Obihiro Hotels with Wifi

"I've always yearned to visit Eastern Hokkaido, so I made a special trip from Sapporo by JR train to Obihiro. The two-and-a-half-hour journey took me through the mountains of central Hokkaido, finally arriving in this central city of the Tokachi Plain on the afternoon of March 13, 2026. Coincidentally, my room number was 313. When I opened the curtains, the JR train station was to my immediate right, and the Obihiro bus terminal to my immediate left. While Obihiro Station is almost encircled by hotels, the Richmond's location is absolutely superb. After getting off the train, I turned right (West Exit) from the ticket gate, walked about 30-40 meters to the end, faced a small shopping mall, and then turned right again (north side). I spotted the hotel immediately, even before exiting the building – no navigation needed! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. After checking in, I quickly went downstairs and explored the area around the hotel. The city was impeccably clean and remarkably quiet. I've never fallen in love with a city at first sight like this before. It's no longer just about whether the hotel is good; now I'm seriously considering moving to Obihiro. The next morning, I started my bus tour early and didn't return until after 9 PM. On the morning of the 15th, I had breakfast at the hotel's buffet restaurant. The restaurant is called 'Ye Guang Bei' (Night-glowing Cup), but it's perfectly fine for breakfast. You can get 'tipsy' even without alcohol here! I love this hotel, and I love this city."

"An absolutely amazing experience! The outdoor hot spring in the snow couldn't have been more perfect. No wonder a day trip to the onsen costs 2000 yen."

"I stayed on the 4th floor, and I wonder if there is a problem with the ventilation system, but there is a persistent fishy smell in the room, typical of grilled seafood. Even after opening the window to ventilate and spraying fabric freshener, the smell persists—is this room the problem? It definitely seems like an issue that there is a smell even though it is a smoking room. It doesn't seem to be coming from the bathroom, nor is it coming in from the outside; was that room the problem...? The large public bath on the 3rd floor is very convenient to use because towels are provided. It is nice that you can get a can of beer if you don't clean your room."

"I didn't realize there would be food, so I just got what was on the menu. I didn't even ask, so I assumed the hotel wouldn't provide anything. I received the usual service. The man at the front desk was very friendly and had a nice smile. I was grateful that the toilet and bathroom in the room were clean."

"An unexpectedly exceptional experience My stay at Hotel Nikko Northland Obihiro was easily one of the most pleasant surprises of my entire trip. The quality of the room was outstanding and went well beyond my expectations. A unique highlight was a wine tasting event happening during my visit; I had the wonderful opportunity to sample some excellent sake and enjoy a pleasant conversation with the manager. The overall experience truly exceeded my expectations on every level. This hotel will 100% be my first choice the next time I am in Obihiro."

"Newer hotel. Friendly service at front desk. Enjoyed the complimentary bar with mixed nuts, raisins n a spread of flavors for mixing with carbonated water or alcohol. It’s a pity it closes at 9pm. Parking is at building next to it. Fees are charged to the room with in and out privileges through front desk validation. My only issue is with the narrow access to the twin bed next to the window. We had a room with twin beds. Onsen is small as expected but modern decor. Felt safe that women onsen requires a special passcode to enter."

"I stayed overnight in Obihiro on my way back from a trip to Shihoro. There's a moor hot spring, and I warmed up in it twice. The breakfast buffet had a great view and was delicious! I'm glad I stayed here. The hotel arranged for my suitcase to be sent by courier, and I took the morning bus back to New Chitose Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel."

"Great location, with a lot of great restaurants in walking distance. Room is so small that it was hard to open two luggage’s at the same time. But the cleanliness is impeccable. However, the public bath was kind of disgusting, full of black mold. I decided not to dip myself in the mold soup."

"This hotel's central location in Obihiro was perfect for enjoying the local nightlife. We traveled by rental car, and finding parking was hassle-free with multiple options available (600 yen/day). We opted for breakfast, which was outstanding in both taste and quality. While there's a sauna, it can get quite busy and a bit cramped. If you prefer a more private experience, showering in your room is perfectly adequate. The water quality is excellent. The staff were proficient in English, so communication was smooth and effortless."

"The interior of this former love hotel has been renovated, and the atmosphere has changed quite a bit. While the exterior looks exactly the same, you wouldn't recognize it at first glance once you go up to the second floor. There's an undeniable lack of explanation. For example, how to enter the garage. What was extremely inconvenient was the lack of hanger hooks, let alone hangers, let alone closets. Am I supposed to just throw my clothes on the sofa after undressing? I was relieved that they lent me hangers after I sent an inquiry."
