Lovely rooms, very clean, great food and lovely staff.
On the downside the drinks were pretty average. Coffee not great, wine not great, soft drinks varied, spirits weak. Also found it very odd for a supposed 5 star to have to pay extra for things like pool towels, some “premium” sun beds and bottled water? Not expected. The dining areas could really do with better lighting and some added character - they feel a bit canteen-like.
However the food was really very good. Fresh, varied and tasty with lots of options. Deserts were also excellent. And the staff are great all round.
It’s a quiet hotel, peaceful, with little or no evening entertainment even in peak summer. But if that’s what you like this is hard to beat. We walked into the village one evening which was so nice with a few good local restaurants, and only took 10/15 mins to walk.
The grounds, pool area and rooms are so well kept and can’t be faulted. We were in the swim up rooms which were very lovely with great views. Best of both worlds. Overall I would definitely recommend it, and would certainly go back.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Bars were understaffed and slow. Food was hit or miss. Some was very nice while other selections were bland.

Overall it was pleasant. But there are a few points that need improvement. For example there is an a la carte restaurant, but in fact you have no choice, it's a mystery menu because in no place do you have the menu displayed. As for the buffets, they are good but very quickly repetitive. There is also a lack of local products. The setting is magnificent as is the swimming pool, however there is nothing at the beach too bad. And especially for us who only spoke French, no people nor any document explaining the operation of the hotel in French. But I want to say that we had an excellent stay.

The evaluation of the structure overall is positive even if there are many small things still to improve, below are some suggestions. For example, improving the breakfast buffet for those who don't eat salty foods. The machines that dispense freeze-dried cappuccino coffee and milk are not up to par. The fruit is roughly cut placed in a fridge and unappealing. We asked to heat up some almond milk as it was only available cold and we were told that it wasn't possible...I don't expect that from a resort as well as charging for the use of the safe when now everyone includes it in the price .

The structure is brand new and very beautiful. We had the room overlooking a pool reserved for only a few rooms. All the staff were fantastic starting from our lady who cleaned our room with incredible courtesy as well as being precise and meticulous with cleaning.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly. The meals are varied and there is something for everyone. The swimming pool is very well maintained.
Excursions are offered from the hotel, bus stop for Chania is also nearby but having rented a car we cannot judge this.

The staff is consistently friendly and courteous, especially the reception staff. The architecture of the pools and rooms is attractive and elaborately designed.
The cleanliness still leaves something to be desired in some places. In the bathroom you can still see the shoe prints of the cleaning staff and the toilet brush stand is rusted through and leaking.
Overall, the hotel is a new building from 2020, which shows the rather cheaper workmanship and selection of materials. Construction rubble and residues from the construction period can still be seen in the area.
The main restaurant is more reminiscent of an oversized canteen with no special atmosphere.
