"The hotel is in a very good location with convenient transportation. The food street, leisure and shopping are nearby and can be reached in just a few minutes. There is a large parking lot downstairs. The room is spacious, bright, clean and tidy. The large floor-to-ceiling windows make it very comfortable for the sunlight to shine in. The room is well-equipped. The key point is that the curtains are smart, the switch is on the bedside, there is light music playing in the room, and you can also connect to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. After a tiring day, falling asleep listening to soothing music is so relaxing. The free tea and coffee taste great. There are free toilet seats in the bathroom, which is very considerate for me, who is a germophobe. The large floor-to-ceiling glass in the corridor is very bright. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and I feel very comfortable. Patiently introduce local food and leisure and entertainment places."

"During this stay, the hotel's room cleanliness and facilities were commendable; housekeeping was thorough, and the living amenities were up to par.
All deductions come from the service. Upon arriving, I saw staff members and partners at the entrance privately discussing guests, which made me, as a passing guest, feel very uncomfortable.
At the front desk, we simply asked politely if a room upgrade was possible, with no complaints or arguments whatsoever. However, the manager who arrived reacted very emotionally, immediately bringing up complaints in a rather aggressive tone, startling both my wife and the on-site staff.
As customers, we were only asking a normal question and deserved a calm conversation, not an over-the-top reaction. The hotel has a good foundation in terms of hardware; if the management's service communication could improve, the experience would be much better!"

I have stayed in a B&B that understands the ritual of life the most. It has a free bathhouse, bath, large pool, sauna, back scrubbing, and milk salt massage. It is very comfortable and the room price is not high. It is a B&B that is highly recommended. Overall, it is not bad and satisfactory in all aspects.

Angel_333The hotel's facilities made me wonder if the owner was an amateur. First, the signal indicator near the air conditioner was extremely bright at night, like a nightlight, making for a very poor sleep experience. Second, the hotel rooms had marble floors, but there was no doormat at the bathroom entrance, making it easy to slip after washing up. Third, the towel rack was directly above the toilet, making it easy to drop towels into the toilet while showering. Fourth, in 2025, having only a washing machine and no dryer is practically the same as not having a laundry room at all. Fifth, it's clearly a transit point for senior tour groups traveling from Northern Xinjiang to the Ili loop, so the entire hotel was incredibly noisy. This isn't the hotel's fault, but the fact is, the senior tour groups were very noisy, easily waking us up at night and in the morning. In short, I don't recommend it.

Guest UserChoosing the GreenTree Inn Museum Branch for our drive through the Duku Highway was a fantastic decision! The location is truly unbeatable – right outside is the Duku Highway Museum, so we didn't have to rush the next morning to hit the road. Plus, there are restaurants and convenience stores all along the street, making dining and shopping incredibly easy.
The room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with no dust or odd smells. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistently strong. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, so we had a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were quick to check us in, very friendly and helpful, even recommending local food spots and offering tips for our Duku Highway trip!

The room is clean and odorless, with complete facilities. The tea bags provided taste good. There is a business district under construction nearby, so it is quiet and not noisy. There is a convenience store downstairs, and it is not far from the business district. It takes only a short drive to get there, and there is no shortage of parking spaces. The breakfast is also rich and delicious. The service attitude is pretty good. It is recommended to use some coffee-flavored aromatherapy or styling to highlight the characteristics of the hotel.

Nelson&LilyWe are in Karamay specifically for visiting the legendary Big Oil Bubbles 大油泡. After 大油泡 we checked in this hotel which is within walking distance of 汇嘉广场. Thankfully we get to try the delicious and fresh steamed fish 冷水鱼on our way back to the hotel after the fireworks show of lanterns festival at 世纪公园🎉

Facilities: This B&B has a single-family bungalow ➕ courtyard layout, which is quite unique! The staff told us that the house was renovated from a former faculty dormitory, and it had a sense of age. In order to maintain the feeling of that era, they did not change the appearance of the dormitory and turned the room into a B&B. The house looks old but has all modern facilities inside. The air conditioning and hot water are very good. I especially like the large bathroom and the shower 🚿 (this is the shower with the best water I have ever used during my trip to Xinjiang!). The mattress here is moderately soft and hard, which is very friendly to me who doesn’t like to sleep on soft beds😂
Hygiene: The room is very hygienic. However, since it is a bungalow and the surrounding plants are lush, there will be bugs in the house. We killed several bugs and mosquitoes.
Environment: This B&B has a feeling of going home. The yard is also made like an auto repair shop, with well-arranged car parts. The four of us booked a double room and a double room, which could fit into a bungalow. If you only live in one room, you may need to share a bungalow with other residents, and the sound insulation in a bungalow is not very good (that is, the family can shout in this room to the extent that the person in the opposite room can answer). If you are concerned, please confirm with the staff in advance~

LuluyaI highly recommend the Mowgli City Tancheng Hotel! It's super close to the Devil's City (Wuerhe Ghost City), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The Western-style architecture creates an amazing atmosphere, and there are photo opportunities everywhere within the resort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated with a full Xinjiang ethnic flair. The staff are warm and attentive, even proactively sharing tips for exploring the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, including a parking lot and EV charging stations, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. This was a super restorative night during our road trip through Northern Xinjiang – definitely the top choice when visiting Wuerhe!
