"I was on a business trip to Weishan Ancient Town for a few days and was attracted to this guesthouse by the pictures on its homepage. The reality was exactly the same as the pictures – very nice and full of ancient charm! The old wooden building with its arched doorways, the small pond in the courtyard with koi, and the many potted plants in the yard all showed how carefully they've been maintained!
What impressed me most was the staff's attitude. They greeted me whenever I came or went, and even shared fruit and roasted tea – it felt as relaxed as visiting a friend's house! They also promptly helped resolve any small issues (superb!)."

The host is very kind and welcoming. He speaks english and is always available to provide helpful information, assist in any way he can, or just to have a chat.

"Thank you for your hospitality during my two-night stay. You were incredibly kind and helpful, both when I arrived before check-in time and when I checked in again after exploring the ancient city. The owner patiently listened to my broken Chinese and spoke slowly and clearly using short phrases, so communication was never a problem.
The cleanliness and amenities were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. My room was near the entrance on the first floor, so I wondered if the noise of people coming and going at night might be a concern, but it wasn't a problem at all.
On the day of check-out, when I mentioned I would be leaving early in the morning, they told me to leave my room card at the counter and that the hotel entrance door would be open, so I could just leave.
However, when I left my room at 5 AM the next morning, the lights were on at the entrance and the door was clearly slightly ajar. I think they were being considerate because it was still dark. I left Weishan Ancient City with a warm feeling in my heart. Thank you very much.
I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"The price was reasonable, and the courtyard inside was quite deep. The soundproofing seemed average, but I guess it was the off-season, so you could barely hear anything at night. This is hands down the most comfortable guesthouse I've ever stayed at in Weishan Ancient City!
🌿 **Regarding the Environment:** The Wabi-sabi design truly captivated me! The entire space is clean and elegant, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere. Both the common areas and the rooms are quiet and therapeutic, making it my ideal serene retreat.
👨🍳 **Regarding the Owner's Service:** I have to give the owner a huge thumbs up! Not only did they proactively offer pick-up and drop-off service, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around, but they also specially hand-brewed a cup of coffee for me when I left, which was both heartwarming and a pleasant surprise. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly attentive, helping me solve any issues promptly. It felt just like visiting a friend's home.
In short, both the environment and service at this guesthouse are impeccable. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Weishan! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves peace and quiet and seeks quality experiences~"

First of all, the location is superior and the transportation is convenient. The hotel is located in the core area of Lushan County's transportation. It is only a ten-minute walk from the high-speed rail station and the ancient city pedestrian street. The surrounding business district is mature and has all kinds of dining and shopping. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, travel is extremely convenient.
The second is the warm and thoughtful service and home away from home. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff smiled and checked in efficiently and quickly. More intimately, they took the initiative to ask about my preferences for the room orientation and floor, and helped upgrade the ideal room. During my stay, the room attendant asked me every day about the experience and responded to everything, and added two more bottles of water and a set of toiletries for me. This meticulous care makes people feel warm.
Moreover, the room is clean and comfortable, and the facilities are humane. Pushing open the door, the bedding is white and flat. "The most satisfying accommodation on this trip. The room was very warm, the lighting was very good, and the curtains were opened and it felt very transparent. The whole is clean and refreshing, the air conditioning and hot water are strong, the bath water pressure is large, and it is especially relieved to take a hot bath after a day of playing. "The experience is really far beyond expectations! Before you check in on the same day, you will contact you to pick up and drop off. It is really intimate, and then you will find it a surprise after you check in! All kinds of disposable items are very practical and high-quality! Even plastic slippers are cleaned and disinfected and then packaged in a bag for guests to use! A friend was directly amway by this slippers! It really makes people feel full of intimate! Disposable slippers are super thick! Mineral water is taken casually in the public area! The quality of disposable toiletries is very good! The family suite is really full of surprises! It's really cool to open the projector and lie on the bed with music! It is highly recommended to stay in Yunlinju! Next time you come to Lushan and live in their home!"

The beginning of the story stems from a window, brushing Xiao Mou book when I was fascinated by the scenery outside the window, think about opening my eyes every morning and opening the curtains is such a scene, how happy it should be...
Later, I did my homework seriously, and added the boss (actually the little sister) WeChat to consult some questions, and confirmed this homestay without hesitation.
The day of check-in was simply beyond expectations. It was really the real scene as shown in the picture. The boss’s little sister was really cute and patient. The small body had a lot of energy. The luggage was not in the words. All kinds of daily necessities were available, and the daily supply was also in place. Emphasis is placed on providing disposable bath towels and slippers!
You can drink tea and coffee in the yard of the hotel. It is really suitable for urban cattle to empty... Finally, I have to emphasize that the bedding of this homestay (and blackout curtains) is the most comfortable one I sleep in during my trip to Yunnan!

GGuest UserStaying four times in a row for three consecutive years, you can see the absolute affirmation of Minyue Xiaozhu! The location is excellent, one step away from the bustling ancient city; if you don't want to be too noisy, it is also very comfortable to bask in the sun, drink tea and chat in the yard. I want to move it, there is a table tennis table on the first floor, and the whole family likes it very much. By the way, the beautiful boss and family are very friendly, and the sugar water and rice cakes on the first day of the new year are very amazing!

Aallison1215The service was impeccable. I had booked a pick-up service from the high-speed rail station, and a staff member was waiting at the exit with a pick-up sign. A Mercedes-Benz van picked me up. Sometimes they even take you directly to the high-speed rail station. This is much more convenient for people who don't drive. The building is a century-old Jinshi Mansion; you could easily spend half a day exploring the hotel itself. You can also feed alpacas, see peacocks, and feed goldfish. There's also a succulent garden in the back. A newly opened café, Yunxi Cafe, has several Shiba Inus at the back entrance.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

Curtains perfectly blocked the light.
Hot shower with proper water pressure.
However, toilet was annoying. It is as loud as one on the airplane, and auto flushes as soon as you move a little bit. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for amenities too.
Service was great, and I can easily compare it to 4 stars hotels in big cities.
For a foreigner, check in took about 40 seconds, which is super fast.
Roof has a nice terrace with tables.

ZZhangsan…The room has good lighting and good hygiene. It's not far from the ancient city. The girls in the store are very friendly and helpful. They even pick you up at the high-speed rail station. There's an elevator, so you don't have to worry about not being able to carry your luggage, haha...
