"This is my second time staying at this hotel. The room is exceptionally spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's acceptable, and the cleanliness is good. The hotel has several Chinese staff members, so if you encounter any communication issues, you can always find someone to help. The breakfast is Chinese-style, which is a big plus for travelers who've been eating local cuisine. The Wi-Fi is also decent. Now for some downsides. Firstly, the room I stayed in this time was odd. There was a beam by the bed that was less than 1.7 meters high. This means if you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and forget about the low beam, you'll undoubtedly bump your head. I suggest they get a designer to reconfigure the room layout slightly. Secondly, there's no desk or chair in the room, making it impossible to work. Thirdly, the fourth floor frequently experiences water outages, while the first and second floors are fine, suggesting a water pressure issue. I had to go to the public restroom on B1 to use the toilet and wash up in the mornings. A Chinese tour guide complained to the front desk, stating this had been happening for two days and her guests wanted to check out and move rooms. The front desk staff just shrugged, saying there was nothing they could do. Finally, I stayed for several days, but at check-out, the small receipt only showed one day (even though I had been in the country for a week). The front desk claimed the system was down. I politely asked if they could provide an alternative document to prove I was registered, as I needed it for customs. I wasn't pushy, but the front desk staff seemed impatient and said they couldn't give me anything since the system was broken. Fortunately, there was a long queue at immigration when I left, and the border control didn't check."

"The hotel appealed to me due to its proximity to the airport, as I only needed to stay for one night, so I didn't have high expectations. The staff were polite but slow. I was checked into a room where something was leaking in the bathroom and there was a puddle of water on the floor. After requesting it be cleaned/repaired, nothing happened. They promised but didn't even enter the room. The staff changed in the evening, and the new employees weren't even aware of the leak. However, to their credit, they immediately changed our room without any problems or reminders. The rooms are very dated, and the cleanliness is about 70%. We had an early flight, and since breakfast was paid for, we asked for packed lunch boxes to take with us. But, as I mentioned, the new staff shift wasn't even aware of our request. It was unpleasant. The room price is twice as high as it should be for this level of service and room quality."

"Hotel Uzbekistan is a classic landmark hotel with a great location, and overall I had a pleasant stay. The room was exceptionally spacious, which was definitely one of the highlights and provided plenty of comfort during my visit. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, making showers very enjoyable. However, the shower faucet design was not very practical, and it leaked during use, which could use some maintenance. The biggest downside was the air conditioning. It wasn’t cold enough, even after I requested and was moved to another room. In the end, I had to sleep with the balcony door open to get some fresh air. Thankfully, the weather at night was very comfortable, and the cool breeze from outside was actually much better than the AC. Overall, the hotel offers large, comfortable rooms and a convenient location, but improving the air conditioning and fixing the shower fixtures would make the stay much more enjoyable."

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, boasting a cozy courtyard that hides three pools. As soon as we arrived, staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. After completing the check-in formalities, we were shown to our room. The room was spotless and came with bottled water, replenished daily, along with toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, combs, and more. The air conditioning worked quietly even in the heat. Housekeeping was done daily. The next day, a buffet-style breakfast awaited us on the -1 floor. There was a rich selection, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruits – melon and watermelon. Within the hotel grounds, there are three pools: one outdoor in the sun, and two indoor. There's also a Hammam and a Finnish sauna. Our stay at this hotel was worth every soum. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tashkent. The location is very close to the road leading to the airport, a 7-minute taxi ride. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance."

"Overall, I really liked the hotel. It's perfectly located on a quiet street, yet everything you need is nearby, and it's convenient and affordable to get to any part of the city. The staff at reception were all very welcoming; the lovely girl, Esoza, was particularly pleasant, and all the male staff were polite and attentive. You can approach them with any request 👍😊. The standard room is quite small, making it difficult for two people to move around freely 😁, but it has everything you need: slippers, excellent soft towels, and in the bathroom, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a comfortable shower with good drainage (no water pooling on the floor) and multiple settings. It's convenient that there are full-length mirrors on the room door and in the bathroom. The plumbing is excellent, and the room's interior is well-chosen. The bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. A thoughtful touch is the direct phone charging capability in the outlets, no adapter needed 👍. There's also a kettle, cups, coffee, and tea. We found there weren't enough hangers for clothes – only two. But we asked reception, and they brought us two more!) Breakfasts were decent, though sometimes there was no hot food (except scrambled eggs), or no jam or yogurt, or the coffee machine wasn't working. I was surprised that during cherry and apricot season, the only fruits available at breakfast were sliced oranges, apples, and pears, which were clearly imported and quite tasteless. Nevertheless, the staff definitely try their best, and you certainly won't go hungry 😊. Kudos for having dried apricots and walnuts!👍 By the way, we read reviews about the Chinese restaurant nearby (next door). We went for dinner and really regretted it. Only one waitress understood Russian, and she recommended a dish of chopped chicken pieces – it was a total disaster, mystery chicken parts with lots of tiny bones, and incredibly spicy. For something more recognizable, we also ordered potato slices, supposedly like Korean carrots, but they turned out half-stewed, half-raw. For two dishes and green tea, only managing to eat half, we paid 400,000 Sum. We'll remember it like a nightmare 😔. Thankfully, we later found perfectly acceptable eateries 👍. Best wishes to everyone, and prosperity to the hotel! 🙏"

"I was genuinely surprised by how well-equipped and clean the facilities were. It's on par with luxury hotels in Japan. The breakfast selection was also extensive. Having stayed hundreds of nights in various countries, I truly believe this is the best hotel in Asia for under $100 USD. While the location is slightly outside the city center, it's within walking distance of the South Railway Station and a subway station. Bus number 32 takes just 5 minutes, and minibus number 92 goes directly to the city center, so getting around is no problem at all. Above all, Diyora's hospitality was exceptional. She answered all my questions kindly in easy-to-understand English. It was a slight shame that the early morning transfer and lunch box I requested weren't properly communicated, but thanks to her, I had a fantastic two-night stay. Thank you!"

A wonderful hotel. Everything was top-notch. The hotel is new, modern, and everything works perfectly. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious; soft, cozy slippers; an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer were all in the room. I especially want to highlight the excellent breakfasts – something for everyone. Delicate syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), oatmeal, very tasty fish, nuts, strawberries, raspberries, and freshly squeezed juices (carrot, orange, grapefruit, detox). There's a good, large fitness room with many machines, and yoga mats and blocks are available. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again. It's not budget-friendly, but we don't regret choosing it.

The hotel was clean and truly felt like a 5-star establishment, and the room was beautiful. The bed and bedding were especially comfortable, making me feel like I was sinking into them, and I slept really well. However, there's a major flaw: the shower drainage was poor. The water wouldn't drain, and it kept pooling. I had to turn the water off periodically, wait for some of it to go down, and then turn it back on to continue showering. Honestly, when I choose a hotel, shower facilities and water pressure are very important to me, so I hope this can be improved. If I had been staying for more than one night, I would have complained and asked for a room change, but since it was just one night, I let it go. Other than that, everything else was great.

Overall, it was pretty good. Since it's newly renovated, there was still a slight smell in the evenings when we came back. The breakfast was excellent, but the rooms aren't cleaned daily; you have to request cleaning for it to happen. For daily water, you need to ask the front desk to get it replenished. The transportation is quite convenient too, with a subway station not far from the exit. All in all, it's worth recommending.

We stayed at the Hilton Tashkent City and were extremely satisfied. The hotel fully met our expectations. We especially want to highlight the staff — everyone was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes. The hotel's location is also excellent — close to a park, restaurants, and the city's main attractions. Thank you to the entire Hilton team for a wonderful stay and hospitality! We would gladly return again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel isn't located in the heart of Tashkent, but it's close to the airport and high-speed rail station, about a 10-minute drive away. Great value stay with excellent breakfast in Tashkent We stayed at Viva Hotel in Tashkent and found it to be a comfortable and good value option. The location is convenient. It is about a 12 minute walk to Kosmonavtlar Metro Station, and there are plenty of markets and places to eat within walking distance. It is easy to get around the city from here. The room was very big and spacious. The beds were soft and very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was decent, with a western-style toilet and enough space for a comfortable shower. There is no TV in the room, and there are limited convenient plugs for charging devices. However, you can use one of the wall outlets that is normally used for the water boiler. The hotel provides tea and cups, which is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only one of the three staff members spoke English, so you may need to use a translation app to communicate at times. Despite the language barrier, the staff were still accommodating and tried their best to assist. Breakfast was excellent, with many options available. It starts early at 7:00 a.m., which is very convenient if you have an early morning train. If your train departs at 8:00 a.m. or later, you can still enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to the station. There are elevators to access the rooms. Soundproofing is acceptable, not perfect, but not problematic either. Overall, this hotel offers very good value for the price. The location is good, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are helpful. I would consider staying here again on a future visit to Tashkent.

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless. The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages. Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made. Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around. The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day. I believe most who stayed usually 1-night. The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights. My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit. However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended. I would like to commend on the front staff lady, Dildora for her professionalism & calm demeanour. Thank you.
