"Hotel Uzbekistan is a classic landmark hotel with a great location, and overall I had a pleasant stay. The room was exceptionally spacious, which was definitely one of the highlights and provided plenty of comfort during my visit. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, making showers very enjoyable. However, the shower faucet design was not very practical, and it leaked during use, which could use some maintenance. The biggest downside was the air conditioning. It wasn’t cold enough, even after I requested and was moved to another room. In the end, I had to sleep with the balcony door open to get some fresh air. Thankfully, the weather at night was very comfortable, and the cool breeze from outside was actually much better than the AC. Overall, the hotel offers large, comfortable rooms and a convenient location, but improving the air conditioning and fixing the shower fixtures would make the stay much more enjoyable."

"While I was very satisfied with the room comfort, cleanliness, and location, I believe the hotel would significantly improve customer satisfaction by re-evaluating its guest registration fee policy. During my stay, a friend visited me for about two hours and did not stay overnight at the hotel. Despite this, I was charged a hefty fee simply because my friend entered the hotel premises. To avoid putting my friend in an awkward position, I chose to pay this fee; however, I believe the charge is excessive and unreasonable given the circumstances. I fully understand the importance of hotel security and guest registration procedures. However, I don't think there's a justifiable reason for such a high fee for a short, non-overnight visit. I hope management will reconsider this policy, as it negatively impacts an otherwise very positive stay."

"First off, the in-room Wi-Fi was terrible, almost unusable. We checked in on Chinese New Year's Eve, hoping to watch the Spring Festival Gala, but the CCTV4 signal was poor and then cut out completely. The breakfast offered a good variety, but it was a bit cold and not particularly tasty. However, the staff member there was quite enthusiastic. There's an ATM in the lobby for cash withdrawals, which accepts Visa, but UnionPay cards didn't work. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro station and the Uzbekistan Hotel. When we checked out, an older gentleman was charmingly playing the piano in the lobby bar, all smiles~"

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, boasting a cozy courtyard that hides three pools. As soon as we arrived, staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. After completing the check-in formalities, we were shown to our room. The room was spotless and came with bottled water, replenished daily, along with toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, combs, and more. The air conditioning worked quietly even in the heat. Housekeeping was done daily. The next day, a buffet-style breakfast awaited us on the -1 floor. There was a rich selection, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruits – melon and watermelon. Within the hotel grounds, there are three pools: one outdoor in the sun, and two indoor. There's also a Hammam and a Finnish sauna. Our stay at this hotel was worth every soum. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tashkent. The location is very close to the road leading to the airport, a 7-minute taxi ride. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance."

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. The room is exceptionally spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's acceptable, and the cleanliness is good. The hotel has several Chinese staff members, so if you encounter any communication issues, you can always find someone to help. The breakfast is Chinese-style, which is a big plus for travelers who've been eating local cuisine. The Wi-Fi is also decent. Now for some downsides. Firstly, the room I stayed in this time was odd. There was a beam by the bed that was less than 1.7 meters high. This means if you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and forget about the low beam, you'll undoubtedly bump your head. I suggest they get a designer to reconfigure the room layout slightly. Secondly, there's no desk or chair in the room, making it impossible to work. Thirdly, the fourth floor frequently experiences water outages, while the first and second floors are fine, suggesting a water pressure issue. I had to go to the public restroom on B1 to use the toilet and wash up in the mornings. A Chinese tour guide complained to the front desk, stating this had been happening for two days and her guests wanted to check out and move rooms. The front desk staff just shrugged, saying there was nothing they could do. Finally, I stayed for several days, but at check-out, the small receipt only showed one day (even though I had been in the country for a week). The front desk claimed the system was down. I politely asked if they could provide an alternative document to prove I was registered, as I needed it for customs. I wasn't pushy, but the front desk staff seemed impatient and said they couldn't give me anything since the system was broken. Fortunately, there was a long queue at immigration when I left, and the border control didn't check."

Overall, I really liked the hotel. It's perfectly located on a quiet street, yet everything you need is nearby, and it's convenient and affordable to get to any part of the city. The staff at reception were all very welcoming; the lovely girl, Esoza, was particularly pleasant, and all the male staff were polite and attentive. You can approach them with any request 👍😊. The standard room is quite small, making it difficult for two people to move around freely 😁, but it has everything you need: slippers, excellent soft towels, and in the bathroom, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a comfortable shower with good drainage (no water pooling on the floor) and multiple settings. It's convenient that there are full-length mirrors on the room door and in the bathroom. The plumbing is excellent, and the room's interior is well-chosen. The bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. A thoughtful touch is the direct phone charging capability in the outlets, no adapter needed 👍. There's also a kettle, cups, coffee, and tea. We found there weren't enough hangers for clothes – only two. But we asked reception, and they brought us two more!) Breakfasts were decent, though sometimes there was no hot food (except scrambled eggs), or no jam or yogurt, or the coffee machine wasn't working. I was surprised that during cherry and apricot season, the only fruits available at breakfast were sliced oranges, apples, and pears, which were clearly imported and quite tasteless. Nevertheless, the staff definitely try their best, and you certainly won't go hungry 😊. Kudos for having dried apricots and walnuts!👍 By the way, we read reviews about the Chinese restaurant nearby (next door). We went for dinner and really regretted it. Only one waitress understood Russian, and she recommended a dish of chopped chicken pieces – it was a total disaster, mystery chicken parts with lots of tiny bones, and incredibly spicy. For something more recognizable, we also ordered potato slices, supposedly like Korean carrots, but they turned out half-stewed, half-raw. For two dishes and green tea, only managing to eat half, we paid 400,000 Sum. We'll remember it like a nightmare 😔. Thankfully, we later found perfectly acceptable eateries 👍. Best wishes to everyone, and prosperity to the hotel! 🙏

The hotel was clean and truly felt like a 5-star establishment, and the room was beautiful. The bed and bedding were especially comfortable, making me feel like I was sinking into them, and I slept really well. However, there's a major flaw: the shower drainage was poor. The water wouldn't drain, and it kept pooling. I had to turn the water off periodically, wait for some of it to go down, and then turn it back on to continue showering. Honestly, when I choose a hotel, shower facilities and water pressure are very important to me, so I hope this can be improved. If I had been staying for more than one night, I would have complained and asked for a room change, but since it was just one night, I let it go. Other than that, everything else was great.

We stayed at the Hilton Tashkent City and were extremely satisfied. The hotel fully met our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping, and beautiful interior design. We especially want to highlight the staff — everyone was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes. The hotel's location is also excellent — close to a park, restaurants, and the city's main attractions. Thank you to the entire Hilton team for a wonderful stay and hospitality! We would gladly return again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel isn't located in the heart of Tashkent, but it's close to the airport and high-speed rail station, about a 10-minute drive away. Surrounded by residential areas, it's relatively quiet at night. The room wasn't large, but it was clean and tidy. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and disposable toiletries were provided. Great value stay with excellent breakfast in Tashkent We stayed at Viva Hotel in Tashkent and found it to be a comfortable and good value option. The location is convenient. It is about a 12 minute walk to Kosmonavtlar Metro Station, and there are plenty of markets and places to eat within walking distance. It is easy to get around the city from here. The room was very big and spacious. The beds were soft and very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was decent, with a western-style toilet and enough space for a comfortable shower. There is no TV in the room, and there are limited convenient plugs for charging devices. However, you can use one of the wall outlets that is normally used for the water boiler. The hotel provides tea and cups, which is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only one of the three staff members spoke English, so you may need to use a translation app to communicate at times. Despite the language barrier, the staff were still accommodating and tried their best to assist. Breakfast was excellent, with many options available. It starts early at 7:00 a.m., which is very convenient if you have an early morning train. If your train departs at 8:00 a.m. or later, you can still enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to the station. There are elevators to access the rooms. Soundproofing is acceptable, not perfect, but not problematic either. Overall, this hotel offers very good value for the price. The location is good, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are helpful. I would consider staying here again on a future visit to Tashkent.

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless. The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages. Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made. Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around. The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day. I believe most who stayed usually 1-night. The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights. My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit. However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended. I would like to commend on the front staff lady, Dildora for her professionalism & calm demeanour. Thank you.

The hotel is in need of renovation and updates. It's suitable for guests who aren't too particular. We stayed for one night, so it was fine. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. After checking out, we had some time to explore, so we left our luggage. When we returned to pick it up, they kindly offered us complimentary tea and coffee at their cafe. The location is quite good, not far from interesting spots like Seoul Moon and Magic City. Overall, for the price, especially with breakfast included, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a night or two.
