We had a fantastic holiday!!! Everyone we met were all so nice and welcoming . The boys at the bar Angelo and George were great fun and a credit to the hotel . All the staff made you feel like part of a big family . Thank you for having us - can’t wait to return next year .

This was our first visit to the Anseli Hotel.I visited with my husband and 16 yr old son on the 27 th July 2024. Arriving late after a delay we were welcomed into the hotel. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels everyday apart from Sundays. The staff are so lovely .particularly Lisa and Angelo. Both very hard working and super friendly as are all the staff. We went half board and the food was lovely and couldn't fault it. The pool is nice , plenty of sun beds 20 min walk to the main bit of the resort ..beach 20 mins walk nice but pebbly beach. Rhoades Town is about half an hour on the local bus which is worth a visit especially at night. I have to say ,it's one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It is a 2 star hotel but the atmosphere, service , friendly staff and surrounding make it feel like a 5 star. We met some lovely people many who have been lots of times. We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Just home from our 3rd stay at Anseli. From the wonderful welcome when we arrived to emotional goodbye on leaving , we once again loved it here. The family are simply the best. The apartments are adequate for our needs. They are cleaned everyday except Sunday ,so very clean . They are a 2 star hotel so don't come thinking you are getting 5star furnishings and fixtures. You will however get 5 star service . Good pool,friendly bar , lovely restaurant/ snacks. We met so many nice people again. Cant wait to go back. If you do visit here just be aware , its under the flightpath and you will have to walk 10/ 15 to there nearest shops and restaurants.

This is my 3rd visit to the Anseli and it again did not disappoint. I went with friends and we had a great time. Always sunbeds available. Food outstanding as ever. What really makes this hotel so special is the family that run it. Nothing is ever too much, you are treated like family and we were waved off by Angela when we left. Angela and Litza are so hardworking but always have time for a chat. Thank you Anseli for another fantastic time x

Another fantastic stay at my favourite place to holiday. I usually visit with my partner but this time I travelled with 3 of my friends to which 2 had never been before . We all had the best time. The rooms are spotless , the food is amazing and the staff are go above and beyond to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. I will be visiting again in a few weeks and even though I’ve stayed there many times I always look forward to my holidays at the anseli . Thankyou to you all xx

Our second visit to the Anseli and we were not disappointed. We are aware this is a 2 star hotel so it never over promises and under delivers,it provides value for money! We love the fact that the food is real home cooking (loved the spaghetti). The family who run the hotel are so friendly and want you to enjoy your stay there. The bar I must say is the best in the area, we always came back there even when we tried others in the town! We loved it there and the lovely people that worked there, they made our holiday a good experience. I adore the daughters and the grand daughter, the whole family are just lovely!! The Anseli Hotel holds a special place in our hearts and always will. special shout out to the oldest daughter who made us feel so safe whenever we asked for a anything to be done, such a professional and made us laugh. What a great holiday ,Small & Friendly says it all .Greek people are friendly ,but Anselli go above & beyond .A real family business ,classed as 2 star but as good as any 5 star we have been in . Food lovely & very reasonably priced . Big shout out to Lisa & Angelo.The local village Kremasti is a working village it as a beautiful church ,it has not been spoilt by tourism .Local beach is pebbly ,kite surfing great to watch .Boat trip to Lindos very enjoyable booked at hotel . Will return met some lovely friends . So so relaxing

Nice hotel, small place, clean but not spotless. Staff lovely - attentive but not as warm as other Greek family owned hotels. Food selection and prices very good. Barman excellent. Clean sheets and towels everyday. Kitchenette is very poor. Small fridge, no sponge - washing up liquid, no toaster or grill. I’ve seen more useful tea trays! No toiletries. Our room air conditioning was very poor, barely worked in a heatwave. Not many plug sockets. Pool area small but adequate. Location is awful down windy narrow dirt tracks. A good 10-15 mins to the town. The town is sparse with restaurants and bars. They did lend us there wheelchair however the tires were flat! Very kind thought though. Breakfast was set menu or something on toast. Not buffet and slightly restricting. This hotel had so much promise but its location lets it down. If they offered lifts to the beach or town that would be helpful. It would be a shame if it closed down as they know how to run a hotel. It’s just its location.

We have just returned from Rhodes and found the hotel to be just what what we wanted. The staff at the hotel are truly delightful (with special shout out for the lovely lisa).hire a car from about 30 euros a day and go and explore the island or just stay around the pool if your not that adventurous , the beach is about a ten minute walk and sun beds are only 4 euros each with the usual beach bar attached,the town has some nice bars and restaurants which is a similar distance (dont forget that its unlikely to be raining so enjoy the walk!)
