I needed was conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The room and facilities were also very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. "Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. "Great place to stay in Fremantle - you can't get any more central than this place! Rooms were immaculate, staff very friendly, prices were relatively high but apparently normal for the Perth region. Breakfast was included but not very generous. As it is right in the centre of Fremantle - there are quite a few better breakfasts around only metres away, but obviously at additional cost. Would rate this five out if five if they made a bit more effort with the breakfasts!"

"Absolutely delightful hotel , even though rooms are a little smaller than most , everything was designed practically to ensure a comfortable stay . The room had all the necessities it needed including a nespresso coffee machine which makes it more inviting , along with free bottled water . Check in was a breeze even though we got there early the lovely young lady in reception took the bags to the room and was ready after we explored the area and arrived back closer to 2pm check in , The wine & cheese hour next door was a lovely experience yet again welcoming team ,cosy with a fire pit burning taking the chill off . 1 drink of choice & cheese then pay for anymore drinks which is fair .Breakfast even though simple as described locally sourced bread & a selection of toppings , accompanied by homemade muesli with greek yoghurt . It was just a light start but relaxed to enjoy and watch the world go by in a nice area with some history spread around . I would definitely stay again , well worth the price hassle free nothing was an issue . Bonus even though I didn't use free bike hire along with basic gym equipment if you felt the need to work out . Big thank you for such a great experience."

"The staff are super friendly and the hotel is really well located next to Fremantle Markets. Close to everything (shops, supermarkets, restaurants). However, there's music until midnight every day and the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. You can hear everything, even what the person in the next room is doing… so if you like to go to bed early, this isn't the place for you, or bring earplugs 🙉🙈 but for a night or two it's fine… The rooms are small but comfortable. There's a kettle with tea, coffee, and sugar, and milk and water in the fridge. There's a sink in the room, but the showers and toilets are on the landing. Overall, good, I recommend it for the location."

"An old hotel worth experiencing. There are many foods around. Italian street, very close to the port, the coast is beautiful. The historical precipitation of the room beauty + delicious tea bag coffee. On the top floor there is an open-air local favorite restaurant + bar that can see all sides of the city from a distance. Beautiful. There are also shopping facilities nearby. Recommended stay"

"Great stay at Warders Hotel. Breakfast and welcome drink provided. The location is great. Just opposite the Fremantle Market and beside the Fremantle Prison. Great for exploring Fremantle. Room is really nice decorated and clean. Mini bar is free which is a plus. And many highly rated restaurants nearby."

"very beautiful and chic hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. location is superb, near all the famous eateries, near to little creatures, and has awesome restaurant downstairs - vin populi. we also enjoyed the nearby bars - ode to siren, and the national."

"Budget ”hotel” very close to the train station. Great location, but the building is really old. Can hear people talk next door and the ground make a noise what wakes you up every time. Bathroom was really clean and lucky free everytime I took a shower. Internet was okay and room himself acceptable. Just the check in time and need to pay for the locker is a joke on this price point. I must call from my foreign number to get anyone to open the door at 9am ..."

"The room looked clean and was comfortable, but don’t be fooled—I spotted a few cockroaches in the room and at the rooftop hangout area. The lift was not working throughout my stay, so I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs without any assistance. A male staff member even walked past me during checkout without offering help—I had to ask, and he still delayed helping until I was almost at the bottom. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, and I had to remind reception to get the room cleaned on some days."
