Welcome to Hotel Indigo Dundee, a boutique Dundee hotel that brings our city’s jute-spinning past back to life. Indeed, a stay in our iconic Scottish hotel invites you to become part of a story spanning nearly 200 years! Set on the site of a former textile mill built in 1822, our hotel’s bold design reflects its fascinating industrial heritage with bare-brick walls, hardwood timber floors and bespoke touches referencing the city’s jute, jam and journalism past.
Located near Dundee city centre and waterfront, Hotel Indigo Dundee provides the perfect base to discover the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design. Just a short walk to neighbourhood attractions like the V&A Dundee, Slessor Gardens and Discovery Point. After a busy day exploring the city you can dine at our Daisy Tasker restaurant, enjoying Scottish dishes celebrating local suppliers, or settle back with a malt whisky in our brand-new bar, Eighteen22.
With on-site parking available, 24hour gym, luxurious toiletries and more to make your stay a welcome break!
"The room was great.
The staff were nice and polite, although not always able to help.
For an entire evening, nobody answered calls to reception, which was a bit surprising. There were also no hotel slippers, and when we asked, no alternatives were offered.
That said, we did enjoy the food. Dinner at the hotel was very nice. At breakfast, items were not always refilled if you arrived later in the morning, but overall it wasn’t bad.
I would say it’s a nice hotel, and if I’m ever back in Dundee, I would stay there again. That said, there is definitely room for improvement."
