"When I was booking a hotel in Okinawa, I did some research, and most recommendations pointed to Tokyu REI, mainly because of its great location. But this hotel is even closer to Tsubogawa Station and has bigger rooms. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven just 200m away with a wide selection of items.
As for the room amenities, all the toiletries are Refa, and so is the hairdryer. My hair felt incredibly smooth after using them... I absolutely loved it and I'm totally sold! I'm planning to get a set to take back home, but I'm not sure where to buy them in Okinawa. If any of you know, please let me know! [blushing emoji]
The room also comes with a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic! The humidity on this island is so high, so it was great to be able to wash and dry clothes the same day. They even provide laundry detergent – it's a spray-type concentrated detergent and smells really good! A microwave and fridge are also essential in the room. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so we bought rice balls and sandwiches from 7-Eleven and heated them up in the room's microwave. Although the hotel doesn't provide bottled water, there's a water dispenser on the 5th floor with hot, warm, and cold water, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with kids! There's also a coffee machine nearby [selfie emoji]"

"Stayed for a short 2 nights as I've a morning home flight.
Room is CLEAN! Majority of hotels around Japan comes with a decent tub for you to soak in... I'm happy Tissage's 🛁 is spacious & deep. I took my warm soak after a long tiring walk each nights . The window view overseeing the harbour/port is calming however it rained on all my 7 days in Okinawa.. Fortunately on my final night the ☀️ showed up gracefully.
Love the initiative that the hotel lobby has a display of few pamphlets of attractions.. Umikagi Terrace Senagajima one really caught my eye. Glad i went!
I might only consider its tricky location though, as there's construction works going on during my visit in May .
A 11-15mins walk frm hotel gets u to arrive into Asahibashi station. I took /booked a DiDi ride the morning which i had to leave for an international fligh home, a decent fare of ¥ 1950 to Naha airport.
All staffs speaks great English! :D

Okinawa works well if you rent a car... public transport is tricky as buses operates on schedule and often the buses were slightly delayed behind time due to traffic congestion.
I'd recommend it anyway. 😁

Wished there was more veggie stir fried options as sometimes we would like to go light in the morning. Room itself was nice, location superb, 15min to airport is also a huge plus."

"The hotel's location is pretty good. While it's not in the very center of Kokusai Street, it's quite convenient for the subway station. You can walk to the Prefectural Office and even DFS. There's also a seafood market right next door, which is great for dining.
The lobby environment and room size are both decent. However, having to pick up toiletries downstairs yourself makes it feel a bit too much like a budget hotel (even though it carries the JR name...)"

"This is a great hotel located near Asahibashi Station. If you're staying for multiple nights, they provide housekeeping service starting from the second day. "The hotel staff were very friendly, and wamori (a type of Japanese tea) and welcome tea were available in the lobby at certain times. However, bottled water was not provided in the rooms, so guests had to purchase their own. It's a bit of a walk from the monorail station."

"My stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is conveniently located near Kokusai Street, making it easy to explore local restaurants, souvenir shops, and popular attractions. The monorail station is also within walking distance, which made transportation very convenient.
The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Although the space was not very large, it was well organized and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I had questions.
One of the best parts of the hotel was the complimentary services. Guests could enjoy free drinks, ice cream, and late-night ramen, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The public bath was also excellent and helped me relax after a long day of sightseeing.

"Checked in on a typhoon day, the streets were completely deserted 🌪️, and all the restaurants were closed. But the hotel became our strongest support! I was worried we'd be stuck eating instant noodles in the storm, but the hotel really went into 'fan-favorite mode' 💗:
✅ Heartwarming rescue 🆘: They gave out free, steaming hot curry rice 🍛 in the lobby. For stranded travelers, that warm meal was a lifesaver!
✅ Unlimited refills: The Club Lounge was incredibly well-stocked! Not only did they have various juices 🧃 and alcoholic beverages 🍾, but also Okinawan must-tries like peanut tofu (Jiimami Tofu) and Blue Seal ice cream 🍦.

The environment, location, and design are all pretty good. The only downside is that the pillows in the room aren't very comfortable. There's a shopping mall, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so it's quite convenient. It's also not too far from the train station; you can get there directly by taking the overhead bridge. The large public bath requires going nude, which I couldn't bring myself to do, so I didn't go.

This was my first time visiting, and I didn't get lost trying to find the hotel at all 😭 You don't even have to go downstairs from the subway station; you can just enter the hotel directly from the second floor, saving you from any detours. I had originally booked another hotel for my departure day, but because this hotel is so convenient for taking the subway to the airport, I decisively canceled the other booking and extended my stay here! It's just a few minutes' walk to the shopping street, where you can browse various souvenir shops, drugstores, and even Don Quijote. I also managed to check out Ichiran Ramen while I was there! The toiletries were incredibly thoughtful – they had everything from facial cleanser to exfoliating towels, and I was pleasantly surprised to even find hair essential oil. Overall, it was a great value and highly recommended.

I chose this because of the location which is perfect for my trip as I am taking A Line to Yoron the following day. The facility is clean, thanks to those maintaining it. How can I rate the service when it's just check in and there's even a machine? Check in process is straightforward. Trip.com should adjust their survey.

Guest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.

The facilities are great, and the service is prompt and responsive, making it an excellent choice for a trip.

Anonymous UserLocation is great. Next to monorail Tsubogawa station. Near the airport and walking distance so Kokouri Dori. There are two konbinis nearby, and there's a Donki on the next block.
Room is also quite spacious. There's a bathtub. And I was happy I was able to watch youtube/netflix on the TV.
Staff are friendly, too. They made a ”towel cake” for my birthday. 😁

DupercaliThe location is very convenient, especially if you are arriving from the airport by train or bus. The breakfast is typical Japanese style, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the matcha latte.
The rooftop bar offers a great view of Okinawa at night. I also appreciated the laundry facilities, which were very convenient for travelers.

The room was incredibly noisy; I couldn't get any sleep. The curtains weren't blackout, and the window faced a busy road, plus the windows weren't soundproof. The entire hotel felt more like an open apartment building, with all areas directly exposed to the outside, meaning no air conditioning in the common areas. The most shocking part was when the staff opened our door before 10 AM, well before check-out time. There was also a mirror with a super bright light that wouldn't turn off, and we eventually had to unplug it. It felt like the photos made everything look great and the facilities were new, but the management was really lacking. Also, everything, contrary to what the pictures suggested, came with an extra charge.

The hotel is located in the city center, right next to a sports stadium. The elevated highway nearby can be a bit noisy due to heavy traffic. The hotel has its own parking, but the fee is a bit expensive at 1500 JPY per day. Overall, it offers medium value for money.

There are various restaurants around, and the tomari is close.
I recommend going to a remote island!
