"The hotel completely exceeded our expectations! It was spotlessly clean, and they even upgraded our room to a corner unit with two windows when we arrived at 11 AM. We had a very comfortable night's stay, and the room layout was excellent. The next day, I accidentally lost my ID during checkout, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, searching everywhere for it. They even express-mailed it to my address in another city free of charge. I was so touched! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit."

"Although it's a guesthouse, the overall facilities and service are beyond 5-star. The hotel is a renovated historic ticket office. You enter through a bookstore and pass a long corridor to reach the front desk. As soon as I checked in, the front desk upgraded me to a suite, which immediately made a great impression. To maintain privacy, the hotel has a security gate, and only registered guests can access the residential area with their key cards. That's another plus! My room was on the third floor, accessible by elevator. The room was very spacious, and the bedding was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm. Stepping out of the room, you could see a large public terrace. Looking out, I could admire the lush, natural scenery of the distant mountains, which was absolutely refreshing. While the breakfast variety wasn't as extensive as a 5-star hotel, it was still very plentiful and, more importantly, much more thoughtful and heartfelt than typical hotel breakfasts. Many local snacks were carefully selected and ordered by the hotel, such as Wang Tianshun's seaweed cakes, an old brand's wontons from the market, Sanhe & Simei's fermented tofu, freshly fried mini fritters, and local noodles. The coffee was also excellent. Because the breakfast was so uniquely local and delicious, I ended up eating a lot every morning! The hotel's location is also very central. Longxing Temple, Ziyang Street, and the entrance to the ancient city wall are all nearby. There are also many local restaurants around the hotel, offering plenty of choices. Yet, the hotel itself manages to be a tranquil oasis in the bustling city, and my room was very quiet. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Linhai!"

The guesthouse features balconies, a tea room, and there's a washing machine and dryer available in the courtyard. Its location is excellent, being very close to Ziyang Street, Longxing Temple, and the Xinghan Gate of the city wall! If you're planning a trip to Shenxianju, you can take an early morning taxi to Linhai South Station, catch a high-speed train to Xianju South Station, and then take another taxi directly to Shenxianju. It's perfectly doable as a day trip, so there's no need to stay overnight there. If you're ever in Linhai, Taizhou, this is absolutely the place to stay! :)"

"After checking in, I discovered bloodstains on the bedding. This is a severe hygiene failure on the hotel's part, and they should have immediately apologized, offered a room change, and tried to appease me. Instead, this hotel did the complete opposite – instead of solving the problem first, they busied themselves reviewing surveillance footage and making excuses to shirk responsibility, eventually leading to the police being called. When the owner finally arrived, he showed a complete lack of concern, no apology, no attempt to make amends. This kind of handling doesn't just alienate one guest; it completely undermines the reputation and basic standards of Linhai City and branded hotels alike."

We were very satisfied with our accommodation during this Linhai trip. As the saying goes, 'when the granaries are full, people understand propriety and moderation,' and Linhai's economic prosperity has fostered the warmth and generosity of its people. The hotel proprietress is hospitable and welcoming, and the staff are enthusiastic and dutiful, providing us with an excellent stay. By the way, the proprietress also recommended Room 203 in the quadrangle courtyard, which is even better—flowers blooming outside the window, with a gentle fragrance. 👍"
