The hardware is very good. There was hail on the night of check-in and I had to change hotels in the middle of the night. It’s hard to explain.

Our stay was good. The service and staff were excellent and went above to make sure that we were comfortable and safe. The location is great for the Rosebank Mall a few minutes walk away or a ride on the complimentary shuttle service. We ate dinner one night at the bar and the food was fresh and so tasty.
Some areas for growth:
The breakfast was the same all 3 mornings. Maybe change one or two dishes to add a bit of variety.
The carpet in the hallways looked dirty and dated the hotel.

THE PILLOWS AS WITH EVERY OTHE SS hotel is too soft. NOT ENOUGH ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO VEGETARIAN.WE END UP EATING EGGS. STAFF IS FRIENDLY. THE HOTEL AND THE NEW RENOVATIONS ARE VERY MODERN. The receptionist heard it was our 25th anniversary. We booked a cheap room and she upgraded us and decorated our room.

The staff were not friendly at all customer care did not exist. The room condition was poor. Kettle had rust in it , bath room was damp. Breakfast was disorganised. Staff had breakfast with guest. Lack of varieties poor selection of food. No halaal consideration. Absolutely a disappointment. I would not recomend anyone book with this hotel.

Southern Sun Rosebank was only two blocks from the Rosebank Mall and the City Sightseeing bus. It's an easy walk but the hotel also has an hourly shuttle service to/from the mall for free. This came in handy after dinner when we didn't want to walk at night. The hotel was clean, the restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner. The hotel staff was helpful and everyone was super nice. I would stay here again.

Absolutely easeful and wonderful check in with the most helpful lady! Thembeka was dealing with multiple guests with such and personalised service. She is a gem!! I was so impressed with how she handled every guest with such care and attention
