My opinion and review about the Lalit Hotel. Because the staff is so friendly I promised to name them in my review. I was a guest at the Lalit Hotel for 4 nights. When I arrived I was tired from traveling, a very friendly and charismatic doorman by the name Ravindra opens the door for you and carries your bags inside. After that I was resting in the lobby while the staff brought me some cool self made fruity drinks to rejuvenate and some hot drinks from my sore throat. That's when I noticed the staff is very friendly and very willing to help to make their guest feel comfortable. While I was enjoying the lobby with my guide, my friend Amit from the Hotel took care of the formalities of checking in. Later on he showed me around the hotel and brought me and my luggage to my room and explained to me I could take leaves, from the Bael Tree to offer to Lord Shiva. He explained and guided me to all the facilities etc. He really takes time to make you feel at ease. I introduced myself to the room service staff named Kallu, Rishik and Sajal. They will take care of your every needs such as water, cleaning, towels, shaving kits etc. Sajal and me talked about Indian culture, the Gods and recommended me food dishes I should really try while staying here. The room was nice, quiet and comfy. For my stay I wanted breakfast to be included. My good friend Bhagwat took care of me at the restaurant, offered me delicious Indian style ginger tea and made me feel comfortable and at ease. for the throat which was made by either Rishi or Prakash. Miss Palkee was very kind to me every morning she asked me how I was and explained what was in the food. After breakfast I enjoyed a Sauna and Steam. The staff there, Chan, Ramakant Sen and Chanda Anuragi set it all up and offer you tea, water, towels, whatever you need afterwards. After that I liked to stay at the pool because in the morning the sun is nice and warm and doesn't burn. Rajendra showed me around the shrines, temples and the hotel property where I learned they grow their own fruit and veggies! How cool is that? I got offered a fresh tomato and Bael Tree leaves by Halkai. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend this Hotel. A final shoutout to Muskesh, Subham, Vinay, Uttrakhand, Jageshwar, Kedarnath and the people who's name I did not write down or met ***** the way. They will greet you with a smile and welcome you with open arms. I had a great time. Thank you everybody!
