The location is great, right outside the Songhua River and very close to the cruise ship terminal, very convenient. The room facilities are very clean, very fresh and odorless; the service is warm and thoughtful, and parking is convenient. The breakfast on the sixth floor has a complete range of varieties, a good environment, and a relaxing dining environment. The picture was taken casually in the restaurant on the sixth floor.

It is about 1km away from the west exit of Jilin Station, and it takes 20 minutes to walk with luggage. I didn't book a hotel closer to the train station because this one has a cheaper room rate and breakfast. The room rate is over 100 yuan, which is great during the Spring Festival! The room is not big, and the bedding is the same as Hanting. It is still very comfortable for one person. There is a radiator in the room, which is convenient for drying clothes. It takes less than 20 minutes to walk to the shuttle bus to Songhua Lake Ski Resort, which is very convenient.

The transportation is very convenient, and the train station is just a few minutes' walk away. The room is large, with an inner and outer suit, which is completely suitable for a family of four. The facilities are relatively new, clean and sanitary. The breakfast is rich in variety, with fresh ingredients, rich and delicious. I will definitely stay at Wyndham again next time I come.

The hotel is near the train station, so there are a lot of people and cars, and it is very lively. There are four parking spaces in front of the hotel, which seems a bit too few. But the land near the train station is very expensive, and it is not easy to get it. Everything in the hotel is small, the front desk is small, the lobby is small, and the room is even smaller. The decoration is quite old-fashioned, and it is a relatively old hotel.
The breakfast is OK, with both Chinese and Western styles.
The location is good, and it is convenient to go to the station and other places. There are also many shops along the street downstairs, which is good for simple shopping.
The service is quite polarized. I contacted two female front desk staff successively. The young one was enthusiastic and patient, which is worthy of encouragement. The old one with short hair was indifferent, which greatly reduced the stay experience.

There were stains on the toilet when we checked in, but it was cleaned in time. There are many places to eat next to the hotel. There is also a morning market when you get up early, which is very down-to-earth. Finally, I want to talk about the breakfast, which is really good. Who would have thought that stewed eggplant with potatoes would appear in breakfast, and musu pork, which has more meat than vegetables, is simply delicious. Children also like the Chinese and Western buffet.

GGuest UserIt was our first time in Songhua resort. We chose Jenny apartments because it seems they were very closed to slopes and we were right. The building 2 was just in front of the ski center building and the cable car. Simple but cozy apartment. Perfect for 3-4 people. Jenny and her family were absolutely nice since the beginning: she helped us with the luggages from the nearest parking ( the apartments are in a pedestrian area so the car can’t reach the door), to get the ski pass, to get some tickets for the swimming pool… and to resolve any doubt we had. They don’t offer breakfast but there are many choices 5 minutes walking. We enjoyed a lot our time in Songhua resort! We will come back soon!!

AAmberIOWWe truly had such a wonderful time here, we stayed for two nights! The guesthouse is cosy and cute with a homely feel to it, slept so comfortably and the room is warm, I could have stayed in bed forever haha! The staff are great and the boss is SO helpful, he arranged pick up service from and to the train station, drove us around the Island and even took us to the hot spring! We are so grateful for his kindness! I would recommend anybody who wants to visit Wusong Island to stay here!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so happy!! Thankyou soo much, we will never forget this trip and our stay here ❤️❤️❤️❤️ x

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

GGuest UserLove Trip.com, and Holiday Inn in BeiDaHu is great, but I was wondering if the services offered to Chinese nationals can also be offered to foreigners, for instance being able to buy Ski Lifts thought the hotel. This service is only offer to Chinese nationals with a local ID Number, in addition is only offered in the app in Chinese. I went to Holiday Inn so i can ski in Beidahu, which is wonderful, but had to buy a ticket every day, go to lines, etc.... instead of having a 4 day ticket offered to Chinese id holders.
Other than that Trip.com is great for PRC,

AAdlayneI love this place. The breakfast is amazing and the window views are stunning. There is a nice little convenience store in the alley next to the hotel where you can get snacks and drinks. There is a department store and eating district not too far from the hotel. Only about 10-15 minutes walking behind the hotel. There is Korean bbq and hot pot. In the hotel is a great hot pot restaurant as well. A little pricey, but you are eating at the hotel, and it is delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. English is not always readily available. But the staff will always try to maintain good communication.

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel. The bedding is very comfortable, and the location is good. There are supermarkets and it is easy to get a taxi. There are parking spaces on the roadside, but there are not many vacancies after staying for two days. Maybe the roadside space is a bit tight. Fortunately, I didn't rent a car. It is very close to Jiangbin Park, where there are rime and ice and snow parks, which are fun. Go to Wanlu Yinsi to see rime, and walk along the Songhua River. It's so beautiful. It's best to stay here when you come to Jilin to see rime.

Accommodation is modern, clean and very comfortable. We slept 5 guys in the villa with no issues and we all loved it! 24hr mini shop next door and a little cafe with really friendly people for your morning coffee before hitting the slopes.
7am - 10pm free transport around the resort, just drop them a wechat message. 2 minutes shuttle to the slopes.
I cant rate it any higher - for the money, this place is top notch!

GGuest UserThe owner of the inn is very enthusiastic, and the dishes cooked by the chef are also delicious. The accommodation in the hotel is okay. You can contact the owner to arrange transportation. The hotel is near the Songhua River, and it happens to be where you can take pictures of sunsets and sunrises, and the rime is very good. By the way, I was able to take pictures of the stars, so I added the owner's WeChat account before checking in. He taught us in detail how to take the bus to the entrance of the inn after getting off the train. We ordered dinner in the restaurant at night when we arrived. My friend and I only ordered two dishes and didn't finish them. The portion was really huge. Early the next morning, the boss knocked on the door to wake us up and drove us to see it. Sunrise and rime. The boss’s Wuling car is a beautiful sight in the scenic spot. When he comes back, he will have a home-cooked breakfast at the inn. After dinner, the boss also drove us to the scenic spot of Wusong Island and introduced the local customs and characteristics to us tourists very enthusiastically. A very satisfying trip. I will come back next time!

CCat Z.We added the manager on Wechat and he was so helpful and attentive. Service was great. Room was warm and clean. We arrived late on the first night and asked for dinner recommendations. He checked our food preferences, called ahead and sent a car to take us to a good restaurant! Breakfast is nice and right next to the ski service center. He helped with tickets and transport for our whole trip. Would definitely stay again!

Could have used some more kitchen equipment to go with the kitchen - there’s just a kettle and a couple of cups. Likewise the bed sheets are a little small: they kept falling off the bed. But for this price, we were very happy - we will book again!
