"My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's environment is serene and spotless, with an elegant lobby. My room was bright and airy, decorated in a simple yet stylish way, and every corner was immaculately clean. The facilities were comprehensive: the bedding was soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The staff were gentle and considerate; check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the hotel was quiet, not noisy, and conveniently located. It offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. Highly recommended!"

"I was here for a trip, and the hotel is only a four to five-minute walk from the border crossing. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with spacious rooms and a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. All the facilities are very new and complete. Parking is easy, and they even gave us a free room upgrade when we checked in. I highly recommend this hotel; its high level of comfort truly enhanced our trip."

"They upgraded my room for free, and it was much larger. One of the rooms even had a direct view of the China Customs building and the Clock Tower from the window. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and professional, and they even allowed us to check in early and check out late. The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are dated, but it's very clean, and the beds are spotless. There's a slight odor in the bathroom if you don't turn on the exhaust fan. The location is excellent, very close to the Customs building, and there's free parking available until 3 PM the next day. The travel agency downstairs was also great; we got our embassy visa the very next morning. It's very close to nearby attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery across the river with just a short walk. Friendly tip: When we first arrived, the Wi-Fi was constantly cutting out. A staff member came over, turned on the TV to test it, and after that, it worked perfectly without any lag. I'm not sure why, but it happened in both rooms."

"The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The front desk staff (specifically, the young lady) was warm and attentive. Breakfast offers a good variety, including rice noodles, regular noodles, fried eggs, and fruit. The chicken noodle soup (mǐxiàn) was particularly tasty. The restaurant next door serves delicious food at reasonable prices, and they even have dance and singing performances in the evenings. My only suggestion for improvement would be to enhance staff training to prevent incidents like someone entering the room with a key card without knocking first."

"This hotel offers an excellent location, very close to the border and within walking distance of many restaurants. The room was spacious and reasonably clean, providing a comfortable stay for a short visit. Staff members were kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. "The hygiene, service, decor, software and hardware facilities, and toiletries were all excellent 👍. Plus, the free pick-up service was a nice touch. I think they've really put a lot of effort into doing things well. Now, about breakfast. There weren't many vegetable options to begin with, but this morning, I arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 AM and most of the stir-fries were already gone. A staff member walked by the congee section at least three times. I waited 30 minutes, and it was almost 10:00 AM, but no one refilled the dishes. At least when it comes to vegetables, they could offer more. I understand they might be trying to control costs and avoid waste if there aren't many guests, but it wouldn't hurt to add one or two more vegetable dishes, or at least proactively ask guests if they'd like more. I don't think that's unreasonable. I hope the hotel's business flourishes. Regarding breakfast, they could learn from some smaller, well-run B&Bs and chain hotels to improve in this area without causing waste. Since the hotel is ranked as a high-end establishment on various platforms, it should really live up to that name."

"We stay here every time we cross into Vietnam. It’s reasonably priced, the staff is nice, and the breakfast is decent. It was much better in previous years but that’s to be expected. Less tourists go there these days post Covid."

"Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower. Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel. Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!"

"Great location, right in the heart of the main attractions. Everything is within walking distance, so no need for taxis. The hotel seems to be an older property that's been renovated, giving it a 'new wine in an old bottle' vibe, but the value for money is still pretty good. You can see the Sino-Vietnamese Railway Bridge directly across the street when you step out."
