Such a lovely place to stay in Kunming. The staff speak English, and the location is perfect, everything is easily accessible, from the lake to Kunming Old Street, Nanping Pedestrian Street, and even a local fresh market nearby. What I really loved is that it’s a mix of both Chinese and international travelers. If you’re traveling solo, you’ll probably make friends here in no time. I was genuinely surprised to see people of all age groups just hanging out and having a great time together. One small thing to note, there’s no elevator. So if you’re carrying heavy luggage, getting to the top floor can be a bit of a task. Smoking in allowed in the common area, a warning is that you will be passive smoking. My favorite part has to be their cafe and restaurant. After a long day, it was so comforting to not worry about finding food outside. They’re open until 11 pm, and the food is genuinely good. Morning coffee was sorted too. I already miss my favorite Oreo drink, both mocha and chocolate milk, please share the recipe😭. We only stayed here on our arrival and departure days, but ended up eating at their cozy restaurant most of the time. They also have some nice vegetarian options. If I ever come back, I would definitely stay here again. I absolutely loved the place, the vibe, and the people. I was also really curious about the story behind the owner after reading the little note in the menu, but couldn’t find more about it. Wishing you good health and happiness.🌷

My stay was exceptional. The service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and the complimentary tea, snacks, and fruits were a really nice touch. The restaurant's ambiance is beautiful, making it a perfect spot for afternoon tea. A special shout-out to the pineapple cake served during afternoon tea – it was absolutely delicious! The breakfast setup is also very well thought out, with two different time slots that perfectly suit the habits of younger travelers. I was also very impressed with the in-room speaker, the makeup mirror, and the individually sealed small towels. I will definitely be back to stay here on my next visit to Kunming.

I dont think you can get a better deal for the price. Its clean, the bathroom is amazing, there are international power sockets and 3 washing machines. The only downside is that although the hotel is kind of in the centre, theres not much going on in the close proximity.

This hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town, making it super convenient to walk to all the attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The hotel itself is clean and hygienic, with spacious rooms and excellent hot water pressure in the separate wet and dry bathroom. They even offer free self-service laundry facilities. The breakfast spread is great, and the rice noodles are especially delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

The room facilities were excellent, and the front desk service was superb from check-in to check-out – everyone was very helpful. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, and the lobby had a great atmosphere. It's also very close to Daguan Park and the Zhuanxin Farmers Market. I had a very satisfying stay. The front desk was also well-equipped with almost everything. Since there was no phone in the room, I joined a concierge group, and whatever I needed, I could ask for it there, and items were delivered promptly. I'll definitely come again.

We had a wonderful stay at the RAW Hotel in Kunming. The first thing that impressed us was the hotel’s unique and beautifully designed interior. Every detail felt modern, stylish, and thoughtfully planned, while still being highly functional and comfortable. Our room was beautifully designed and featured a private cinema setup that our son absolutely loved. It made our evenings together extra special and added a memorable touch to our stay. The location is another major highlight. The famous Green Lake (Cuihu) Park is within easy walking distance, and even Kunming’s Old Town can be reached on foot if you enjoy exploring the city. The neighborhood itself offers several creative restaurants and cafés, making it a fun area to discover. At the same time, it is very easy to get a taxi to the railway station or any of the city’s main attractions, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Overall, the RAW Hotel offers an excellent combination of outstanding design, comfort, functionality, and a fantastic location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and stylish place to stay in Kunming.

Extremely close to Kunming Old Street. We had Jianxinyuan rice noodles in the evening, and the next day we walked to Cuihu Lake. We also enjoyed wild mushroom hotpot nearby. It was a very comfortable itinerary for our family of three. The service was excellent, and there's a gym and laundry room on the first floor. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a small charm and hand cream! Highly recommended!

Facilities: Fully equipped with a hairdryer, electric fan, and charger. Cleanliness: Extremely clean, not a speck of dust. Environment: The jacarandas are in bloom. The hotel is super close to the subway, you can see it right after exiting the station, just a two-minute walk. It's also very close to Cuihu Park, only a few minutes away. Service: The staff provides excellent and very enthusiastic service, and you can store your luggage. They offer free hot water, which is great for your stomach – I've been drinking cold bottled water and it's been upsetting my stomach these past few days. The staff's service attitude is like the warm sun in spring. I hope the hotel continues to thrive!

This is an unbeatable choice for traveling with friends, absolutely fantastic! As soon as we walked in, the lobby was spacious and bright. While we were sitting there, the front desk even offered us warm black tea. So thoughtful! The front desk ladies were always smiling and helpful. We asked them about fun places nearby, and they thoughtfully told us where to go. If you arrive early, you can even park for free, which is very convenient. It’s also very close to the bus stop, just a five-minute walk, so the location is great. It's really close to the Zhuanxin Farmers Market, less than a ten-minute walk. The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was super comfortable – perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The sink and toilet were also very clean. The front desk staff had excellent service, and so did the housekeeping staff; whatever we needed, they could resolve it. The breakfast was quite rich, with Yunnan specialty sauced pork rice noodles – the sauced pork was delicious! They had both Chinese and Western options. Plus, there's free laundry service, which was incredibly convenient during our two-day stay; they even have a dryer and an iron. We will definitely come back here again when traveling with friends!
