It's a bit far from Onhata, and the shuttle bus stops running at 8:30 pm. You have to walk to see the night view of Onahata at night, but it's comfortable. It's a bit dark if you have to carry a flashlight, and it's difficult to walk if it rains.
There are multiple hot springs, and there is also a free Japanese hot spring bath. The buffet dinner includes all the drinks, which is a big surprise. Of course, the style is not too expensive, but the food is also good.
There is not much choice for breakfast. Checking out at 11 o'clock is a rare arrangement by hot spring hotels. There is still time to soak in the hot springs after breakfast and leave. It is commendable.

It is a hot spring hotel that is a bit old-fashioned but not old. The hotel has a shuttle bus departing from Kusatsu Onsen Station. Please check with the staff for the timetable.
The quality of the hot springs is very good. There are multiple baths so you don’t have to worry about being crowded. I would like to come again if I have the chance.

We stayed in a triple room, which had just enough tatami for three people. It was a little small but enough. Dinner was semi-buffet and breakfast was buffet. The food was simple but delicious. The hot spring was OK, but it was a pity that there was no larger outdoor pool.

We had a pleasant stay at this lovely place. The host family is very friendly. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and surroundings nearby. The breakfast was great. My husband loves the tea room the most as he could work from there during trading hours.
