"I booked two rooms. One room was successfully charged to my credit card, but the other was not. I contacted the hotel to explain that I was only about three hours away and asked them to hold the room so I could pay upon arrival. Unfortunately, my request was refused and one room was canceled. I then had to make a new reservation directly through the hotel’s website, which was quite disappointing. The rooms were not soundproof at all. There is no elevator, and when I asked for assistance, the reception declined immediately without offering any help. Parking is also very limited and requires an additional fee."

"We had a great weekend at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Just a quick note about the breakfast, which I think is very expensive for the price of €11.50, certainly all-you-can-eat. I've had all-you-can-eat breakfasts for half the price (€6 in Le Havre), and they were also very generous. Otherwise, the hotel and room were top-notch. Thank you."

"The location is everything, right in front of the beach. Love the theme of Jules Vernes (name of hotel) and Arsène Lupin which resonated in the rooms. Both of whom had strong associations with Étretat. The building has a very iconic façade. We had a village-facing room as the sea-facing ones were not available during booking but it had also a pretty decent view. Coffee provided at the hallway at one's disposal. Tea in the room. No AC, so very warm and stuffy at night, could hardly sleep. Wouldn't recommend opening the windows cos of mozzies. Breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Huge croissants! Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Very nice, a 24-hour welcome at the entrance, contrary to what was announced, however, parking is chargeable which increases the bill, the cleanliness is top notch, I highly recommend it anyway and one of the cheapest on the outskirts of Le Havre city center the weekend Savings compared to other hotels of 20th on average"

"Here's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Pros: - Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town. - Helpful staff - Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm - Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit) - Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub - Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags - Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces. Cons: - Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross. - Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in. - Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed. - Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high. - Parking spaces were limited. - Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from. - Overall abit pricey for the value you get."

"Great hotel and great location. Plenty of free parking. Very clean and big rooms. Reasonable price. The only thing I would have liked is a kettle and a coffee machine in the rooms, thats the only thing that was missing. Other than that. I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk agent, Mary is also very nice and kind."

"The room facilities are relatively new and meet 4-star standards. I requested a high floor when booking, and I called the hotel a few days before check-in to confirm it. I didn't expect to be given the first floor in France when I checked in. I wanted to communicate with the hotel through Ctrip's customer service in China to see if I could change to a higher floor. As a result, the hotel's front desk staff hung up the phone directly because they didn't speak English. This attitude is rare. Fortunately, the windows are double-glazed and soundproof. The terminus of bus No. 3 is downstairs. The departure time of buses in France is relatively long, and there is still noise when the vehicles are waiting and idling. The hotel's breakfast is 16 euros per person, which is a bit expensive, but the orange juice and drinks are all Bio"
