Hotels near Site of Suzaki Old Battlefield, Kamakura

It's a little inconvenient that it's a little far from the station and there are few shops nearby (there is a 7-Eleven across the river), but I think it's a calm stay. The room was on the website that it was invited to a Western-style building in Kamakura, but it may be more like a private house room than a hotel room. It is a simple interior with a warm wooden interior. It was a pity that the windows were a little shabby, including the curtains. I think breakfast is a feature here. There is also delicious bread at the salad and soup bar. There is also curry. I was worried that it was not enough compared to the Japanese and Western buffets, but all of them were very delicious and it was a breakfast that made me feel happy as I ate. The next day was the same menu, but the person who stayed for a long time had a quiche service and was very satisfied.

Before the Tokyo Olympics, there were several hotels around Fujisawa Station. It is one of the hotels that opened at that time. The location is not bad. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station Rotary (even if the traffic light waiting is long). ２４ 7-Eleven on the 1st floor of the hotel, Gust, Shabu-Ya, a family restaurant, enters the second floor. The front desk of the hotel is on the 4th floor. Rooms are on the 5th to 13th floors. The gown is located in the elevator lobby on each floor. Other amenities are on the side of the front desk on the 4th floor, which is the style you bring yourself. The room is very simple (compliment), there is no step between the guest room and the unit bath, and the toilet space. There is a Japanese outlet and a USB-A jack beside the bed. In addition to Wi-Fi, there is a wired LAN and LAN cables are always available in the room. The TV is not an online TV, but since the TV comes out positively, I was able to use the Amazon stick I brought in using the vacant HDMI on the back of the TV. The room is recommended on the sea side. On the mountain side, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner in the room (the outdoor unit of the sea side room is also integrated on the mountain side) is outside the window, and the visibility is a little poor. The washing machine and dryer are on the 7th and 11th floors. The washing machine is 300 yen per time for detergent and fabric softener automatic insertion type, and the dryer is 100 yen for 30 minutes. There were microwave ovens and juice vending machines and ice machines on the 12th floor, but I didn't use them. However, I did notice some dust behind the TV. On the positive side, the location is excellent, making it a great choice for solo travelers. I was pleasantly situated near the bathhouse, which added to the overall convenience of the stay. However, it’s worth noting that I recommend against choosing a smoking room if you’re not a heavy smoker. The floor had a pervasive cigarette odor that was quite strong, and it felt like the scent clung to my clothes. Overall, it’s a decent hotel experience.

鎌倉は十分に日帰りできる場所なのですが、ちょっと気分を替えたくて一泊してみました。このホテルの一番のウリはロケーションだと思います。JRと江ノ電の鎌倉駅から5分少々。メジャーな小町通りとは反対側の御成通り商店街沿いにあるので、周囲に飲食店や雑貨屋さんなど楽しいお店がある一方で、小町通りほど人通りが多くなく、静かで落ち着いた印象。由比ガ浜まで徒歩15分くらい、朝市（8時から）をやっている野菜市場からも近く、朝の散歩がおすすめです。 あまり期待していなかったけれども、大浴場が思ったよりも広く、人の少ない時間を狙って入ったので、ゆっくりできたのがとても良かったです。 良くなかった点としては、お部屋からの眺望が残念な感じだったこと。駅近くの商店街＆住宅街の中に建っているので当たり前なんですが、4階の部屋なら少しは周囲がみられるのでしょうか。自分が泊まったのは1階で、窓を開けると普通に道路に面していたので、カーテン替わりの障子を開けることはできず、昼間でもいつも薄暗いなと思いました。 また、ホテルのHPを見るとベッドが窓にぴったりくっついているレイアウトが多そうで、自分の部屋もそうだったのですが、これが寒かった...！ロールアップカーテンをおろしても冷気が窓から来て、その冷気がダイレクトに肩を冷やす...。エアコンよりも毛布をもう一枚欲しかったです。 部屋自体はコンパクトだけれど必要なものは揃っていて快適に過ごせますが、自分の満足度が低いのは恐らく1人で泊まったので料金の割高感が否めないせいかもしれません。このクラスのホテルで1泊1万8000円払って朝食なしって、少し前なら考えられなかった気がします。ホテル代上がりましたよね…。（朝食を別途お願いすると和定食or洋定食1600円ぐらい）鎌倉は全体的にホテル代が高いので仕方ないのかもしれません。次回泊まるかといえば、微妙。部屋の設備に不満はないけれども、料金に見合っているか？という点から考えると疑問なので、星は3つとさせていただきます。

Chose this place because of the price and the offer of Mount Fuji view. Certainly the view did not disappoint us, love the sea view and Mount Fuji. Room was spacious and the layout was nice though dated to some extent. The grounds looks like it need some sprucing and maintenance work. Checkin was efficient though parking came with a price. Maybe hotel should consider free parking for guests as most would be driving to get to this area. We ate at the Japanese restaurant though you had to walk in the rain on the day we were there as the restaurant was located on a annex building. Food was good and service was fine but on the higher end of prices. I like the neighbourhood vibe, there is a supermarket, hardware/pharmacy and bakery within walking distance from the hotel. There are a few restaurants by the beach and we tried the Pacific place. Prices of food along the beach are much more reasonable. Would stay here again except that traffic along this stretch of road is very bad as it is only a one lane road and traffic lights at almost every junction. Be prepare for a long and slow drive between hotel to town.

The location is very good, about 5 minutes from Kamakura Tram Station. The staff's attitude and service are very good. The entire B&B is very clean. There are public spaces, kitchens, and rooftops, which are very nice ~ The only bad thing is that I stayed for 7 nights. About 5 nights, different roommates slept and snored... I couldn't sleep at all... If possible, I will book a double room in the future...

I booked for my brother and family. They enjoyed the beautiful view of Yokohama bay bridge. Good thing about trip is that it provides detailed information about the room before booking which is better than the hotel s official website or other online booking.
