"A truly perfect experience! Although we encountered Yunnan's unusually rainy season, we decided to make the best of it, and thanks to the strong recommendation from friends who had visited the previous year, we arrived at Shujia Luoguqing Joint Homestay with high expectations. The staff are all local Pumi people, incredibly kind and simple, greeting us warmly whenever we met them on the road. Our guide, Asheng, and our housekeeper, Xiaolandandan, provided us with meticulous care and attention. Even though the government had announced that hiking was impossible due to damaged trails, Asheng still led us on a small, safe loop. In the afternoon, he even tirelessly took us mushroom picking. And he's a true expert at identifying mushrooms; we were lucky enough to find a giant matsutake mushroom. The children were overjoyed. Although there was no bonfire party due to the weather, the staff sang a Pumi welcoming song together, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We chatted and had a wonderful time. According to the staff, the most lively time here is the local Valentine's Day on the fifth day of the fifth ***** month, followed by the Spring Festival. Looking forward to our next visit!"

It is like a small isolated utopia. The homestay is in a Yi village in the mountains. There are many walnut trees in the village, and there are hundreds of years of wild walnut trees. When we went, the walnut trees had already grown a lot and not yet mature. Walnuts, there are some pepper trees and flakes of corn grown by villagers in the village.
