Great venue with history and traditional ambiance, and excellent staff! Ayesh in particular is an outstanding barman who makes the visit memorable. His expertise with spirits, cocktails, and flavor profiles is top-notch, and he has an incredible ability to understand your unique preferences. He has a warm, engaging personality and a wonderful smile that instantly makes you feel welcome you feel like a regular.

Het hotel heeft een schitterende panoramische ervaring over het victoriameer. Eten was heerlijk, en personeel was erg vriendelijk. Onze ober Ayesh was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zijn Engels was goed, wat communicatie ook wel vergemakkelijkt. De staat van het hotel heeft echter wel wat onderhoud nodig, maar tijdens ons bezoek waren ze bezig met renovatie van de jacuzzi. Nu nog het zwembad en hopelijk komen er dan weer meer gasten, want we waren de enige.

After being dissapointed by another hotel we came to the Albatross. Being welkomed warmly and having a great meal by the sweetest chef. A Clean room and amazing view. We dont drink alcohol but our bartender Ayesh made us a couple of amazing mocktails!!! Our transfer to this place was the best choice.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. The large, comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep, and the breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan mountains were unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Pretty awesome family holiday we had. The Albatross offered us a friendly service, delicious food and the best view from the level 4 of the Coconut hill. The two suites are highly recommended for those who like to enjoy the serene view of the golf course and the Victoria reservoir. Really appreciate the service of all the staff who were very attentive. We enjoyed the culinary brilliance of the chefs, and was delighted to meet the long standing chef, Benedict once more. Ayesh made excellent cocktails provided us a great service. All in all, our thanks go to everyone at the Albatross who made our family holiday a memorable one.

Excellent location. Mesmerising views. Beautifully decorated rooms and lounge in keeping with golf theme. Service was excellent. Hats off to the two cooks! delicous food - esp Sri Lankan cuisine. enjoyed a relaxing holiday. Highly recommend to either couples or for friends and family

Ideal for rest and relaxation. It is a cozy and comfortable villa filled with golfing memorabilia. The rooms and public areas have breathtaking views of mountains and the reservoir. Excellent meals and service. The staff was attentive and always happy to help. Highly recommend for small groups visiting Kandy and golfers.
