Great
GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well.
The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor.
The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning.
The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

PPorco RActually we couldn’t stay this hotel..
With the terms and conditions we have reserved.
and no refund or no reduction has provided…
Even though we have truly expected to stay Acropolis view room of A for Athens again on the last night in Athens, but due to the electric device disorder, the front desk explained, the reservation has changed to the room of another cheaper sister hotel, 360 pop art, without no refund.
In addition to that, the number of guests has not been correctly communicated to the 360 pop art and we had been kept waiting for more than 30 mins, even including arguing by pop art receptionist, when so tired after long trip from islands in late evening.
They explained they change to very good room with Acropolis view but it only has partial view. But it was completely different from the view from Acropolis view room at A for Athens, in which we had stayed a few redays ago with the same price.
Very disappointed memory.

Great
GGuest UserThe room was great – spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable stay. It's also conveniently located near the metro station, just a few minutes' walk away. Nearby, there's a century-old yogurt shop called Stani, and their walnut honey yogurt is delicious. The only downsides were the small front desk and the rather unassuming entrance. The surrounding buildings also looked a bit run-down, making the immediate area feel a bit shabby. However, I found Athens as a whole to be quite old and a bit like a large county town, not very European at all. The food also had a distinct Middle Eastern flair.
Mmaya dalalThe hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes.
As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel.
The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air.
There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed.
There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great
YYee11We stayed one night at Alekos Apartments 2 and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The apartment was modern, very clean, and well-equipped — it even had a small kitchenette for simple cooking and Netflix for a relaxing night in.
Although there’s a front desk, the office hours are limited, but not to worry — the owner is super responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. He even helped us arrange transport from the airport to the property at a reasonable fee, which made arrival really convenient.
The self check-in process was smooth and well explained. The apartment felt safe, cozy, and had everything we needed for a short stay. Location-wise, it’s within walking distance to metro stations, making it easy to get to the city centre.
Overall, a great value stay in Athens — clean, modern, and hosted by someone who truly cares about guests’ comfort. Would happily stay again!
DDannywkChanI recently stayed at this hotel and had a genuinely pleasant experience from start to finish. The first thing I noticed upon entering my room was how clean and well-maintained everything was. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work, as every surface was spotless, the bedding felt fresh, and the bathroom was impeccably tidy. It made settling in and relaxing incredibly easy after a long day of travel.
The staff were another highlight of my stay. From check-in to check-out, everyone I interacted with was warm, polite, and eager to help. Whether it was answering questions about the area or accommodating small requests, they handled everything with professionalism and a friendly attitude that made me feel welcome throughout my visit.
The location of the hotel is also excellent. It’s conveniently situated close to key attractions, restaurants, and transport links, making it easy to get around without hassle. This added a lot of value to my stay, as I could explore the area without spending too much time commuting.
Breakfast each morning was a real treat. There was a great variety of options available, catering to different tastes, and everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to start the day and set the tone for whatever plans I had ahead.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay.
ZZaleeEverything is perfect. Clean / good reception/ quiet. The only inconvenience is that the bathroom layout / size will have you squeezing in and out. And I stayed in the 4 beds room. That would be a challenge if you have 4 people in there trying to use the bathroom.
집집이최고Good location, simple and clean. The front desk is friendly and the breakfast is average. Hot water comes out well and the room is not cold. Please note that the single room is full of beds. The bed is not uncomfortable, but the blanket is only a sheet and a blanket, so it may be a little unfamiliar to Koreans.

Very Good
TTom KrakowiakWe had a great stay at this hotel. Our room had a balcony and was nice and clean. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the main attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the blinds didn't completely block out the sun.
PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly.
None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly.
The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough.
The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long.
The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
