I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses around the world, from developed countries to developing ones. However, I have never experienced such exceptional hospitality as I did at Shanashel Palace Hotel. The regular breakfast time starts at 6:30 AM, but as I needed to check out at 5:30 AM, I requested a cold breakfast package. To my surprise, they informed me that I could come for breakfast at 5:00 AM! What a pleasant surprise it was! All the warm dishes were already prepared. In addition to this, every aspect of their hospitality was outstanding. Upon my arrival, they showed me several rooms and allowed me to choose my favorite one. I am eagerly anticipating another opportunity to visit this hotel again. Mr. Abbas, the hotel manager, and his colleagues have the ability to create a unique experience for every guest.

This time I came to Baghdad alone and found this hotel online in advance. To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for this hotel at first. I came here with the thought of staying safe for just one night, but I got too many surprises. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel entrance. The hotel staff enthusiastically picked me up. Here, I instantly took off my guard. One of the Chinese young men told the taxi driver in fluent Arabic the time to pick me up the next day. , a classical Iraqi beauty helped me check in at the front desk, and warmly put a protective cover on my passport. When I arrived, the room was definitely not as luxurious as a domestic hotel. It was spacious, clean, and complete with toiletries, which made me feel more comfortable. I went downstairs and met the boss at work, a warm and talkative man from the northwest. The food here is worthy of praise. You can drink all the drinks freely and there are many kinds. There are even domestic Wanglaoji, coffee table, etc. There are more than a dozen for dinner. A Chinese dish, including Mao Xue Wang and Pimple Soup.
