The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is near Kyoto Station. It can be reached directly by bus or haruka. After arriving at Kyoto Station, find the central exit and turn right to find it. When you walk near the hotel entrance, there will be staff who will help you drag your suitcases to the front desk.
We arrived at the hotel around 1 p.m. and couldn't check in yet. The check-in time was strict and had to be at 3 p.m. However, it was almost time to leave the suitcases in the hotel and have lunch upstairs at Isetan next door.
The room is large, and there is no problem in spreading out two large boxes at the same time. (This is my first time in Kyoto. When I searched for hotels online, I felt that Kyoto hotels are generally larger in size?) The bathrooms are separated into dry and wet areas and are relatively spacious. You can ask the staff at the hotel front desk for cotton swabs, cotton pads, toothbrushes, etc., or you can have the robot deliver them via the iPad in the room.
The hotel is relatively new overall and the environment is very artistic. I will consider staying there next time I go to Kyoto.
