Hotels in Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming

The hotel location is super convenient! The entrance is very easy to find. I would recommend you all for staying here, it's located at the center of Nanping Street, surrounded by many local shops, department stores, and attractions, also nearby Nanqiang Night Market. The room is so clean, cozy, no cigarette smell, separate air conditioner, the bathroom is perfect size, big tv screen (luckily, I have witness one of the greatest 2026 world cup match while staying there) The bed is very comfortable. I almost don't want to get up in the morning LOL. The services are also superb! Front desk located on 8th floor, they were very helpful. You can stored the luggage there if arrive earlier before check-in time and after check-out. Rest assured that you will be very comfortable during your stay here!

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs, you'll find a pedestrian street, and the Shuncheng Shopping Center is right there. There are also about half a dozen other malls nearby, making dining and getting drinks incredibly convenient. Service: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were given a high-floor room, and the breakfast was quite good – they even provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. We didn't get a chance to try the late-night congee, but I imagine it would have been good too. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff were very enthusiastic and did a thorough and clean job. There's also a large Miniso and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea downstairs, which are always bustling with people. It's a great spot for families with kids.

I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the location isn't super prominent, the bedding and towels were new, and the whole place was clean and bright. It had large screens on the windows, so ventilation was excellent. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, and there were two types of pillows, which was perfect for my tired back and neck. The shower had great pressure and strong water flow – I didn't want to get out! The hotel upgraded my room, so I had a lot of space for just one person. I didn't book breakfast, but I did go down for coffee and two eggs and observed that it looked quite good, better than at other Ramadas I've stayed in, so it's worth considering. It's close to the north entrance/exit of Kunming Railway Station, which is convenient for high-speed rail. The subway is a bit far (the exit is on the south side of the station), but Kunming isn't that big, and taking a taxi to places like Green Lake, Dianchi Lake, or Dounan isn't expensive.

After the Gaokao (college entrance exam), my friends and I traveled to Yunnan and stayed at this hotel. The location is excellent, right in the city center of Kunming, about 700-800 meters from Kunming Old Street and 1 kilometer from Kunming Green Lake Park. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically recommended great local spots for food and entertainment. The room was also very clean, and they even offered complimentary disposable bath towels and hand towels. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very close to Kunming Station, within walking distance, making it very suitable for catching a train. The hotel itself is an old-established 4-star hotel; it looks quite grand from the outside. All the staff you encounter, including those at the front desk, are professional and enthusiastic. We booked a family room with one king bed and one single bed, perfect for a family of three. The room also had a small tent, giving it a bit of a camping feel. They even delivered tremella soup daily, which was very nourishing. The breakfast buffet is in the revolving restaurant on the top floor, offering expansive views. I think the variety of dishes could be improved; while it looked abundant, there weren't many truly delicious options. We stayed in the Fashion Building, and the elevator broke down several times. We left in a hurry and forgot to take four small ornaments that were on the windowsill. We called the hotel that same afternoon, but unfortunately, they couldn't be found.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Courtyard Hotel during our trip to Kunming. The hotel boasts a truly unique ambiance with its beautiful and tranquil courtyard design. The moment we stepped in, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of complimentary services, including breakfast, afternoon tea, sweet soup before bedtime, free laundry service, Chinese tea tasting, and even a Hanfu experience. While the room rate isn't the cheapest, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as they provide far more than just a place to sleep – it's a complete and thoughtfully curated experience. During our stay, I wasn't feeling very well, so having such a quiet and comfortable environment to rest in was incredibly important to me. The staff's concern and care truly made me feel comforted and supported. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway, and Kunming Old Street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Thank you to the entire hotel team for your care these past few days. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and would highly recommend it to friends who appreciate a charming courtyard style and a thoughtful accommodation experience.

The hotel is centrally located to the Kunming laojie and wuyi road shopping district and walking distance to a lot of food, restaurants and shopping. It provides standard Atour hotels service which I like. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The air conditioning is good too. However, there are only 2 lifts which are not enough to service the number of clients and the lifts take a long time to come to the level. The other issue is with the door. As the hotel is testing to sound proof the rooms by placing a shield around the door, it resulted in difficulties in closing the door. U have to close a few times to ensure it is locked before leaving. There was once we thought it was closed, but only to come back to realise we have not closed it properly.

Newly opened hotel, the facilities are great. The room isn't huge but it's very functional. Excellent location and great value for money. It's a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area.

The facilities are excellent and the hygiene is top-notch. When they found out I was traveling with my parents, they upgraded our two breakfast vouchers to three, provided three extra bottles of water in the room, and an additional room key. The next day, I asked for a late check-out because my flight was at 4:00 PM, and the hotel happily agreed. Overall, it's great value for money, and the location is good too, with a high-speed rail shuttle service.

This newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer. The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity. Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻 Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment. The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience. Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!
