Very Good
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. A special shout-out to the bedding, which was excellent. The duvet was soft and cozy, keeping me perfectly warm without being too hot or cold. The mattress was also just right, not too soft and not too firm. The restaurant recommended by the front desk staff was delicious.
YYulia.ๅฐๅฆClean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower.
Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel.
Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!
AAnwenhubI stayed in Hekou for several days and stayed in 3 hotels. Hekou Jiashang Business Hotel has the best hardware and software.
1. The parking lot is very large, and it can accommodate more than a dozen buses without any problem. RV tours and motorcycle tours can all come here. During my stay, I saw an RV traveling guy parked here for 2 nights.
2. The room is clean, tidy and big. There are chairs for simple working.
3. Because it opened this year, the bed sheets, duvet covers and pillows are all new, including bath towels. The quality is similar to that used in mid-range hotels. You can tell by touching it.
3. I care about whether the bath water is hot or not, whether the water flow is strong or not, and whether the floor drain leaks quickly. Hekou Jiashang Hotel did not disappoint me in these aspects.
4. The shampoo and shower gel can only be said to be average, but at this price, I donโt dare to expect too much ๐. I think hotels must have a small bar of soap. I remember this one has it.
5. The hotel is quiet. In addition, there are two time-honored restaurants on the right side of the door, which I think are very good.
Finally, the small town at the mouth of the river has very good conditions in terms of tourism, food and trade. It has something to offer. If it is built well, it will definitely attract many Chinese and Vietnamese tourists. It is a pity that it has no characteristics now. It is really a pity.
GGuest UserThey upgraded my room for free, and it was much larger. One of the rooms even had a direct view of the China Customs building and the Clock Tower from the window. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and professional, and they even allowed us to check in early and check out late. The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are dated, but it's very clean, and the beds are spotless. There's a slight odor in the bathroom if you don't turn on the exhaust fan. The location is excellent, very close to the Customs building, and there's free parking available until 3 PM the next day. The travel agency downstairs was also great; we got our embassy visa the very next morning. It's very close to nearby attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery across the river with just a short walk.
Friendly tip: When we first arrived, the Wi-Fi was constantly cutting out. A staff member came over, turned on the TV to test it, and after that, it worked perfectly without any lag. I'm not sure why, but it happened in both rooms.
GGuest UserNice place to stay, a bit far from the border but inside the Main Street of hekou, with merchs and restaurants all around the place. The room is on the 4 floor and they just stairs. The internet is not so good due to the border problem, but the rest is perfect ๐
SShanJun1998A fantastic tropical view hotel experience โ pure bliss!
This tropical hotel I stayed at completely exceeded my expectations; it was an absolute gem!
The hotel's environment was impeccable. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, with trees in full bloom everywhere, a gentle breeze carrying the delicate fragrance of flowers, and the melodious chirping of birds โ it felt like staying in a natural oxygen bar, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing my mind and body to relax instantly. The cleanliness was also reassuring. The room was spotless, the bedding was white, soft, and odorless, and every detail โ the bathroom, desks, and corners โ was impeccably clean. Even the tables and chairs on the terrace were dust-free, demonstrating the staff's dedication.
The view was absolutely stunning! Opening the balcony door revealed a vast expanse of tropical coconut palms, with the azure coastline visible in the distance. Waking up to the sunrise and watching the sunset paint the sky in shades of orange and pink โ every snapshot was a masterpiece, requiring no filter. Whether enjoying tea on the room's terrace or relaxing by the hotel's panoramic pool, the soothing tropical scenery is simply breathtaking!
The location is also a huge plus; you can see the Red River from your window and Vietnam across the river. Transportation is convenient, and you can easily step outside to experience tropical streets and sample local delicacies. In short, the environment, cleanliness, and scenery are all impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next tropical trip!
GGuest UserThe five-star praise is for the boss. The service is enthusiastic. The child's phone and watch were forgotten and were left at the front desk for us. The hotel is very close to the port, but the room facilities are a bit older. I just went to check in, so I can stay here for a while.
ฤฤแป MinhThe owner is super friendly even though she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Chinese. Once she understands what we want, she will try her best to serve. One member in our group was sick and the owner is very kind to give us ginger and honey when we ask.
The room is clean and quite large for two people. It's totally enough for our group's simple style.
The only disadvantage is it's not near the downtown and may take your time to find out if you do not speak Chinese. But overall for us the experience was still great because we enjoy riding electric bicycle around.
YYipianyouyadeyunThe room is consistent with the description online. You need to take a taxi to get from the train station and it is located in the garden in the middle of the street. It's an old house, the sanitary facilities are average, the towels and quilts are old, the proprietress is very welcoming, and the room door leaks air. The advantage is that it is convenient for traveling, but the disadvantage is that there is singing in the square in the street garden at night, and the loudspeaker is very loud, and it is quiet only after 12 o'clock in the middle of the night!
GGuest UserIt is right at the Hekou Port, and by the river, with Vietnam across the way. The room is quiet, clean and tidy. It is an elevator room, very quiet and independent. It does not have massages and other promotions like many hotels. It is quite suitable for staying quietly in Hekou. There are many Vietnamese delicacies nearby. It is very comfortable and good! I don't know why there are no reviews for such a cost-effective B&B!
