"We arrived after 10 PM. I was a bit hesitant about taking a taxi, as I'd seen previous guest comments mentioning safety concerns. However, the area around the airport metro station was quite lively, and the hotel was just a short walk, a few hundred meters, off the main road. The front desk staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Once we got into our room and saw the Acropolis lit up at night, all my worries completely melted away."

"Fantastic location, easily walkable to the main attractions and Syntagma Square for airport buses. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We truly enjoyed our stay at Plaka Hotel."

"I recently stayed at Breeze Boutique Hotel for 15 nights. While the location is convenient and the hotel is generally clean, there were a few issues that negatively impacted my experience. Upon arrival, I encountered a serious problem with my reservation. I had booked 15 nights through Trip.com and had received a confirmation with a valid reservation number. However, the hotel’s system only showed a 2-night booking. Despite showing my booking confirmation, the front desk did not accept it and told me I had to email Trip.com to resolve the issue myself. After several emails and much back-and-forth communication, Trip.com eventually sent a confirmation that the hotel finally accepted, and the situation was resolved. Additionally, the rooms are not well soundproofed. Street noise easily comes through the doors and windows, making it difficult to sleep at night, especially for light sleepers. Another issue was with the elevator. When you were inside and it moved up or down, it made a noise that was quite disturbing. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts and understand that booking errors can happen, I believe better coordination with booking platforms and improved sound insulation in the rooms—as well as reducing elevator noise—would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. "I had a great stay at this hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the food was genuinely impressive with good variety and taste. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The only thing I missed was having Type‑C charging ports in the room, which would have made things more convenient. However, the team provided a charger immediately when I requested one, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. Would happily stay again."

"Aile olarak gittik ve yaş ortalaması yüksek bir grup olmasına rağmen herkes çok memnun kaldı. Odaları çok temiz. Her gün havlular değişti oda temizlendi. Kahvaltısı yurtdışı standartlarinin çok üzerindeydi. Meyvesinden kuru yemişine kadar her şeyi düşünmüşler. Bir daha Atina'ya gitsem yine bu otelde kalırım. Ayrıca personellerin hepsi güler yüzlü ve samimiyetle yaklaştı. En son gün otelden çok erken ayrılmamız gerekiyordu. Kahvaltınin ücreti önceden ödendiği için 11 kişiye ayrı ayrı kahvaltı paketi hazırlayıp verdiler. Havaalanında yedik ve yumurtaya kadar koymuşlar. Mükemmeldi çok teşekkür ediyorum 🙏🏻"

"I highly recommend B48 Dafni. It’s slightly off the center but getting to the Acropolis takes a 20 min ride, which is totally fine. The design is minimalist and the apartment is pristine clean and has almost everything you need (cooking supplies, blow dryer, cleaning kit, even a small safe deposit box). There is a shop nearby and some cafes.  A couple of things worth mentioning: if you think about having romantic breakfasts in the balcony, you won’t because the flat is overlooking a very busy highway crossing the whole city, though the smell, the dust and the occasional car noise. The noise level in the room with window closed is ok and they also give you some earplugs just in case.  Note that there is no washing machine, as I was staying for 10 days I had to discover that the nearest laundromat requires a 20 min ride which makes a whole operation very time consuming.  Also the apartments are really located near one another (like hotel rooms). I had pretty noisy neighbours and there was no salvation to this lol :) earplugs do help.  Apart of all that I had really great time there. The bed is really good, the cleaning staff is very nice and helpful (since there is no reception desk they will be the only ones answering your questions non-digitally).  But it totally worth its price and if you’re looking for something cosy and not too pricy this is a very good solution."

"Dave Red in Athens is definitely a hotel with character! If you want to stay somewhere not so ordinary, then this is your choice. The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere. The main highlight of my room was the super comfy bed and the balcony with a street view. In terms of the size, the room wasn't the biggest but more than enough for a single person. I would like to especially emphasise the staff of the hotel who were extremely helpful, spoke fluent English and gave valuable recommendations. It felt like they really care about their guests' comfort and want them to have best experience in Athens. All the amenities were top notch: breakfast, gym (small but functional), iron and ironing board on request, and a little rooftop space with a communal hot tub😍"

"The hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes. As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel. The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air. There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed. There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated on Women's Street. It's just a 13-15 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. With many delicious restaurants and jewelry stores in the vicinity, it's perfect for shopping. Getting to the hotel from the airport is straightforward without needing a taxi. Simply exit the airport and ask for the X95 bus, which takes you directly to Syntagma Square in less than an hour, costing 5.5 Euros per person. From Syntagma Square, walk down through the square onto the central street, and the hotel is just a 3-5 minute walk further, located down a small alley next to Mango. A minor drawback is the lack of complimentary bottled water. However, the rooms are quite spacious, and with a comfortable 1.5-meter sofa, there's ample space, even if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel breakfast was standard, with a limited selection. Nevertheless, the hotel's 7th-floor cafe offers stunning panoramic views of the Acropolis. It's particularly beautiful to visit around 7 PM to witness the Acropolis at sunset. The prices for food and drinks there are also reasonable."
