"The room was spacious with a great view. The best part, however, was the service. They upgraded our room for free upon arrival and even gave us a complimentary kids' breakfast. I forgot something and they proactively contacted me to help mail it back. Thumbs up to Luly! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"

"Newly renovated, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and even the toilet seats are heated, which is a really nice touch. From the second-floor balcony, you can see three towers directly, and enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening is absolutely delightful. The guesthouse's location is also excellent; turn right and a 3-minute walk takes you to a local wet market, which has a wonderful vibe. Turn left, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Ziyang Street. Food and drinks are all within easy reach. Plus, the guide the owner sent us was super helpful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely stay here again next time. When we checked in, they even gave each of us a cup of grass jelly drink, which was a very warm welcome."

"This hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds."

"The cleanliness was impeccable! There was no unpleasant odor upon entering, the bed linens were spotless, and the floors and tabletops were dust-free. Even the corners of the bathroom were perfectly clean, with no hair or water stains visible. The cleaning staff came on time every day, and when changing the linens, they were gentle and didn't disturb my rest. They also proactively asked if I needed any extra amenities. The service was incredibly thoughtful."

"This is a hidden gem in a prime location near the city wall of Linhai. It’s a converted hutong down a side street and is well signposted. The receptionist didn’t speak English but we communicated via an app and she was so helpful. The room was spacious with satin sheets. The bathroom was clean and had hot water instantly for showering. "I stayed at this hotel for over twenty days on a business trip and had a pretty good experience. The hotel's surroundings are excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining options, including many local specialty snacks nearby. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and answered all my questions in detail. There's a laundry room and restaurant on the first floor; the breakfast was good, although the selection wasn't extensive, it was clean and hygienic. The hotel rooms were clean and hygienic, and despite being a new hotel, there were no unpleasant odors. The rooms were well soundproofed, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. For someone like me who travels frequently, a hot shower and a good night's sleep after a long day of work are paramount. Every day when I returned to the hotel, the front desk staff greeted me with warm welcomes and smiles, making me feel right at home. This hotel will be my first choice for my next business trip to Linhai."

"The platform brushed to this hotel, the door was inconspicuous, after the stay was a surprise, the room design was reasonable, the lighting was especially commendable, comfortable and warm. "It's my first time to visit Linhai. I booked a family room. The hotel is conveniently located, the environment is comfortable, there is free parking, rich breakfast, and it is very convenient to order takeout. There are also robots delivering meals to your door."

"This stay at Linhai was a wonderful experience. We went to the hotel reception desk hoping to change to a twin room, but they were very friendly and upgraded us. They also provided us with noodles and milk for dinner. They also promptly provided ice cubes for the bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. They even provided foot bath bags, allowing us to soak while enjoying the night view. This was the first pleasant surprise. The second pleasant surprise was the bowl of noodles we had in the evening. Having eaten too much at Rong Xiaoguan, we decided to try the noodles at the hotel. We ordered the vegetarian noodles, which were surprisingly delicious. They were surprisingly satisfying. Even with a full stomach, we ate one bowl and still wanted more. The breakfast the next day was excellent, combining local Linhai flavors with the standard amenities of most hotels. The taste was also quite good. The pool was not crowded during the day and looked clean, making it a great place for the kids to play in the water. Overall, the experience was positive, and I would definitely stay at Yuanzhou again when visiting Linhai."
