"My first stop in Northern Xinjiang this New Year was the long-awaited Snow Lotus Hotel. Due to renovations in the VIP building, I stayed in the Welcome Building this time. To my surprise, the room was larger than expected, with new facilities and incredibly warm underfloor heating – so warm that I had to open the windows for ventilation at night. Overall, a nice experience. I was particularly impressed by the half-price Snow Lotus coffee at the first-floor café; it was absolutely delicious."

The room had a warm, natural wood theme, with soft colors that instantly created a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was clean and soft, allowing me to unwind immediately. The tea table and tea set by the window were a thoughtful touch; brewing a pot of tea at leisure created a wonderful ambiance. The little dragonfly decoration on the wall was also a nice touch, adding a touch of gentleness to the details.

The separate wet and dry areas were very practical. "Surrounded by a street of hotels, they are all newly opened hotels. I lived in Licheng in Kuitun. I felt that the bedding was particularly comfortable. I chose this one in Karamay. The price is more favorable than other levels. After arriving at the store, we upgraded the room type for free and sent breakfast. It was a surprise. The hotel is newly opened and the facilities are intelligent. The bathroom top spray is very powerful, quite Hansgrohe feeling. The bath is very happy, the bedding is comfortable, it is really an important part of the journey. In addition, although it is a newly opened hotel in 26 years, there is no decoration in the room. However, I still make a small suggestion. The glass door of the shower room is all big footprints and there is a lot of gray. It is estimated that the decoration is not completely cleaned."

XiaotianlaotianI rarely leave reviews, but this stay far exceeded my expectations, and I'd feel bad not giving it a good rating. Upon check-in, two enthusiastic and down-to-earth young men from Xinjiang helped with our luggage and guided us all the way to our room, even recommending some great local restaurants.
The room itself was truly astonishing. The bathroom alone was almost as big as some small hotel rooms. The room was incredibly spacious, huge, and super clean – very comfortable. It's a shame our trip was so rushed; we had to leave early in the morning for Sayram Lake and didn't get to enjoy such a comfortable room for longer.
The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, and the restaurant staff were also warm and genuine, which made the experience very pleasant. I was in a hurry and forgot to take photos of the room and breakfast. I did manage to snap some pictures of the hotel courtyard, though – it's a garden-style hotel, and the surroundings are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable.
Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience, far beyond what I expected. Thank you.

LuluyaI highly recommend the Mowgli City Tancheng Hotel! It's super close to the Devil's City (Wuerhe Ghost City), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The Western-style architecture creates an amazing atmosphere, and there are photo opportunities everywhere within the resort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated with a full Xinjiang ethnic flair. The staff are warm and attentive, even proactively sharing tips for exploring the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, including a parking lot and EV charging stations, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. This was a super restorative night during our road trip through Northern Xinjiang – definitely the top choice when visiting Wuerhe!
