3-Star Hotels in Kunming

The location is near the metro. It's just 5 minutes walk. Easy to find this property. The girl at the front desk when I checked in is enthusiastic to help me. She almost doesn't speak English but she's had a lovely service mind. This property is so close to the green lake park. I spend the time from this hostel to the park just 4 minutes walk. It's worth to stay here and the price can afford for the solo travelers who want to save cost like me.

we paid a lot of money to stay here and at that price we felt it was really a bad deal. A few days later after the holiday season, the price dropped to about 1/3 of what we had paid and I guess it wouldn’t be too bad at that price point. The main advantage of this place is that it’s right in the heart of the student area with a lot of coffee, shops, and a few restaurants. Maybe a 10 minute walk down to the lake which is not too bad also.  the bed part about the location is that solid 20 minute walk from the metro station with part of it being uphill. one thing that we found strange about this hotel is that when you enter the lobby it’s just an elevator when you go up to the top floor to check in. Like many places, no one speaks a word of English, and they seem to even have a hard time reading the checking voucher that is provided by trip. the breakfast was OK for a Chinese breakfast. Not the best, but not too bad. However, if you’re expecting anything like an American or European breakfast, it is fairly disappointing.  we returned to the city a few days later, and decided to book a different hotel, rather than return to this one 

This hotel is so great! The staff are nice. We arrived around 1 am, and the check-in process was so fast. They even upgraded our room to a bigger one. The room is clean and smells good. The location of the hotel is also great; it's located right in front of a mall, so it's very convenient.

I stayed in this hotel for training in 2019, it was average. I was about to leave Kunming this time, but decided to stay one more night and chose this hotel. The price is proportional to the overall environment, and the toilet environment can only be said to be tolerable. The rice noodles and breakfast buffet were pretty good, the service was also good, and I was quite satisfied overall.

I had only booked two nights and was going to Fuxian Lake, but the location was really convenient. Although the facilities were a bit old, I was more confident in chain hotels than B&Bs, as long as they were clean and tidy. I renewed the reservation for two more nights, and both Wawa and the elderly were very satisfied. Wawa lost the room card, and the front desk lady gave me a new card without saying a word, which was very warm. We haven't borrowed their freezer to store things, which was very warm and considerate. Although it's old, I will probably stay at their house again next time I come to Kunming.

The service attitude at the front desk is very good, the hotel environment is clean and hygienic, the bed in the room is soft and comfortable, the parking is very convenient, the breakfast is a buffet, there are many varieties, I am very satisfied. Will come again next time.

We only spent a short night here before travelling onwards. Small room but everything works perfectly (incl strong enough wifi to do video calls), very clean and super friendly front desk staff. There are a few restaurants nearby. Convenient location not far from city center. In the morning, it was a bit difficult to get a Didi to come to this location because there is a school in the same street and everything was jammed with cars dropping off their kids. If you walk to the entrance of the street for a few minutes it will be much better.

The room is clean and ok, and the front desk service is good.

Facilities: The only thing is that air conditioning is not popular. Sanitation: General Environment: General Service: OK It is far from the subway station, so it is convenient to travel. There are no snacks around. There is no air conditioning but there is a fan. It is not too hot. The price-performance ratio is not bad. Kunming is beautiful, but there is no nightlife. Haha, you can't find food in the middle of the night😂

The room can be checked in early, which is great! Many rooms in Kunming have to check in after 12 o'clock. Secondly, the room is the same as the photos, very new and clean, easy to park at the door, next to the old street, although it is a long way to walk, but not noisy, clean and very good! The comments said that the sound insulation is not good, I don't think so, but I can hear the door next door closing. The room is indeed not big, but I think it is enough. The service attitude is also very good, and I will stay here next time
