"I love the decoration details in the hotel. Although the overall vibe is modern, there are traditional patterns everywhere. We were upgraded to a bigger room which is spacious with big windows looking over Snow Mountain Square. Some of the facilities are of good brand names such as Kohler and Dyson.
They offer welcome snacks which include popcorn, soda, potato chips, lollipops, Snickers, fruits… and also late night snacks that are more like a full meal (noodles, dumplings, or soup) - although these are only available after 9pm. The room came with 4 complimentary bottles of water. We could not go hungry there lol. The receptionist is friendly.
The bus from the hotel to the airport is 35 RMB per person (to compare, a Didi ride will cost you around 100-120 RMB). It is overall a good place to rest after Yading and before flying out.
Breakfast is quite simple (many options but hard to choose a good one). The butter tea was good though. In our room, the bottle that says “liquid soap” next to the sink seems to be hand lotion."

"I decided to stay here based on the good reviews online, but since I haven't stayed at other hotels, I can't say how good the value is. I've stayed at quite a few places on my solo trip, and this one was just average, aside from the hospitality. It's a bit out of town, but quieter. I ordered fruit online, but the store didn't offer any information. When I asked, they said they didn't have seasonal fruit and offered a souvenir instead. That was a far-fetched answer, as fruit shops are plentiful. I returned the souvenir. The bathroom was broken, the tiles were chipped, and the hair dryer was old-fashioned. Most importantly, the lighting was too dim."

It has a stunning location closer to the mountains than the lodging in Yading village which is both good (lots of quiet , better views) and not so good (rides into the village are needed). The service is excellent and very attentive. The rooms are top notch and have an exquisite ******* design. There is even an outdoor pool for the summer season. While the prices are fair for what one gets it does perhaps mean lower occupancy (at least on our visit). After staying three nights did not hesitate to book another stay"

"This hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, in town Daocheng. Not far from the dance square. You can walk 25-30 minutes from bus station during daytime (at night recommend Taxi). The hotel is only one block near the river and you can walk to the White Tower.
The hotel has a friendly staff, her name Tan Hongli (please use translator app to communicate in Chinese). She can assist you and always care for all client inhouse.
The room is large with tea reception area at window. Warm and comfort bed, hot shower is immediate when need.
I would recommend friends to this hotel, and repeat."

"The B&B's overall ambiance is amazing, with a strong ethnic vibe everywhere. The owner, a lovely lady, is incredibly gentle and kind, offering attentive and thoughtful service. She can help arrange travel tickets and tour itineraries. The location is superb, just a five or six-minute walk to the scenic area, and they even offer free shuttle service to and from town. The front desk staff patiently recommends local specialty dishes, making dining and getting around super convenient. I highly recommend it! Although I didn't take any pictures, I truly urge everyone to go; I promise I'm not a shill!"

Guest UserWe planned to spend a day and a half in Daocheng Yading, so staying in Yading Village saved us a lot of time. The lovely owner contacted us the night before, added us on WeChat, and explained how they handle luggage transfer. This meant we didn't have to worry about our bags and could fully enjoy the scenic area.
For those concerned about the high altitude in Yading Village, if you only experience mild altitude sickness, they offer free oxygen concentrators. There's also a cost-effective (paid) bedside oxygen supply available. It was very quiet at night, and the oxygen purity was sufficient for two people. The guesthouse even upgraded us to a room facing the snow-capped mountains, and we had a very peaceful night's sleep.
The room itself was quite spacious, decorated in a traditional ******* style. The breakfast was filling, and the owner was incredibly enthusiastic throughout our stay. All the ******* young men working there were friendly locals with beaming smiles.

Guest UserThe room facilities were great! There's a viewing platform downstairs perfect for catching the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' (a local scenic phenomenon). Transportation is super convenient too, with Station 1 right outside. After exploring the scenic area, they even helped us bring our stored luggage to the roadside so we could head straight down the mountain. Very thoughtful and helpful!

Guest UserThis guesthouse is a hidden gem in Yading Village. Its location at Station 3 is convenient yet quiet. It faces the majestic Xiannairi peak, perfect for photography enthusiasts who can capture the sunrise over Xiannairi and the golden sunset over Chanadorje from the rooftop.
For friends traveling together or families with children, you can relax on the lounge chairs outside the guesthouse's restaurant, facing the snow-capped mountains, and purify your soul. The rooms are equipped with oxygen supply, ensuring a comfortable stay at high altitudes. For families with children, you can head out for a short hike after checking in. The lake is calmer in the afternoon, and the reflections are clearer due to the angle of the light.
For those who love hiking, I highly recommend staying a night in Yading Village. This allows ample time for the long trail and helps you acclimatize better to the high altitude, ensuring you're in top form for hiking the next day.
The guesthouse also provides complimentary hiking poles, which is a thoughtful touch.
Overall, the experience was incredibly comfortable and offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Pongnarin LeelaumpikulThe sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation.
The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great.
The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.

This hotel has its issues. The overall location, sanitation, and environment are excellent, and the hostess's overall service was also excellent. But why did they give them a bad review for the service? I don't know if it's her son or her husband who's the one with the worst brains. I added him on WeChat to get an invoice, but I sent him a screenshot by mistake. I originally booked the wrong room type at this hotel, so I changed it, so I sent him the wrong screenshot. He got furious. The voicemail said I'd already checked out, so why would they issue an invoice? They're legally responsible, and then he blocked me. I tried to verify my identity by telling him that the screenshot was wrong and that I actually stayed at their hotel. He blocked me and refused to let me go. I'm just asking you for your bad temper. Working in the service industry, are you out of your mind?!

Guest UserValue for money. Exceptional hospitality. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was my second stayed after moved out from Yading Village. They greeting me with big smile. The couples also very helpful in getting me the transportation into the national park as well as to the airport. I had a very pleasant stayed towards entire journey and this place is highly recommended. Sometimes is the people who makes you remember the most.

The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs.
We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains.
Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map.
The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region.
