The location, service, common areas, and atmosphere were all excellent. Every morning, I couldn't resist getting coffee downstairs at the restaurant, and from evening until midnight, I found myself going through bottle after bottle of beer. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'm definitely staying here again.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, with meticulous attention to detail everywhere. The mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a wonderfully quiet night. Check-in at the front desk was quick and smooth, and the staff were polite and responsive to all requests. The location is superb, making dining and getting around very convenient. Overall, it felt cozy and secure, making it a top choice for accommodation in this city. I've already recommended it to friends and look forward to staying again.

This is my second time choosing the Grand Park Hotel by Cuihu Lake, having stayed in Kunming a few times. The location is truly a 'hidden gem' – No. 20 Honghua Bridge, within a ten-minute walk to the Yunnan Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Wenlin Street. You can even see the shimmering waters of Cuihu Lake from your window. It's a well-established five-star hotel; while it's older, it's well-maintained. The solid wood furniture and ethnic patterned carpets give it a distinct Yunnanese vibe, rather than a trendy, 'influencer-style' aesthetic. The extra-long windows in the room are a highlight. This hotel is perfect for city walks around the Cuihu Lake area, for those traveling with seniors, or guests who prefer not to change locations frequently. However, if you're looking for brand-new facilities or an 'Instagrammable' pool, you might want to consider other options.

Traveling with my parents, we received a free room upgrade. The room was clean and complimentary fruit was provided. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was very patient and helpful. The hotel is very close to Cuihu Park and within walking distance of Kunming Old Street, which is incredibly convenient.

Choosing Atour for my Kunming trip was definitely the right call! The location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the city center, and just 50 meters downstairs is the 900-year-old Kunming Old Street. Nanping Street, Nanqiang Night Market, and Shuncheng Shopping Mall are all within walking distance. You can easily grab all sorts of local Yunnan snacks and flower souvenirs, and the whole area just buzzes with life. It's only 200 meters from Wuyi Road subway station, and a few minutes by taxi to places like Cuihu Lake and the Military Academy, making travel to and from the train station and airport super convenient. Tourists really don't have to worry about getting around at all. What surprised me most was how peaceful it was despite being in a bustling area. Downstairs, the commercial district is lively, but once you close your room door, the soundproofing is excellent, and you won't be disturbed at all when sleeping at night. The room hygiene was impeccable. There's a fresh air system throughout the room, a wet/dry separated bathroom, and standard 'naked cotton' bedding and Deep Sleep Pro pillows – after a long day of traveling, lying down was incredibly relaxing. The 65-inch screen-mirroring TV, mini-fridge, and smart toilet were all fully equipped. The natural light was great, and the space felt spacious and not at all cramped. The breakfast buffet was truly impressive. They had all sorts of Yunnan specialties like freshly made rice noodles, tofu pudding, soy milk, and Ersi (rice noodles), with a rich variety of dishes. Plus, they even let you pack food to go if you're in a hurry. The hotel also offers complimentary self-service laundry facilities with an iron, a small gym, and free parking for those driving. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful. Check-in was fast, and they proactively offered flower cakes and hot tea. They were also very patient and accommodating with requests like luggage delivery and late check-out. The attention to detail made me feel really at home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

Arrived at the hotel at night. Was a bit disappointed at first: no parking in front of the hotel and the lobby was quite small. However, the front desk service was professional and enthusiastic. They even offered flower pastry snacks and a late-night supper, which quickly got us into vacation mode. The hotel design is very modern. The red and black color scheme is stylish. The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. Only woke up the next morning to realize how close Green Lake was! The rooftop restaurant offers a beautiful panoramic view of Kunming. The location is just excellent!

The room was spacious and clean, with a great sleeping environment. The service was warm and attentive, and they even offered a free upgrade to a larger room. The breakfast had a rich variety of options, and there are many attractions nearby. Plus, you can even wear Hanfu for free to take photos outside, highly recommend it!

The location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. Open the French windows and you're greeted with lake views and weeping willows. In autumn and winter, you can even spot red-billed gulls. Yunnan University and the Yunnan Military Academy are within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the old city without much travel. The hotel's design was partly conceived by I.M. Pei, blending new Chinese style with retro Art Deco. The lobby's gilded lotus sculpture, rosewood carvings, and vintage staircase create an incredible ambiance. The gardens are tranquil and elegant, and every photo you take captures the unique, understated elegance of a historic five-star hotel. Service is gentle, understated, and perfectly balanced, never intrusive. Upon check-in, guests receive fresh flowers and welcome fruits, and the room is refreshed daily with Yunnan-style floral arrangements. Turndown service includes peach gum and white fungus soup, along with seagull-shaped cookies – thoughtful details that truly shine. The 24-hour butler service is on-call, and staff members politely greet guests, always professional and sincere. The room comfort exceeded expectations. The bedding is soft and plush, and the soundproofing is excellent. During the dry season, the whole-house humidity control system is a lifesaver, especially for those with allergies. The bathroom features a built-in TV in the bathtub and electric privacy glass. All mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's even freshly ground Yunnan small-grain coffee, adding a distinct local touch. Breakfast is served in the lake-view restaurant, offering a rich variety of authentic dishes, including freshly prepared Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, 'posu bao' (flaky steamed buns), and rose 'naiba Jiu' (a local milky wine). Dining by the lake creates an exceptional atmosphere. The accompanying heated pool is clean and uncrowded, perfect for relaxation. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is perfectly suited. Its century-old refined quality is irreplaceable. I will definitely choose Cuihu Hotel again on my next visit to Kunming!

Breakfast was great with a good variety of options. The hotel's location is super convenient, being very close to the hospital and near Shuncheng Walking Street and a shopping mall. It's a quiet hotel, which was perfect. I'd specifically requested a quiet room for my elderly parent who needed to rest well before a follow-up hospital visit, and they really delivered on that. We were very happy with the room arrangement. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!
