My overall experience staying at an apartment hotel in Japan this time was quite good. The room was more spacious than a typical hotel room and came with amenities like a kitchenette and washing machine, making it very convenient and home-like. It's especially suitable for longer trips or families. Coming back to the room every day and being able to truly relax definitely added a lot to my trip. While there were a few minor hiccups, such as not receiving the room number and password upon check-in and it taking a little time to contact the front desk, the hotel staff were very patient and helpful in resolving the issues, and their friendly attitude made me feel at ease. Overall, this stay was still pleasant and highly recommendable. Not only was it comfortable and convenient, but it also offered a more authentic feeling of living like a local. I would definitely consider choosing an apartment hotel again on my next visit to Japan.

Watermark was a perfect location for us on a couple’s getaway. Since we were flying into Shimojishima airport and rented a car, we found it to be a very convenient location—only a six minute drive away. Although we could see the runway in the distance, we hardly noticed the noise of air traffic. On top of that, we enjoyed that it was in a remote area and not in the middle of town (like Miyakojima) or in the midst of a major resort area (like Shigira). We didn’t mind exchanging more driving time for more serenity. I could go on about the location but if you are looking for a quiet place on the water, I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were always polite, which is expected in Japan, but there was also a kind of relaxed warmth that I haven’t always felt from staff in other Japanese hotels. The facilities also struck a perfect balance for us. Not garish, not too plain; just enough island flavor but not too much. I was refreshed every time I walked through the lobby. The breakfast buffet area was clean, fairly well organized and offered a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed our breakfast times daily. We used the laundry facilities and found the machines easy to use—glad to have had this option. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from both our room balcony and the rooftop pool. We loved our room. It was simple but had everything we we wanted, including a balcony. If you’ve ever seen a modern Japanese one room apartment, it feels much the same, without the gas range. It was perfect for our stay.

The service was polite, the room was clean and very nice. I was happy that the amenities were Diptyque! It was a little disappointing that we had to queue for breakfast, but I guess that can't be helped💦

For daily outings, I relied entirely on public transport; several bus lines stop right outside the hotel, connecting to areas like Shimojishima. Waiting times were acceptable, but buses aren't super frequent, so checking the schedule beforehand is advisable. Environment: It boasts a prime beachfront location. When the weather was good, the ocean's color was stunning, truly giving off vacation vibes. The resort grounds are generally quiet, not too crowded, making it perfect for guests looking to relax and avoid bustling crowds. Facilities: The room size was adequate. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Public areas are practical; both the pool and beach were quite clean, providing a consistently good experience. Service: The service leans towards professional and efficient rather than overly enthusiastic, but responses were prompt, and communication was smooth, which was reassuring overall. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered a good variety, with both Japanese and Western options, and the quality was consistent – perfectly fine for several consecutive days. Dinner maintained a steady standard, and the price was reasonable for a resort hotel. It's a great option when you don't feel like going out. Surroundings and Overall Impression: Miyako Island generally has a slow pace, and its beaches are high quality. Using this hotel as a base, you can cover some major areas simply by using public transportation. Overall, my stay was very satisfying; the strengths were prominent, and any minor drawbacks were acceptable. If I return to Miyako Island, I would consider staying here again.

The hotel's location is very private, and the service is welcoming—it's a luxury hotel, after all. However, the facilities aren't fully developed yet, giving the feeling of a newly opened hotel. The hotel's housekeeping service isn't integrated with WeChat, so you still have to call to request assistance. However, it's worth noting that there are Chinese-speaking waiters answering the phone. This seems to indicate that Chinese guests are assigned Chinese-speaking staff. The Japanese restaurant's food is excellent, but there were instances where the sashimi wasn't fully deboned. The chef attributed this to the chef's apprentice's poor preparation. Overall, it's a nice place to relax for a few days, but the price isn't what you'd expect.

Anyway, it's very good. Equipment も Qili だし, big family to けで the most suitable だと think います. (I was a family of five) There is a beach nearby and there is a pool in the hotel, so it is an environment that is easy to play. Breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the surrounding environment is good because the Shigira group is managed together.

I recently stayed at Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring Miyako Island. The hotel is modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for the price. My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours. Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island.

After seeing a recommendation from a YouTuber, I decided to stay at this hotel on the last day of my trip. It turned out to be a wonderful, comfortable stay that exceeded my expectations, completely relieving me of my travel fatigue. First of all, the room was extremely well-equipped with amenities and was extremely clean and comfortable. Of particular note was the large public bath, where I could refresh myself after a long day of travel. It was truly helpful for me to be able to relax both body and mind on my last night. The dining bar on the first floor also had a stylish and comfortable atmosphere, making it especially perfect for couples. Both dinner and breakfast were of high quality and very satisfying. Of course, there are many attractive restaurants around the hotel, making the location convenient for finding a great choice. Furthermore, there was a souvenir shop nearby, which was very helpful as I was able to successfully purchase souvenirs I had forgotten to buy on my last day. Because it's located in the city center, parking was charged, but the convenience and satisfaction outweighed that.

The transportation is convenient, there is a bus to and from the airport nearby. There is a whole family within a 3-minute walk. There are many small shops to eat next to. There is a supermarket 10 minutes' walk away, with sashimi and cooked food abundant and cheap. As a chain hotel, the facilities are excellent. For diving enthusiasts, there is a washing area, and the cleaning of wet clothes and equipment is very convenient.
