"I think it's one of the best legit hotel in Franz Josef. Staff are so nice. I had to cancel 1 night of my stay, as my main activity (the glacier hike) got cancelled due to bad weather. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate and refund me 1 night. Its definitely a nice place to stay."

"The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the bus station. The rooms are fully equipped and clean. Although the hotel name is a motel, it is actually very comfortable and convenient for non-self-driving travelers. The hotel owner is very friendly and sincere, and is a reasonable young man. We couldn't choose the shift because there was a morning bus arriving on the same day, and it was raining, and we urgently needed to check in early. The hotel occupancy rate was full. We also understood that the hotel was difficult, but the hotel still arranged to clean a room in advance for us to stay. The two waitresses are also very kind, kind and welcoming, and easy to communicate. In short, I choose this hotel to feel at home and recommend this hotel."

New Zealand hotel prices are generally higher after the epidemic, but this one is really cheap in the town.

"Hotel facilities are very good, the room is very large, you can cook, but the rules are more demanding, even the green mouth can not be cooked, there is a need to cook a careful look at the instructions in the room oh ~ room facilities are complete, clean, bathroom wet Separated, the bath water is great. On the night of the day we stayed, the boss specially posted a note to us at the reception. The heating in the room was already open, and it was very heart-warming. The hotel is just opposite the Glacier reservation hall and is just a minute's walk away. The location is very convenient. Very worthy of recommendation."

"A beautiful area just outside of Franz Josef. It's nearby the road, so you may get some traffic noise. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful night there. We could see the milky way at night!
We had a studio, so no kitchen but a microwave was available. There's a laundry as well. Wifi was good.
The manager was very friendly and allowed us to fill out campervan with water."

TTomtanchThe hotel seems new and all the rooms were very clean. There was also a nice little kitchen and a spa bath tub, which we did not find the time to use. Special mention to the kind lady at the reception who was very helpful and informative. Thanks!
We drove to visit the Fox Glacier Walk and the Lake Matheson Trail, which was about half an hour drive away. There were supermarkets nearby in case one planned to cook or dine in at the restaurants.

HHuiyaorendetuzi- -Overall it was a particularly good choice near the fox glacier, and all the rooms were fully booked on the day. The cabin is equipped with the kitchen utensils needed, but there is no dishwasher. The only fly in the ointment is that there is a bathroom, which is used in line, but overall it is the best choice.

Kitchen is well-layout and it will be super if there is an electric stove and pots. The bathroom will be more use-friendly if some hooks are installed on the wall for towels and clothings.

劉劉The law-abiding backpacker hotel, we stayed for two days, the two-person room did not have a separate bathroom, but was assigned to a house, just no other guests, we will have that one. The saloon can also ~ the kitchen also provides basic pots and pans, etc. ~ Advantages, there is a complimentary breakfast, and there is a hot soup in the evening, although they are all the same thing! And parking is convenient! Disadvantages, I don't know if we are on the side or not, I can't even get wifi, I just ran to the saloon, and there was a bit of noise when it rained, because the roof of the corridor is iron, but the room is not, barely Not too noisy.
