My room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities—ranging from high-quality toiletries to a well-stocked minibar—made the stay feel luxurious and convenient. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with both Korean and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is another huge plus—quiet enough for restful nights, yet close to notable attractions, the Expo Park, and convenient transportation hubs. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Daejeon. What truly sets Lotte City Hotel Daejeon apart is the service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. "Although I didn't book the cheapest room, we're a couple who loves OTT (Over-The-Top content), so we opted for the Movie Room! The facilities and service are all great. The coffee machine in the lobby and the complimentary ramen are truly amazing. However, for a 'Movie Room,' it felt a bit bare with just a projector. The sound quality wasn't great due to the lack of speakers, and the sofa provided was too small and uncomfortable for two people. While the location is a bit far from the main bustling area, I was still satisfied because of its many other advantages!"

"작지만 깔끔하고 아늑한 느낌 그 자체였습니다. 다만 509호 머리 윗쪽으로 전등을 켜고 끌 때마다 ‘딸깍’ 소리가 나더라구요. 아마 전기 배전 관련해서 벽이 얇아서 들리는 것 같았는데 그 점 빼고는 위치, 가격, 청결 모두 만족했습니다. 아 화장실이 좁은 편이라 물이 다 튀어서 옷 보관에 애를 먹었습니다."

"The hotel is modern and comfortable, and overall it offers good value for money. The breakfast was decent, although tea was not provided by default—I had to ask for it, but it was fine once served. There were some minor difficulties, such as figuring out how to use the clothes dryer in the room. Also, most instructions were in Korean, which made things a bit confusing at times. However, the service was generally good, and despite a few inconveniences, I had a pleasant stay."

"The hotel is well positioned very close to the bus station and also there is a mall nearby which has a huge supermarket with anything you may need. The staff was kind. They offer free drinking water, coffee, tea and toast with jam. Beware that they advertise on the pictures that they have a washing machine but in reality there’s none. Keep in mind if you’re looking for a room with laundry. There is a self service one not that far away though. The room was clean and we had everything what we expected."

"This old hotel seems to have found a new owner. The room walls are chipped in several places and are unkempt. The bidet in the bathroom has a cut cord, and the area around the bidet and toilet seat brackets appears to have been very dirty, probably not disinfected since its initial installation. The bathroom and shower are in the same space, and the musty smell was very uncomfortable. There were three small towels, but they smelled so bad that I doubted they had been washed, dried, or sterilized. (There was no bleach smell at all.) The room I was initially assigned smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I had to change rooms. I just endured it and stayed one night. The staff were friendly. The new owner seems to have yet to upgrade the room quality. The room is very spacious, and although I didn't use it, I don't know how good it is, but there are two PCs. Breakfast was included, but I didn't use them."

"Overall, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything felt new and tidy since it's a newly built hotel. However, it was a bit disappointing that the hairdryer and lotion in the drawer weren't neatly arranged and were just crumpled up. Besides that, I was very satisfied with everything else, including the breakfast quality. It's definitely my top choice for my next business trip."

"requested for quiet room - was put on 2nd floor which is odd since the room is right above the bsck entrance and carparks. Endless beeping sounds, drunks at night. Room was in the corner, which is the probably the quietest on the floor but the level negates it all. Wasnt quiet enough, kept waking up. Room 212 is to be avoided.  Appreciate the cooking equipment, which isnt as grimy and in as poor condition as the usual. Dishwashing liquid and scouring pad provided. Ondol is warm. Too many built in cabinets which goes unused and can smell a little musty.  Stayed 9 days, found a type of insect that resembles a very long ant with a forked behind and multiple sections. Encountered 5 of them in the bathroom, all on different days. I squished them so it isn't the same one.  There's bug spray in the room, Idk if it works on them. Got a picture of the 3rd day wormie for your viewing fun..."

"The front desk is very helpful. The water pressure in the room is good. There’s hot and cold water. The air-condition is good too. There’s TV and PC for entertainment. The bed is spacious for a single person. There are convenience stores and a mart nearby."
