During the Raya week, we went to Permai Hotel KT for a staycation. We really enjoyed it. The hotel room was clean and recently renovated. The kids love the comfortable bed and the swimming pool. The room comes with 2 complimentary breakfast for adults and extra fees for kids older than 4 years old. There’re lots of options for breakfast, including typical Malaysian nasi, noodles, cereals, kuih, fruits and salad. We also took dinner there. We ordered pastas and they were served with lots of seafood and vegetables. Between, I guess the sauce was mostly made from scratch. And the ingredients were fresh. The taste was awesome. My younger one is always picky with food. Yet she couldn’t stop eating her pasta and other orders 😆 The quality of the food far exceeds the standard for a 3 star hotel. Also, all the food was reasonably priced. With RM170 per night for a superior room, I think the experience and quality far exceed what it should deliver 😊. If you’re looking for a comfortable yet reasonably priced stay in Kuala Terengganu town., I highly recommend this hotel. And my only regret? Location: 2 minutes’ walk to Chinatown, 20 minutes’ taxi ride to TTI pier, 25 minutes’ taxi ride to Terengganu Airport. There is a MYR 2.4 supermarket behind the building, and there are MYR 2.4 on the first floor, which is perfect (Picture 9) Cleanliness: Very clean, the bed is big and comfortable, the room is also big, two bathrooms, living room and dining room Facilities: There is a refrigerator, a microwave, a TV to watch YouTube, body soap, shampoo, bath towels, no toothbrushes, and no slippers. Service: Fully self-service, the landlord will contact you +v in advance, very convenient Highly recommended

Hotel is situated within walking distance of KTCC Mall and towards the beach. Easy access for food and purchase. Downside is the hotel and room is quite old. Floorings are not in good condition. Room entry door is damaged and required to open manually with key which require some techniques. Window is there but the view of the sea is restricted by the wall panel installed. Lift is quite scarry by the way it opens and close.

Friendly staff including receptionist, waitress and waiter, and car park security. Considering the low price, value for room and the most awesome thing is the room came with buffet breakfast for 3 persons, and the breakfast was really good! Overall experience is good.

lokasi ok, center of town near new shopping mall. Food also easy to get. this booking is good value for money. Breakfast is acceptable. Room and public areas are clean. Staff ok

Very amazing newly built hotel, near to the drawbridge and shopping malls. Comfortable bed, nice receptionist and the plus plus point is the bedding and price. Two queen sized bed for a great deal price. Carpark is always full but we managed to get a place. Recommended! Book direct with them to get a better deal. Cons- Rooms are not soundproof. Can be abit annoying if there’s kids running around outside.

Booking bilik superior king room 3d 2n (no window). Tapi boleh request nak katil king/twins single. I request 2 single bed tpi yg ni dapat yg ada window (mengadap ke depan) . Love the aesthetically design/style but cannot with their shower soap/shampoo. Can smell good and bad at the same time. Kadang ii bau okay herbs ii star anise. Kadang ii bila buka part toilet tu bau mcm public toilet dkt rnr. Cadar/blacket ada coklat mark gitu. Maybe tk hilang walaupun dh basuh. Nth la. Tak selesa nak solat very sempit ruang untuk solat sebelah singki hijau tu ha. Mula ii dpt bilik 209 pastu 4pg mcmtu staff bg tukar bilik 210 sbb aircond tkjdi kt bilik 209. Sampai berpeluh peluh tidur malam sbb dia auto. Kita tkleh adjust temp. Lastly, room tiles. Tengoklah sendiri. Tbh not recommended for u to go with friends ke sape ii sbb bilik air tu boleh nampak dri luar kau mandi. Indah khabar dari rupa. Tapi staff baik je. Oh satu lg kalau amik bilik mcmni susah sikit la nak makan dlm bilik sbb kerusi meja dia sambungan dri kepala katil tuje. Recommend duduk 18suites, cheaper, bersih, ada meja nak makan, a bit luas berbanding payang. Air coway pun disediakan ktsana.

Had a great stay here but the facilities are a little bit dated and the room decor look a little bit tired.could use some refurbishing.

With no presence of 5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu, I had to find the best alternative. I was lucky to find Valya Hotel, situated in an area called Gong Badak. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect hotel, I think your search should end with this hotel. Look, I am someone who values good quality and top rated hotels for a comfortable stay. This hotel has many of the things I was looking for: - Free WiFi - Elevator - Close to shops, eateries, convenience stores (e.g. Jakel, Mydin, Watsons, 7-11, pharmacy etc) - Close to airport (less than 10 minutes) - Basic bath amenities and in-room slippers provided (towels, toothbrush are available) - Strong rain shower pressure, proper bidet These factors would suffice to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. The price point is extremely affordable. I booked a Superior Triple room with window. Although there is no ”view” from the window, you can still have some light shining through, for a less claustrophobic environment. Other things that were missing, but acceptable at the price you are paying: - No breakfast - No in-room safe - No dedicated parking space for hotel guests (more on this below) - No view from window (as mentioned) My main gripe will be parking, as mentioned by other guests who reviewed this property as well. As there are many shophouses, you should expect a chaotic and congested area full of vehicles during the day. Parking is chargeable at RM0.60 per hour, and you can pay for parking at the various stations around the parking lot, with some not functioning at all. It is a challenge to find space close to the hotel, and you will end up having to move your car closer to your hotel when the congestion clears up in the evening. Another plus staying here will be a self service laundromat on the other side of the row of shophouses. Overall, Valya Hotel is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Terengganu. You can reach the city centre in mere minutes, and the airport is within close proximity. Highly recommended!
