"This stay had several thoughtful touches that absolutely deserve a 5-star rating.
1. There were nearly 10 bottles of water in the room. While other hotels might offer water, it's rare to find so many proactively placed in the room.
2. In the morning, due to heavy snow closing the highway, we had to turn back. Even though we had already checked out, the front desk attendant was incredibly understanding and let us use our room key again to rest for a while.
3. Before we left, and after we had already returned our key and checked out, they generously lent us an umbrella so we could go out for breakfast. This level of trust made us feel incredibly welcome."

"Highly recommend this LICHEN hotel if you're visiting Tekes Bagua City! It's about a 10-minute walk from the Taiji Altar, so the location is excellent, and parking is convenient. Even before entering, you're greeted by a lovely floral scent. The hotel lobby has a grand, high-ceiling design. The room was very clean, and the smart home features allow you to control curtains, lights, and the TV with your voice. The separate wet/dry bathroom with a smart toilet was a fantastic experience. I originally planned to stay one night and then head to Nileke, but this LICHEN hotel was so comfortable that I decided to extend my stay for another day to relax."

"Having stayed in various accommodations along the Ili loop in winter, I can confidently say this hotel offers incredibly poor value for money. For 1600, even with a suite upgrade, its flaws are glaring:
1. There's no distinct front desk; it's integrated with the restaurant. It's priced like a luxury retreat but feels more like a homestay.
2. No shuttle service whatsoever. We relied entirely on walking, and while a butler helped with luggage, it was still inconvenient. Other camps in the area provide shuttle transfers.
3. The underfloor heating was inadequate. Although they responded promptly when we reported it, which was good, it broke down again in the middle of the night after being fixed. This left the room freezing, and we all started showing cold symptoms.
4. Breakfast was abysmal. For a 1700-priced stay, the breakfast quality was comparable to a 200-dollar hotel.
All in all, this is the worst value-for-money hotel I encountered on the winter Ili loop. Aside from the decent environment, the price simply isn't justified. I hope the owner takes the time to learn from other camps in the same price range. I'm quite disappointed and have already reported my honest feedback to the platform."

"5-star recommendation. The guesthouse is located behind the All Seasons Hotel, but its environment and facilities are just as good. The surrounding environment is quiet and beautiful, especially the guesthouse's courtyard, which has a very stylish design and is immediately eye-catching. The facilities are all new, with no renovation smell, even though it's been open for 25 years. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the complimentary drinks are local specialties and delicious! The price is affordable and offers great value for money. During Xinjiang's peak tourist season, hotels often cost 700-800 yuan, so this place is much more cost-effective. And the owner's service is impeccable! We arrived around midnight, and before we even parked the car, the owner was already waiting to help us with our luggage, guide us to parking, and after registration, he led our suitcases to the door! When we left, we asked the owner for dried apricot drinks, and he gave us two extra bottles to take with us. And here's the important part!!! We originally planned to stay another night, but when we told the owner, they said the rooms were fully booked for the following day. We were worried about where to find another place like this, but the owner recommended his friend's guesthouse. The environment was comparable, and the location was just two streets away. They even gave us apricots to eat when we arrived, and recommended the food at Baguazhen – everything was great!
A little tip: If you want to stay at Shengyang Huajian but it's fully booked, you can call the owner to see if his friend has any rooms available; however, I highly recommend booking Shengyang Huajian in advance, because I really like it, haha."

At 6 o'clock in the morning, I found that my child had a fever, and I forgot to bring the thermometer. I called the boss for help, and the boss got up immediately (friends who are familiar with Xinjiang will know how early 6 o'clock is in Xinjiang). It turned out that the cap of the thermometer was not tightened before, and it fell to the ground and broke when I took it. I thought I could only wait until 9 o'clock when the pharmacy opened to buy a new one. A few minutes later, the boss called and said that he would drive to my home in the county to get me a new one. It would take more than half an hour to go back and forth. I am so grateful to the boss. After taking the child's temperature, he gave him medicine in time. As for the B&B itself, the room is clean and tidy, and there is no problem with hot water for bathing. There is a pavilion in the yard, which is very pleasant to sit for a while in summer. The owner also let the children pick a few tomatoes grown by themselves, which is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is cooked by the family. The home-cooked breakfast is very comfortable to eat. The egg pancakes are baked very well, and the steamed buns are also very skilled. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise on the mountain and watch the sun gradually fill Tekes County. RRakdoiWe had a great stay here at Xinyejian Homestay! The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a radiator and heated bed so we never felt cold at all. The hosts were also friendly, attentive and caring, they responded quickly on WeChat, and helped us arrange for a driver to Qiongkushitai and back to Tekes as we did not drive our own car. They also recommended a very good horseman who brought the horses right to the homestay to begin horse riding to Sunwu Road and Gaoshan Hu. We went in the first week of September and the grass was still green, there are slopes at the back and next to the homestay with occasional grazing sheep, horses and cows to explore. It is at a good location, between the entrance to the back mountains and Qiongkushitai village/ Wusun road, the walk on foot is about 20 minutes each way. The hosts also sent us walking route directions and offered to send us by car to the back mountains, he also picked us up from the village car park on our first day. At night we could see the Milky Way and the stars, and it is very quiet at night. The hosts also prepare a daily breakfast and we ordered a yummy dinner as well on one of our nights there. Would recommend everyone to choose this homestay.

It is said that there is also a private grassland, which is beautiful, but unfortunately there is no chance to try.
The restaurant is very beautiful, there are windows on all sides, and the windows are paintings. The main Sichuan cuisine is authentic. There is also bartender, but unfortunately the bartender is not there and there is no taste.
