We spent 3 nights at the Belair Hotel with breakfast included. On the first night we received a small room of 10-12 m2 with a sea view, even though I had booked a room of 22 m2 (standard room on Trip.com). The next day, the reception without any problems suggested changing the room to a larger one. The rooms are quite modernly decorated in a holiday style with a fridge, a kettle and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The hotel has 2 swimming pools. In July at 10 there were no more free sun loungers. Instead of going to the swimming pool, I recommend going to the beach for the whole day - the best one is 30 m from the hotel (next to the Rhodes Palace hotel - an underground passage right next to the Rhodes Palace sign). We were offered to change towels once every two days. During the season, the hotel offers evening attractions in front of the hotel bar right next to a busy street. There are two supermarkets under the hotel where you can buy from food to souvenirs. Breakfast was good, not much choice and quite monotonous. The service from the cleaners to the reception desk is nice and communicates in English. There are bus stops in front of the hotel, with buses taking you to/from the airport and the center of Rhodes. Tickets must be purchased at the supermarket next to the hotel. Despite a few inconveniences, I rate the hotel a strong 4/5.

How this is a four star hotel I have no words for a starter. The air-conditioning is virtually non-existent jamming a towel in a door and opening the balcony window was more effective. and in the restaurant, this was the same with the air-conditioning. virtually non-existent. The entertainment is just like the previous review absolute joke for a four star hotel . food is average to say the least drinks were okay, but definitely not of the better quality which you would expect in a 4 star, tea making facilities but no tea, coffee and milk in your room ,tv with very basic of channels This really is no more than a three star hotel The gym on the equipment some of it was damaged and unusable The electric did go off a couple of nights so then you heard the backup generator running all night On the plus side, the rooms were changed clean and tidy every day , you do not have to fight for a sunbed

What an excellent find. We chose the Belair for our best friend’s honeymoon and an early anniversary celebration for us. The rooms although basic were very comfortable with a large sea-view balcony. The air conditioning was unfortunately not brilliant but I think that varied from room to room. The pool was very large with an infinitely ledge at one end. It was very easily accessible and had a single depth of 1.3metres. All the sun-beds were set out around the pool and beyond into quiet areas or by the toddlers pool. It had its own pool bar where you could also get snacks. The young ladies Roberta and Sophia who ran the bar were lovely ,very pleasant ,with a great sense of humor and both had a very diamond toothed infectious smile. At the rear of the hotel there was another decent sized pool for those who liked more of a shade. Now I’ve done numerous all inclusive holidays and you kind of know what to expect, very weak alcohol and drab food. The Belair really surprised me although yes the beer and spirits were as weak PI$$ the food was superb loads of variety perfectly balanced for every nationality and cooked perfectly too. The restaurant staff were very polite and courteous nothing was too much trouble. So that brings me to the Entertainment. Willy and of course Mr DJ the hosts all day and all night. They worked their socks off from aerobics and water polo in the day to what we Brits love the best, cheesy night time entertainment all great tongue in cheek stuff. A real good laugh. I’d definitely go back to the Belair without any doubt

I don’t even know where to start, but this is definitely not a 4*hotel! It has two wings and apparently one of them has been refurbished, but we stayed in the main one. All the furniture is probably older than me. The rooms are dated, old AC which is barely working, so don’t be fooled by the photos. The food is very average, pretty much leftovers from the day before. The greek salad which should be amazing, were so disgusting! I don’t know where they’re getting those tomatoes from. The staff working in a restaurant is nice, however there isn’t much staff! So you get a drink almost when finish eating. Now, the funny or I should say not funny at all entertainment…. I have never seen such an unprofessional bunch of people in my life! And those who say that “Willy” (if that’s his name) was great clearly have never seen an entertainer in their life. So rude, constantly laughing at people’s british accent (I’m not british, but even I got angry!) The games involve collecting peoples clothes, kissing random men etc. What is that?! Oh the main guy’s (Willy’s) partner comes in every day with two little kids. This is not a problem of course, but!!! She ends up letting them wonder around the pool, especially the little boy!!!! Who is probably less than 2 years old, whilst she’s enjoying her cigarette and other people end up looking after her children so they don’t fall into the pool! In the evening she joins the entertainment team by smoking on the stage… Wow! What a professional! Lastly, we had an incident and I’m actually shocked of how this hotel dealt with it, or I should say did nothing about it! One evening, we were all outside sitting and watching the ‘amazing’ entertainment and then it started to rain quite heavily. Whilst we were getting wet we were fine as it was still very warm but all of a sudden we heard a powerful exploison and saw lots of sparks coming out of the main electricity post just outside of where we were sitting! Another exploison and Bam the whole hotel was covered in darkness! Which I should say didn’t last very long, thanks God! Me and my husband went straight in together with the crowd. At that moment no one from the hotel staff said anything (maybe this is normality for them) or even checked if we were all ok! Some people were standing and watching it, and no one did or said anything. Is there anyone even trained in how to deal with incidents?! Especially when this was so dangerous!! So for you to imagine better, there is a very busy main road just outside the hotel, a bus stop and this main electricity post. Something obviously was wrong with electric cables, because even when we went back up to our room we could see the sparks coming out of it (had a view to the see and the road). Because it was already evening, we decided to go to sleep. Guess what, we were woken up before 7am from another loud explosion! And Bam the electricity was gone again!! No lights, no AC, no lifts… whilst we were already awake we decided to go and

Pleasantly surprised by all aspects of our holiday. Like many we read the reviews and wondered if we would be disappointed - a family holiday is a big undertaking and needs to be right. From the moment we checked in (late on Saturday evening) to the time we returned our pool towels, I cannot fault the staff and friendly service we received. With the hotel being truly international, it was nice to enjoy a wide variety of dishes at every meal time , although the desserts were a bit unimaginative! We had no issues with sunbeds during the holiday and most days beds were still available 9-10am. Our beds were comfortable and air conditioning effective. The rooms felt a little dated and the bathroom cramped (442) but it was all clean. The view from the balcony was over the pool and out to sea and we weren't overlooked.. some of the side sea view rooms would feel quite overlooked I would guess. The pool was fab with easy access and the infinity pool gave a different aspect to watching the world go by! The loud music by the pool every day was a bit of a surprise but actually didn't turn out to be an issue. Willy is a legend and he works so hard entertaining the Belair People! I love embracing these holiday moments like AquaGym and Bingo. Not everyone's cup of tea ! A pleasant 10 days in the heat of Rhodes and with no complaints!

This hotel was great. It was our first holiday as a family of 3 and it was perfect for our first time. I had been to Greece lots before the children but this hotel was great. It had great swimming pools, a good selection of food lots of entertainment and right on the beach. The local town was lovely and about a 20 minute walk. We went into Rhodes old town for a morning and it was so beautiful. We will definitely be returning in the future

Excellent holiday hotel. Loads of sunbeds and every 2 beds had a sun brolly. No 7am towel reservation rush. Lovely pool with infinity pool, and daily activities. Executive room with sea view was fantastic. Staff were so nice - shoutout to Ilyas in the bar and Bill the night receptionist who were great ambassadors for the hotel. Breakfast excellent - great hot selection and cold meats and pastries, fresh pancakes and French toast. Evening meals were varied every day. The restaurant was never frantic. Supermarkets on the doorstep the one to the left sells bus tickets to Rhodes Town (around) couple of euros.

Stayed at Belair for ten days and had a great time. No sunbed issues which was a huge relief after a recent stay in Majorca where people were reserving as early as 4am. We were really impressed with the food, we are not a fan of all inclusive but did half board and appreciated being able to choose between lunch or evening meal. We ate out in the restaurants near the hotel and Rhodes town and all were great. More expensive in the town square area and be careful of ordering a large beer in some as you will get a welly boot size! FBI glory days sports bar (not rowdy) to left as you leave hotel did great value food inc meal deals, had a huge amount of draught beers and ciders etc and the staff there were great. We got the shuttle bus from the hotel a few times rather than the local bus which regularly went past the stop as was often full. Shuttle is 8 euros return so good value for us, but if more than 3 of you taxi is better value at 11 to 13 euros per trip. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. All staff here were fantastic, smiley, polite, professional. The entertainment in the hotel is a one man show. Willy is absolutely the gem of the Belair. We really enjoyed the music around the pool and the aqua aerobics etc. The evening entertainment is so bad it’s funny, but definitely not for anyone wanting classy / professional entertainment. We did a boat trip (Romantica) which we booked at the harbour. 70 euros each with max capacity of 40, you could choose your sunbed which is yours for the day. 3 stops for swimming snorkelling, they provided the gear. Food cooked on board by a great chef, very delicious food not your standard bbq food. All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely consider staying here again
