"The room was spacious and bright, with high ceilings, and a modern, newly renovated design with sophisticated color schemes. The staff were all professional and enthusiastic. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including local specialties, and the restaurant on the 28th floor had fantastic views. There were no strange odors in the room. The only minor drawback was sharing elevators with the H Hotel, which sometimes led to longer waits or crowded rides. Fortunately, you need to use a key card for the elevators, and the Four Points rooms are all on higher floors. The area downstairs was lively, and getting to attractions like Ziyang Street required a taxi, which was quite convenient."

"Newly renovated, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and even the toilet seats are heated, which is a really nice touch. From the second-floor balcony, you can see three towers directly, and enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening is absolutely delightful. The guesthouse's location is also excellent; turn right and a 3-minute walk takes you to a local wet market, which has a wonderful vibe. Turn left, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Ziyang Street. Food and drinks are all within easy reach. Plus, the guide the owner sent us was super helpful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely stay here again next time. When we checked in, they even gave each of us a cup of grass jelly drink, which was a very warm welcome."

"This hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds."

"Although the facade isn't grand, it's not hard to find. The room was bright, and being on a high floor, offered expansive views directly facing Intime Department Store. It's also not far from the old town. Atour, as always, was clean and tidy, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly."

"This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!"

"I just checked out of the July Hotel this morning, so let me give you some practical feedback. First, I'm extremely satisfied with the front desk service. I forgot my charger, and they got it for me twice. However, I would also like to suggest they increase the variety of chargers they stock. These days, most hotels provide chargers in their rooms, and hotels in tourist cities should have this standard. Regarding the location, the Yintai branch is incredibly convenient. It's just steps from Yintai City, so if you want to eat or shop, it's within easy reach. In the evening, if you want some skewers or a milk tea, you can just stroll downstairs. For someone who loves to wander around, this location is impeccable. As for the hotel itself, the exterior looks quite modern, with a minimalist black, white, and gray color scheme. The lobby feels quite bright and spacious. The corridors have a wooden finish and thick carpets, so walking around is quiet, which I especially appreciate, as I won't be disturbed by footsteps outside. The room door is smart; you can open it with a room card or sensor, which gives it a high-tech feel. The first impression upon entering the room is its newness; the hotel was clearly recently renovated, lacking the musty or outdated feel of older hotels – a crucial point. The room's amenities are quite practical. The large TV is embedded in the wall, looking very grand, and there's a small coffee table and orange stools nearby, creating a vibrant color scheme. The smart control panel is by the door, allowing for one-touch operation of the air conditioning, lights, etc., which is incredibly convenient for lazy people. The bedding is soft to the touch and features the smart smart speaker. However, there are some minor details to mention. The small table in the room is a bit small; if you want to spread out a laptop for work or store a bunch of snacks, the space is a bit cramped. Also, the bathroom ventilation, while not odorous, could be improved. Most importantly, the soft furnishings need upgrading. From a professional perspective, a word of caution: Last night, when I checked in again, the female and male receptionists didn't verify my room number before opening the door based on the room number I provided. If I had made a mistake, it could have been a serious problem for the hotel. Therefore, the front desk must always verify customer information, including the names of accompanying persons. Just a suggestion."

"This stay at Linhai was a wonderful experience. We went to the hotel reception desk hoping to change to a twin room, but they were very friendly and upgraded us. They also provided us with noodles and milk for dinner. They also promptly provided ice cubes for the bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. They even provided foot bath bags, allowing us to soak while enjoying the night view. This was the first pleasant surprise. The second pleasant surprise was the bowl of noodles we had in the evening. Having eaten too much at Rong Xiaoguan, we decided to try the noodles at the hotel. We ordered the vegetarian noodles, which were surprisingly delicious. They were surprisingly satisfying. Even with a full stomach, we ate one bowl and still wanted more. The breakfast the next day was excellent, combining local Linhai flavors with the standard amenities of most hotels. The taste was also quite good. The pool was not crowded during the day and looked clean, making it a great place for the kids to play in the water. Overall, the experience was positive, and I would definitely stay at Yuanzhou again when visiting Linhai."
