We used this hotel to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday. We were impressed from the outside even before entering the inn. It is clean and has a relaxing Japanese atmosphere. It seemed like it took a long time to check in because they were busy, but the welcome drink soothed us. The long corridor, electric cart, gondola, and stairs to get to the room on the 6th floor were tough for my 77-year-old mother, but by the time she went down to the bath, she was already enjoying it and said, "You get used to it, but it doesn't bother me, but I'd get lost if I was alone." She walked as if she was going for a walk. Each dish was carefully prepared and the seasoning was just right, so my mother enjoyed it. They also accommodated the men's requests for rice, and the white rice was delicious! The service of the person in charge of the meals was wonderful, and it didn't seem like a job, but their heartfelt service made the meal even more delicious and enjoyable. They even prepared purple chanchanko for my mother's 77th birthday. I don't think I told them it was for her 77th birthday, but I think they noticed when I wrote "Congratulations on your 77th birthday" on the cake message on the online ordering service and prepared it for me! What a thoughtful touch! My siblings who went with us all said "We want to come again!" and best of all, my mother was smiling and happy the whole time, so I'm really glad we chose Kawaba Onsen Yuurian. Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful and memorable time. Thank you so much.

I visited in early summer when the countryside was beautiful. Prior to our stay, we received a thorough phone call to confirm matters, and our requests were answered perfectly. My elderly parents were staying with me, and I had booked a room with stairs, so they said I could change the room if there was a room available, so they upgraded me and we had a wonderful stay. Ta. There are antiques throughout the hotel, making it feel like you've traveled back in time. In addition, the elderly and children will be happy because an electric cart will take them from the front desk to the accommodation building. When you take the glass monorail to the observation deck, you can look down on the thatched roof of the hotel, and see the majestic Mt. Akagi and the green countryside, making it feel like a small sightseeing trip. I had previously stayed at the sister restaurant, Yakushi Onsen, but it was a different experience and I was impressed. The room was also decorated with antique chests of drawers and transoms, and the daily necessities and home appliances were well hidden from view, giving a sense of care throughout. Some hotels near the beach have washing machines in the rooms, but I was surprised to find a drum-type washer/dryer in the room. Also, Suikinkutsu in the toilet! The one in the garden of a temple! You can feel the owner's commitment. The bath in the room has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and although it is not a hot spring, there is also a small TV and refrigerator hidden here. The large public bath is fed by natural hot spring water, and the faint smell of sulfur makes your skin feel slippery when you soak in the hot water. Bath towels are also available in the large communal bath in the accommodation building. The bathroom amenities were KNOLL, the skin lotions were Sekkisei, and the hair dryer was Koizumi. I did not go to the public bath for day trip baths. I stayed for 2 nights and was very satisfied with the food. The meals were served in a private room, using a lot of local ingredients, and I was completely satisfied. Even though we had each of us cook rice in a pot, we were too full to eat it. The breakfast was also luxurious, using ingredients that seemed to be good for the body, and including a hot pot of medicinal soup. If I have a chance, I would like to visit again.

I stayed here for a family anniversary trip. I don't really understand the concept. For better or worse, it's cluttered and feels like you've been to your grandma's house in the countryside. The beams are fine, but there are spider webs in various places, dust has accumulated, and cleaning is not done properly. Levels are not unified for each staff member. It's good that it's dark overall, but I think it's dangerous for elderly people because it's hard to see small steps. There are a lot of antique works, but I don't know what I want to show because they are so scattered.
