The hotel looks like it is being renovated. The pool has dark tiles that are too dark, which makes it look scary because the water color is not bright. The room is very spacious and big. However, the facilities and the room condition are old. If it were taken care of better, the atmosphere in the room would be even better. The room smells musty. In addition, the service, reception, breakfast is very good. The food is delicious, freshly made, dish by dish. I would recommend trying the food here.

Unfortunately, we couldn't tell whether the pool was in or out of commission, but if it is ready, it's huge and would be a great place to relax. The hotel itself is on a street with plenty of restaurants, massages and the usual Thai amenities.
The room was large and clean, but you will need to keep an eye out for mosquitoes, but that goes without saying. Staff were efficient and friendly on the front desk, and other than checking in and out we had no need to deal with them at all.
It's about a 10minute walk to the beach, or about 25 minutes to the start of the Monkey Trail.
Good hotel for the price!

The swing pool was dirty. All the shower knob was rusted and swiming pool was full of algae. Room service did not leave towel and asked for it but did not arrive until we checked out. Very very bad and room is full of mold and insects.

The whole hotel look like it needed to be remodeled. The pool was green with LG, the lobby. Attendant was nowhere to be found for quite some time, the floors in our room were dirty and Sandy.  I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

To justify my rather low rating, here are some problems encountered.
The air conditioning did not work very well, the elevator was broken, the entrance door to the room did not close properly, the balcony door did not close properly either with a gap (as if to say welcome to the mosquitoes) , aged furniture. The hotel needs renovation.

We lived in the third building on the 3rd floor. The rooms are large, with a balcony, a view of the pool, cleaned every day. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, away from the main road and noisy establishments, but all the infrastructure is nearby. Next to the hotel, 3 meters from 7/11, pharmacy, shops, massage parlors.
The pool is large, you can make a long swim, but it needs renovation. The blue color of the tile makes it look unpresentable and gloomy.

This property requires a lot of maintenance. However, still much better than the closer Aonang Viva resort.
Improve your breakfast, clean your pool, fi. Bathrooms, AC, install lifts and so many more things.
