From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

A wonderful stay with exceptional service We had a very enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed and very comfortable, with lovely sea views and excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic, and we were very grateful for the generous upgrade. The hotel also prepared a lovely anniversary surprise for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed the evening turndown service, something we do not encounter very often and which added a nice five-star touch to the stay. The dinner buffet was another highlight. We were impressed by both the quality and variety of the food. The 22nd-floor Executive Lounge also deserves a special mention. It is a beautiful space with wonderful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We took quite a few photos because we enjoyed the setting so much, and it is definitely somewhere we would recommend other guests experience. Most importantly, we would like to specifically recognise Merry. She was exceptional throughout our stay — warm, professional, patient and genuinely attentive. From helping with our room arrangements to checking on us throughout the stay, we always felt that she sincerely cared about our experience. Service like this makes a significant difference and is one of the main things we will remember about this hotel. The only area that fell short for us was the Level 5 swimming pool and health club. During our stay, the pool was extremely crowded due to external swimming activities, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to use. This was particularly disappointing as the swimming pool, gym and sauna were among the reasons we specifically chose this hotel for a stay during several rainy days. However, after we shared our experience with the hotel, our feedback was received with genuine concern and handled extremely professionally. We appreciated that very much and hope management can improve this aspect, because the quality of the leisure facilities should match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. Overall, despite this one area for improvement, we leave with very positive memories of our stay. The modern rooms, sea views, excellent food, beautiful Executive Lounge and, above all, the outstanding hospitality we received made this a hotel we would happily consider returning to. I specifically stayed here to try out the gym, and the equipment was comprehensive and easy to use. The bed mattress in the room was very comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a busy day. Even during peak check-in times, the front desk was well-organized. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished, and the food was generally palatable. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely book again.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained. The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around. This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

I brought my family to Xiamen this time and chose the Wyndham Yu Zhou, and overall we were quite satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Evelyn, was very thoughtful. A particularly memorable detail was the aromatherapy experience upon check-in. I initially thought it was just a small touch, but the subtle fragrance immediately made us feel like our 'vacation had begun.' It definitely added a special sense of ritual compared to the standard check-in process at other hotels 🌿. If you're traveling with kids, the hotel's family fun zone is truly commendable! It's quite spacious, and the children got completely absorbed in playing, allowing the adults to finally relax a bit. For family trips, I think having a dedicated play area for kids at the hotel is crucial; otherwise, you're constantly rushing between attractions or entertaining the kids, which can be exhausting. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is also very comfortable, without feeling particularly noisy. Breakfast was my favorite type – a rich selection and delicious too. It was great not having to rush out to find food in the morning; we could enjoy a leisurely meal before heading out. The staff overall provided attentive service, and communication was smooth whenever we needed anything. The biggest feeling I got from this stay was 'peace of mind.' We didn't have to pack our itinerary too tightly; we could find our own relaxing time right at the hotel. If you're bringing family to Xiamen, I think this is indeed a great choice ~ ☺️

Special thanks to the front counter staff, Summer, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to assist made a significant difference to our overall experience. Honestly, without her excellent service, I would not have given this hotel such a high rating. However, the most unpleasant part of our stay was the breakfast experience and the service at the restaurant. The service was disappointing and did not meet the standard expected from a “5-stars” hotel.

Full marks! The front desk service was incredibly attentive, and they even upgraded my room to one with floor-to-ceiling windows in advance. The environment is romantic and elegant, with lots of greenery and fresh air. The facilities are very well-designed, and the bathtub is large and comfortable for a soak. The hygiene is absolutely top-notch. Staying here really helped me relax both my body and mind. I was in a hurry this time and didn't get to experience the outdoor hot springs, but I'll definitely be back for another vacation!

The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Sandy at the front desk was very welcoming and provided excellent service. The room was quite spacious, well-equipped, with comfortable bedding and a beautiful view. Our private butler and cleaning attendant, Auntie Ye, was incredibly thoughtful. She provided a complimentary bubble bath, thoroughly disinfected all the bathroom fixtures, supplied almost every toiletry imaginable, and even offered a selection of different pillows. She also promptly reported any facility issues for repair. Additionally, she gave us Xiamen souvenirs, offered bedtime drinks like hot milk and chrysanthemum tea, and thoughtfully turned down our bed with lavender aromatherapy. The executive lounge was refined and had a great atmosphere, with a wide variety of food and drinks. The bartender at the lobby bar on the first floor was very approachable, and they also offered a range of beverages and snacks. A complimentary laundry service was provided once a day. Breakfast was extensive and unique. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Traveling with my family, I carefully selected this hotel, and our entire stay was absolutely perfect – everyone was very satisfied. I had noted in advance that we were traveling with a child, and upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully arranged a quieter room for us, paying attention to every detail. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and the floor was clean and non-slip, so I felt at ease letting my child run around and play. The hygiene was impeccable; the bedding was dry and soft, making me feel comfortable with my child playing on the bed. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel's common areas were clean and tidy, the hallways were quiet, and our rest at night was completely undisturbed by outside noise. The location is uniquely advantageous; the beach is just a short walk away, and there are many dining options nearby. The staff were very patient and answered all our questions thoroughly. We didn't encounter any problems during our stay; the facilities were in perfect condition, making our stay both reassuring and comfortable. This hotel added a lot to a wonderful trip. Next time I bring my family here, I will definitely stay again. Highly recommended for families.
