"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Resort Hurghada and would happily return. The value for money here is truly outstanding. For an affordable price, you get a beautiful hotel complex, friendly staff, and an excellent location. Restaurants, shops, and the promenade are all within easy walking distance. We were particularly impressed by the Wi-Fi: it works throughout the entire hotel, providing a stable internet connection almost everywhere – which is by no means a given at every hotel. The resort is well-maintained, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is varied. Overall, the Grand Resort comes highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Hurghada without breaking the bank."

"The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the main street. It's an apartment hotel, and the rooms are relatively clean and tidy. There are many rooms on each floor, and there's an elevator. The front desk is staffed 24/7, so you don't have to worry if you arrive late at night; you can still check in, and the staff will help with your luggage. On the ground floor, you can inquire about island hopping tours, but the prices are quite high. It's worth checking with a few more places at the pier or online. The rooftop terrace offers fantastic views. You can also get a pass from the front desk for free entry to Orange Beach, but you need to go before 5 PM, as the beach closes then. There are no free beaches here; even if you're not staying at the hotel, you need a ticket. It's very, very noisy facing the street; the soundproofing is practically nonexistent. I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed the air conditioner vent had red and green lights flashing alternately. I wasn't sure if it was a camera, so I checked out the next day and left."

"A good hotel, although there are a lot of Germans. You can count the Russian speakers on your fingers, but oh well. The rooms are good; fruit baskets were delivered on weekdays during afternoon snacks. The beach is just 100 meters away. The sea is clean. The Wi-Fi is good everywhere, and the entertainment is excellent. We played tennis, free of charge, and the beach volleyball was also top-notch. The food is delicious, the staff is 5+. The shrimp were a delight. Well, it's a bit boring in the evenings; there's nothing for adults to do except watch TV in the lobby and watch football. The beer isn't Stella, but 4% kegs are also good. It's true you won't get drunk; it's like a kid's beer, but that's just me. Overall, we'd go there again; we liked everything."

"An absolutely wonderful stay with exceptional service! The hotel is beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and the service is truly outstanding. I arrived early in the morning around 8:00 AM, and even though standard check-in wasn't until 12:00 PM, the staff was kind enough to let me enjoy breakfast first. On my departure day, I checked out at noon but had a late flight at 6:00 PM. The hotel generously allowed me to keep my beach towel card and continue using all the facilities, including the pool and the beach, until I had to leave. "We’ve been to Egypt a lot of times. First time we are staying Sahl hasheesh - ZEN Resort. Very good hotel, spacious room, we had a good balcony with beautiful sea view. Everyone in the resort is very helpful,especially Mohammed Riad - front office manager, he helped us to rent a golf cart and was always there to support us when needed. Definitely recommend this place!a"

"We were here in May 2026. We stayed for 3 days. Pros: Close to the airport Rooms are tired, but clean Buffet - plenty to choose from. Sea - there's a large shallow area, and then there's a deeper spot. Overall - ok. Staff - they do a good job, but due to the number of people, they seem a bit tired. Cons: Tired rooms, AC roaring, toilet button only flushed if you ran and jumped to press it :) Lots of people, and a lot of them smoked. Loud music, and I didn't like the selection, but that's a matter of taste. It felt like a barge full of German pensioners capsized off the shore. You feel like you're in a retirement home. And while I'm glad pensioners have the opportunity to relax, for a youth vacation, you should definitely choose something else. Before this, we stayed for three days at the Grand Makadi. It's the same hotel chain, the same price, but the level of comfort is significantly different. The service is okay, but you have to choose the atmosphere according to your preferences."

"Upon arrival, there's a security check before check-in. They offered special juices to guests waiting to check in, which was a very nice touch. The lobby staff were also patient and answered many of our questions. The hotel service is very thoughtful, and all the staff are extremely friendly. After checking in on the first day, they even conducted a satisfaction survey, asking if there were any areas for improvement. The hotel food is plentiful, with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner. My only complaint is that the dinner food was too salty, making you practically have to order drinks. While eating, sparrows and pigeons keep you company. If you like enjoying the outdoors, you can sit outside, which is very close to the sea. The location is quite far from Hurghada city; once you leave the hotel, it's nothing but desert. Behind the hotel, there's a small commercial area with restaurants, a sports club, a bank, a supermarket, and even a home goods store, which is nice for a stroll. The hotel actually has a lot of activities, but since we were out for all four days of our trip, we didn't get to fully enjoy the hotel's amenities, which is a bit of a shame. Overall, if you have enough time, it's definitely worth recommending; it's a place where you can slow down and enjoy life. :)"

"The Hotel was 20mins drive to Hurghada Marina. It did not have a beach front view as it is a second row to the other Steigenberger complex. The pools and lazy river were super clean and beautiful. The food was average but good compared to all inclusive resorts. We were inconvenienced with our room keys as they didn’t work for couple of times and had to wait half an hour outside the room and our room far from the front desk. The room had a steady cooling temperature so don’t expect to get a cooler temperature to your liking. The room didn’t have an iron or iron board. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang our clothes. There was no tissue box. No laundry bag. The elevator stopped working and didn’t get repaired for two days."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at The Grand Hotel Hurghada (24/7 – 30/7) I had an absolutely wonderful stay at **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** from **July 24th to July 30th**, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team for making our vacation truly memorable. The **food** was simply outstanding. The quality, taste, and unbelievable variety exceeded all expectations. Every meal offered something new and delicious, making dining one of the highlights of our stay. The **staff** deserve special recognition. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were always smiling and genuinely happy to help, serving guests with dedication and pleasure. Their positive attitude made us feel at home from the very first day. A special thank you goes to **Mr. Nader** at the Reception. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hotel reception managers I have ever met. He is highly professional, courteous, and an excellent problem-solver. Any issue was handled quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. I would also like to thank **Mr. Mohamed Moawad** from the Food & Beverage Department. He is one of the finest professionals at the hotel—extremely humble, welcoming, respectful, and genuinely caring about the guests' comfort. Another person who deserves special praise is **Chef Mahmoud**. He is simply one of the best. His passion and dedication are reflected in the outstanding quality of the food served throughout the resort. The team at the **Eastern Restaurant** was exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. **Mostafa** and **Ashraf** and **Mohamed**deserve special recognition for their excellent service and kindness. Dining there was always a wonderful experience. The **Room Service** was also excellent. **Majed** is a kind-hearted gentleman who serves guests with genuine dedication, professionalism, and a cheerful attitude. His hard work did not go unnoticed. The **beach** is beautiful, sandy, clean, and perfect for families. There were always plenty of available sunbeds and enough space for everyone to relax comfortably without feeling crowded. The hotel offers a great selection of restaurants: * The International Restaurant next to the Reception. * The Pasta Restaurant on the second floor. * The Eastern Restaurant with its outdoor grill near the Reception. * The large white beach restaurant serving Shawarma, Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Pizza. * Another beach restaurant serving snacks and French fries. Every one of these restaurants offered excellent food and service. The only point I would suggest improving is the **swimming pool area**. The hotel has only one main pool, which is not enough considering the large number of guests staying at the resort. Overall, my family and I had an outstanding holiday. The excellent hospitality, delicious food, beautiful beach, and the genuine kindness of the staff made this one of our best vacations. I highly recommend **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** and look forward to returning again."
